Made an appointment online for Gerber the moment I finished having my insurance estimate my damage. I then got a text saying my appointment was canceled and to call to re-book. I called 3 times, got left on hold and then hung up on. Gave it a couple of weeks then my fiancé (also had his car hail damage estimate with the insurance) scheduled an appointment for his car. Drive to Gerber only to be told that they were canceling his appointment because they don’t do estimates. Only reason I tried here was because of good reviews from a colleague. I give up, this is too much time and effort wasted to be given an unsatisfactory answer that made no sense.

Don't go here. They had my truck for roughly 3 months and I've had to take my truck back multiple times to fix issues with the repair. I still have issues with panel gaps, headlight fitment, trim fitment, paint issues and alignment issues (alignment was eventually fixed by toyota). To the point I had trim come off on the highway after the repairs. Toyota has an app and while the truck was in their possession I received more than a dozen alerts about how the truck was being driven from hard accelerations, hard braking and hard cornering. When I brought it up I was told that "they have to do that to calibrate all the sensors" every trip they took my truck they drove like garbage and every issue I had with repairs they came up with an excuse for. I gave up. I still have a dent in the hood that my issuance paid for that I will pay for out of pocket because I do not want them touching my truck again.

The people who work here are so friendly and helpful! They finished repairing my vehicle by the estimated date and made sure to keep me informed every step of the way. The mechanic was so nice and informative and made sure I understood exactly what was going to be done with my car. They even washed and vacuumed it out for me before I picked it up, which blew my mind! If anything happens in the future with my car, I know where I'm taking my business! Took the wife's 2018 Impala here for some front end damage repair. The staff was excellent!!! The mechanics definitely went through the damage inspection with a fine tooth comb. They didn't B.S. her with what they found and what needed repair. They kept us up to date with the status of the vehicle consistently. Did I say the staff was awesome!!! Picking up the car was a breeze and they handled all of the insurance stuff. Definitely recommend!

The employees are nice and professional at Gerber. They did amazing work, but we had the paint peel from our bumper the first time we went through a car wash. It's important to note - we waited almost a month longer than they suggested to let the paint harden, adhere and settle before we went through a car wash. We are having to work with our insurance company to get them to refix the peeling paint on the bumper. They tried saying someone hit our bumper and rocks caused most of the damage, but I've never scene rocks do the damage to a paint job as bad as this. We are still trying to get this problem fixed, all I can say at this point is Gerber doesnt seem concerned with time.

This place gets no stars. The people are rude as hell. Actively talk crap right in front of you when they don’t get what they want in surveys. Poor customer service. No respect at all. Things happen to your vehicle after a wreck and now it’s a manufacture problem. Response. Yeah it deals with a black 21 Tahoe Z71 that my wife and I own. It’s still sitting in your parking lot. It’s okay to play your review games of how much customer service means to you. When in reality your customer service Skills suck. The issues of being placed on hold numerous of times for work that isn’t still completed. Calling and not even having decency to say hey we are sorry for this when would you be able to bring your car back for us to make it right vs. calling and just saying when will you bring your car back. No introduction on the phone for you calling. Talking crap right in front of my wife. Here’s a big problem you tried to snow ball a sensor issue for a driver assist that came on after being hit by a vehicle saying it’s a manufacture issue when in reality it is only a manufacture issue when their is recalls not when it was involved in a wreck. You got paid to do a job. So just do the job and do it right. Or find a new career not dealing with customers broke items claiming you can fix it. There’s the response now get to work for what you got paid by an insurance company to do to begin with.

Took my car in for repairs and at the initial inspection the inspector asked what I needed most from them. I responded that I needed them to keep me informed. They texted me at least once a day to let me know how things were progressing and the sweet lady at the front desk called to explain a one day delay in progress due to a part taking its time coming in. They helped with the rental car and explained everything I asked about. At pickup, my car looked new and was so clean! Thank you Gerber Collision and Glass!

