Excellent service, professional, honest, and incredibly timely. Jerome literally saved me a week of trouble (and a ton of money!) after my car broke down unexpectedly during a trip to Boston. He took care of the issue immediately and explained very clearly everything he had to repair. Jerome and Esmeraldo are the best! I’ve taken my car here for over a decade. No matter the problem they fix it. They are straight shooters, to the point, and go above and beyond to deliver a quality repair with top service. Took my car for routine maintenance and was pleasantly surprised by the service and professionalism. They called me a few times throughout the day to let me know of the cost and anything they found wrong with the car. They fixed a part of my suspension that I'm sure the dealer service or other mechanics would've brushed over for a routine maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, etc.) The price was also very good!

I may have just found the best mechanic shop in Boston! I don't know any of their names but, they didn't charge me for a small problem I had a couple months ago that helped me get my sticker finalized. So when my axle shaft went, I decided to give them a try. The guy was honest and efficient with the time he needed. They vacuumed my vehicle. It was all very quickly done. If anything else comes up, I know where I'm going!

Jerome is awesome. Our backs were against the wall with a trip and our car failed inspection the day before we were supposed to leave. Jerome, who didn't do the inspection, worked until midnight to get the car ready to go for the next day's repairs. Our car is an old prius and it took a lot of elbow grease to get whatever bolts that needed to be turned loose, not to mention having to get at some difficult spots. He got the job done at about 4pm on Friday. I took it to another place to get the alignment only to find out the toe rods had seized. I brought it back to Jerome asking him simply if I was safe to drive to my destination, not thinking he would do anything about it, and then he worked another two hours on getting the rods loose. Also, knowing that I was driving the next day, he did a manual alignment just so I could get to my destination early on Sat morning so that I could get a proper alignment there when I arrived. I mean, the dude is a boss. Highly, highly recommend him. And just to show how good he is, both times I was there he showed me the parts, he showed me where they go on the car, what they're supposed to do, explained why they wore down the way they did, and what he needed to do to get at certain spots on the car. Upon seeing what he had to go through, it made complete sense that it was tough to get at certain areas and his process was clear. Very transparent.

They did a good job fluid filming but charged more than they estimated ($828), did an entire job without changing the wire I could have gotten in a couple days which was the point of having the work done and told me I needed brakes when I didn't.

They know what’s up! I’m really glad I came to JCB Auto — they first did a thorough PPI for me at a reasonable price and told me everything I should know about my car. Jerome is not only incredibly knowledgeable as a mechanic but he’s the type of guy I want my money going to. He’s kind, funny and seems to genuinely care about those that work for him. I took my 2015 X5 to him after losing access to a garage where I used to do my own maintenance. I wish I didn’t have to pay someone else to do this work but at least I know it’ll be done to the same standards that I hold myself to!

I have always hated going anywhere to get my car looked at, worked on, etc and I don’t write reviews but Jerome gave me hope that there are some good trustworthy mechanics out there.
