I came to this auto body shop on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, to have my car repaired. Initially, I felt a bit puzzled due to an unfavorable situation. However, I needed to get coffee from the nearby shop, and I requested assistance in this regard. The elderly man inside the body shop stated that he would call a tow truck and insisted that if I wanted to get my car repaired, I needed to enter and wait in line. During this time, I felt pressured to enter and initiate the process. This situation saddened and surprised me. I left the establishment, but instead of sharing a negative experience, I opted for a more objective approach to help everyone understand possible experiences. I'm sharing this to assist others in making their own decisions. I hope this review proves useful to future customers.

Would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone- I’m not even somebody who writes reviews but they’ve been so great to work with over the past few years, I feel like I have to! As a first time car owner it can be pretty intimidating having your car serviced and every employee I’ve met has been nothing but lovely and accommodating. I feel very at ease working with them which is worth a lot. I originally found this shop because I lived nearby and they’ve kept me coming back. Barry is very personable and I am always happy to support an Irish-owned business. They get the job done and exceed expectations (in particular I really appreciate that they clean the inside of your car for you, always a nice surprise). I’ve had some bad luck getting hit by other people on the road and they’ve taken care of claims and coordinating with the other party’s insurance seamlessly. I’ve now had two separate bumpers replaced by them, and last year when my car was totaled Barry was kind enough to get on the phone with me and take the time for a consult free of charge. He knew just by looking at a couple pictures that it was probably gonna be a goner. Another time I was in Ireland while they worked on my car and he called with updates, and helped me arrange for my friend to pick the car up for me with no hassle. I also love that they partner with Enterprise so you can be taken to your rental / leave your rental there to be collected when you pick your vehicle up. Or you can hop on the green line right around the corner! No need to worry about arranging to have someone pick you up. Truly do not have a single bad thing to say, bring your car here!

I had work done twice by Glenville - April of 2019 and March of 2020. Both times, I encountered significant delays and broken promises as to when the work was going to be completed. The delays were 3 days the first time and a week and a half for the second time. This month, I dropped it off on Monday, March 2nd and was promised Friday, March 6th. That pushed into Tuesday, March 10th, then the 11th, then 12th at 11am, then the 12th at 12:30. As I paid for my own rental, this was quite frustrating and expensive When I finally got it back they missed work that needed to be done, and the paint job in some areas needed to be redone as it was bubbling and flaking off. Fortunately, I happened to be greeted by the owner who was attentive, understanding, and stood by his company's work. He also listened to my concerns about the schedule and assured me he would talk to the project manager. At this point, I'm not sure if I will go back. The only reason I would is that the owner actually stands behind their work and is attentive to customer concerns. I don't have much faith in the rest of the office however. I did feel like I was just one of many and more of a bother than an actual client.

They fixed my bumper after someone hit me. This is my insurances go to auto shop and I was nervous at first but they did a great job. The only reason I gave a 4 and not a 5 is I wish I was updated about how long it would take. I had the impression it would take 6 days but it took a little longer because the guy who worked on my car got sick. It’s understandable but I wish someone called to let me know cause otherwise I wouldnt have known if I didn’t call for an update! Otherwise, I liked the place and the service was good! Oh! Parking is a bit difficult 😫 Before and after posted !

A tree fell on my car. A big tree. So big the removal experts took the better part of a day to extract it. It shattered my windshield, dented my roof, scraped the sides, and damaged both the bumper and pillar defenders. I was afraid my car wouldn't ever be the same again. Thankfully, though, my insurance routed me toward Glenville Terrace and I'm SO glad they did. The Glenville team (and Viet especially!) did exceptional work and kept me informed of the progress along the way. I picked up my Buick today and she looks exactly as she did prior to the tree experience. I highly recommend Glenville for their overall workmanship, communication, and utter ease of use. They took care of the insurance and everything. I'm so glad to have my car back and so thankful to Glenville for putting her back in tip-top shape!

I can’t say enough about the service I received at Glenville auto body. While dealing with a terrible insurance claim on one end, Glenville made it as easy as possible on the other end. The customer service is beyond from the desk to the people fixing your cars. Jason went above and beyond for me to push my claim through and get my car fixed through the insurance, even though it was extra work for him to do so. Again, customer service top-notch.

Completed body work and alignment after I my parked car was hit. I was connected to this shop by insurance. I chose them out of 20+ options based on good reviews and I’m glad I did. They were very easy to work with, communicated so well throughout the weeks I was without my car and as a bonus worked with the Enterprise Rental location close by (I got picked up by enterprise here and taken to get my rental car and then later I was able to drop off my rental when my car was ready). My car looks like new (great busy work and painting) and drives so well. I’ll choose them myself next time I need anything.

I read the reviews before picking a body shop in the Brighton Allston area. What stuck out about glenville was their good reviews and 1 review I read in particular is why I choose them. It was the review the uber driver claims he was about to get repairs but needed a coffee first, I knew he was lying so I wanted to see for myself. My car was vandalized and Glenville took great care of my car. They set up enterprise for me at a discounted rate. They under promised and over delivered. The receptionist was great always greeting me with a smile when I had to return. I would 100% return (hopefully my car doesn’t need any more body work) but if so I know where I am going. Do yourself a favor, this is the place to go…they worked with the insurance company all I had to do is drop the car off and wait.