So I know it shows four stars but please look at when the reviews were made. It looks like at one time this was a good shop. The receptionist customer service at the Clack location is about the worst I have ever experienced anywhere. We had an appointment that they rescheduled by text (read this in a few other reviews). I get things come up but why wouldn’t someone call and make sure the new time works for the customer. We didn’t see the text and showed up at the original time. I was there with my daughter who had taken off work for the appointment and the front desk ladies were RUDE. She was going to struggle to make the new time so I offered to come in for her. The front desk lady was short and rude with me for that. I did come in to the new appointment for my daughter. The original front desk lady was first to talk to me and was exasperated as if I was interrupting her morning. I almost walked away from this place then. The other lady then chimed in to help. A man came out and was really nice and we chose to stay. We had to make a call to ask a question and the front desk lady was incredibly short and kept cutting me off when I asked questions. Then scolded me for not letting her finish. When it came to drop off the car for work we were again greeted with rude behavior. We ended up taking our business elsewhere. Gerber, read your reviews. It appears you lose business often because of who works at the front desk. See photos for just a few examples. Update. In the response to my review, it states that the manager reached out to my daughter. He has NOT.

Never again will I bring my vehicle here or will I recommend anyone. The only good that came from this is the GM willing to make it right. I should not have to bring my car back to have corrections done when it should have been done the first time. Zero attention to detail and supervision with this shop. I waited a whole year for my car to be fixed and left with half-hearted work. It's almost as if it was painted and put together without overlooking any of the work. Again the only good from it is the GM willing to make it right.

When I first dropped my car off for repairs initially I had to fill out a paper asking me what was most important to me during the repair; quality, time, etc. I selected Quality. Not sure if that played a role in the repair time, but I got my vehicle back after two months which I’m not mad at, just something to keep in mind when you yourself fill out the paper. During the repair I was sent an update twice a week on the status of the car, so their communication is well. I was mainly in contact with Penny at the front desk when I had questions about my vehicle, she was helpful throughout the entire process, sweet lady. The repair techs did a good job also. However, when I got my car back, I noticed my right turn signal was no longer functioning . But when I made the issue known to them they fixed it within an hour so I thought that was pretty neat. Only thing that I wasn’t necessarily fond of during this process were the dates being given to me for pick up. I’m not too sure who sends updates to the customer, but I think I was given about 5 different dates my car would be ready for pickup before it was actually ready. It just led to confusion with me getting rental cars and getting rides to work from people, not knowing how long I would actually be needing to do it. I would much rather just be told a time that seems far out and if it happens to be complete before the date then great. Overall, I had a well experience & would recommend this place.

Very rude! When we tried to call and talk to the front office lady that answers the phone, she decided it was more important to hurriedly get off the phone becauseshehad better things to do than take the call. Repeatedly talked over us and not listen to what we had to say.

My car was in an accident. I could choose whomever I wanted and not worry about money. It boiled down to reviews and who was the kindest and most patient. Caliber Collision won out. There were two completely different attitudes over the phone. I will choose the place who shows kindness, patience, and grace all day. Thanks to caliber for being so kind and patient with me and understanding the predicament I was in. There is not an order number. I was trying to decide who to choose to repair my vehicle. The person that answered showed little to no patience and sounded very annoyed at my questions. If you want me to call and speak with the owner/manager, please provide a name and direct number and I'll happily call and talk to them. You guys may do great work but I'll never find out because if the person that answers the phone represents how I'll be treated then I'll pass.

Needed a repair. Called like a normal person. I was immediately placed on hold for like 10 minutes and hung up on. When I called back, I was again immediately placed on hold for about fifteen minutes. The woman who answered the phone acted like I was inconveniencing her by needing to use this business. I took my business elsewhere. Can't trust a business when they're gonna gaslight you over the phone and treat you poorly before you even stepped foot in their establishment. I won't bother you with my business again.

Thought maybe it was just me, not after reading the reviews. Penny is very rude! I can't believe she's in customer service. I understand folks have bad days but read the reviews! Would not recommend this state farm shop to anyone! Will share my experience with my agent. His location has great customer service and would never send someone into that hostile environment!

Did a fantastic job of fixing the damage! It looks like nothing ever happened. Everyone was also very friendly and great at keeping me updated on the progress and getting the car done on time. They also cleaned my car which is wonderful, inside and outside! The receptionist was amazing and kept me sane while helping me deal with mistakes from my insurance and had a very positive and understanding attitude. Absolutely recommend 10/10!
