Roy the Kia Service Manager was professional and displayed concerns that assured me the needed repair job was understood by the service department and would be completed properly. Based on the service I received on this occasion and in the past, I remain a loyal Gay Kia customer.

Recently took car that was checked during driveup by the super high tech tire drive-on apparatus in the service drive and then tech rotated and "checked tires". Charged for the service. Tires right afterward showed a lot of wear, little tread, and upon looking closely with the naked eye, the inner metal part of the tires that had deteriorated due to age and wear. Nothing was brought to the attention of the customer that tires were in need of being replaced or that they even had a problem and customer had told them we were going on a long trip (reason for the car to be checked out and serviced ahead of a long trip)! On the trip we discovered and saw the bad tires... (luckily we got back ok without a blowout or being stranded on the highway!). We obtained 4 new tires from another retail business who replaced those bad tires Kia never told us about. Then after this Gay Kia service fiasco... our car was taken for its next regular service at Gay Kia (giving them another chance to do ok work) and so this time we left thinking all was good (because again the green checks were in the boxes on the service check and they said all good with the car). However, on our next short trip the next day we find out something was hanging out from under the front of the car and 2 extremely long apparatus pieces barely off the ground were bolted into each side of the underneath carriage of the car. The car had to be taken to another Kia dealer nearby while out of town to see what was loose and hanging from the car underneath. That other dealer asked where we had this serviced (Gay Kia Dickinson) and remarked "well they put wrong parts, not approved by Kia manufacturer bolted in here...that's your problem". So this out of town Kia fixed the side where there was material hanging from underneath the car. When we took it to Gay Kia in Dickinson upon our return to the area to inquire why they did this non-approved Kia work and inserted the wrong bolt apparatus that caused the materials to tear and hang down from the underneath of the car, the Gay Family Kia tech claimed when he serviced it he saw that part and it "looked like it fit" so he put them on the car. Gay Kia then admitted those were wrong to put on the car in the first place and explained it to the tech. We do not trust work from this place after charging us for work (from a Kia dealer) and this dealer having techs who apparently don't know how to do their jobs (picking a part laying around that looks like it fits) or don't care what they let slide by (badly dangerous tires), and sending customers on their merry way! The dealer service should be THE excellent standard for any service work on their own cars they sell, not the worst! Apparently these two instances were not excellent nor even good nor fair work from the service department in our opinion.

Fast, efficient, great customer service. My vehicle came with 4 free oil Changes and they couldn’t have made it any easier! I was in and out in no time. They even washed my car for me! 10/10 Highly recommend.

The dealership inspected my vehicle very promptly for a reasonable price. Also, they have been working with me to resolve an issue with my engine that has been on going. Even though it’s frustrating to deal with vehicle repairs-the team at Gay Family Kia try to resolve the issue through trouble shooting at a reasonable price compared to other dealerships I have been to. I also appreciate the efforts of service advisor John and service manager Brad in helping me work through an issue with my warranty on my vehicle.

I purchased a new car from the dealership, and the salesman noticed that the seat had a little glitch when moved. I brought the car in to have that part replaced. They were waiting for me at my point of time and treated me professionally. I was out in a little over of an hour with my car washed.

it’s always bad service I feel like when no one greets you when you walk in weather they’re busy or not. A “Good morning we will be right with you” is always appreciated. I’m also assuming my tires needed air which is why all my screw caps are missing?

The staff at Gay Family Kia are very warm and welcoming. They accommodated my needs, even when I did not have an appointment this time. They explained what I needed, immediately and what I should anticipate needing soon (two new tires, as I had just got two instead of all four, in an emergency situation from a tire shop - which they didn't know about yet). They always take good care of me, in a timely manner.

I had the pleasure of having John R. as my service advisor after having a horrible experience at bayway (fredy) Kia . He was honest and knowledable about the KSDS P1326 code on my 2019 optima. We’re still in the process of taking care of everything but so far not one complaint!

Sales representative started out good, presented my offer to sales manager, sales manager said sorry but thats the deal. Later that day he went to another sales manager and made the deal happen. I think all managers should have a protocol and know the pricing on a best deal. For the sales representative, he promised me rubber mats for the car, didn't happen. He also assured me he would let me borrow a bow to surprise my son with his first new car, didn't happen. Don't tell a customer you're going to do something and not come through. I even asked if the bow would be available,he said yes. And all last minute he told me they didn't have one. Unfortunately my plan for my son didn't work out the way I planned it.

While on vacation and visiting my daughter and granddaughters I was having a rough day. I broke my arm the night before and my daughter was at the pharmacy trying to pick up medication for me when she discovered my tire was completely flat! We got AAA to help put a donut on and went to Sparks Kia. Robert was so good to us and immediately jumped into action. I would choose Sparks Kia without hesitation if I needed something in the future.

Although our representative was very polite and courteous, and the work that was required to be done under the recall was Completed, there was a diagnostic that was run that was independent of work covered by the recall. We were not informed at any time by telephone or otherwise of the cost of the diagnostic and we did come pick it up had to pay $200 for the cost of this diagnostic. No repairs were made to the car as only a test drive apparently was required after the recall work was done To evaluate any other issues however we still were out $200 for a diagnostic we were not informed about prior to having it done nor were offered any kind of relief from that. We Have contacted Kia customer service and have lodged a case with them about this inquiry and have secured a case number. As of this date we have received NO follow up nor reach out from anyone in management at Gay Family Kia in regards to this case and we will not be trading in any way with Gay Family Kia in the future nor will we be encouraging anyone we know who is in the market for a car or car service to do so.

I found Gay dealership very helpful in replacing a dead fob for my Kia EV6. Parts dept. explained exactly what needed to happen. What the part arrived, they helped me get scheduled for service and told me exactly what to bring. I was delighted that they even hand-washed & vacuumed my car before returning it.

Excellent experience. It was our first time at the service center and John did a great job. After dropping off the vehicle, he gave us an estimate of when the repair would be completed (finished same day) and contacted us promptly for pick up. Will definitely be returning for maintenance recommendations. A+

The Kia corporation appears to have finally gotten the message about the condition their customer waiting areas, significantly upping their game, and Gay Family Kia Service appears to be on the vanguard of that initiative with the best, most plush Kia showroom and lounge area in which I’ve ever had the pleasure of being seated. From the moment you pull into their brand-new, squeaky-clean, highly polished service area carport, it’s clear they’ve really rolled out the red carpet. Inside, you’ll find plenty of comfortable seating options, complimentary coffee, bottled water, and Wi-Fi, along with plenty of power outlets featuring USB ports at or near every seat. They even have conference rooms for privacy in case you have business meetings to attend. It’s nice enough that I may come here for remote work just for a break from the home office. Service staff was excellent about keeping me updated on the progress of the work being done on my vehicle, and even washed the car before bringing it around. I’m lucky enough to live locally to this Kia service center, but even if I didn’t, I’d cheerfully go out of my way to have car work done at Gay Family Kia for the first-class, reliable experience and service. Highly recommended.

Went in for a recall - waited a while for the part to come in! It was a nice new building with new technology but no one greeted us outside upon arrival, as we walked in 4 people sat at desks no smiles, it took 5 minutes for us to be acknowledged! I ended up trading in my car and honestly I am not excited to use my Kia warranty with the service department here! I hope they are better by my first oil change!

I recently scheduled a service appointment online with Gay Family Kia’s service department. The online booking process was simple and convenient, which I appreciated. However, when I arrived on my scheduled appointment day and dropped off my vehicle, I was informed that it would take 3–5 days just for my car to be assigned to a technician and diagnosed. This was extremely frustrating because that wait time was not disclosed anywhere during the online booking process. Had I known there would be a 3–5 day delay before diagnosis, I would have made other arrangements or chosen a different service center. I completely understand that service departments can be busy, but transparency is important. Customers rely on appointment times to plan transportation, work schedules, and family responsibilities. Clear communication about expected timelines upfront would make a big difference. I hope the dealership improves communication around service wait times so future customers can make informed decisions.
