Please avoid this store. There are many choices for auto care that actually want your business. I took my truck in for alignment and was given a list of parts that needed to be replaced before the truck could be alligned. It was an older truck so I believed the technician. I changed all the parts (wheel hubs, upper ball joints, lower ball joints, etc.) I returned to get the alignment done and was told that the technician that gave me the list no longer worked there. The new technician gave me a new list which included the rack and pinion steering system. I left defeated and ended up selling the truck. I bought a new truck (2022 chevrolet silverado). I bought new tires for the truck and took it in for alignment. I was told that the upper control arm bushing was loose and needed to be replaced. I took the truck to a different shop and had all the bushings and joints checked because it seemed weird for a 2 year old truck with 11000 miles to have worn front end parts. The front end parts were fine. I called and made another appointment with Goodyear and asked for a safety check also. This time I was told that the rack and pinion needed to be replaced so the alignment and safety check could not be done (I have never had the steering system checked during a safety check, must be something new). I took the truck to Island Brake and Alignment in Waipahu. I asked for the alignment and if they could check the rack and pinion system. The truck alignment was completed and there was nothing wrong with the steering system. When I called Goodyear Kailua to ask why I was turned away 4 times for alignment and told that parts were defective when they were perfectly fine...I was hung up on. I will never go back to this store and I will recommend to everyone that will listen..."Go somewhere else". I am giving this review 1 star because 0 stars is not an option. It is unfortunate to have to travel over the mountain for decent auto care.

I went here two times in one week due to popped tires unfortunately. The first time they fit me in and I was in and out in a breeze. Now the reason I’m giving them a 3 star is because the second time wasn’t so easy. They fit me into the schedule same day and I was grateful but I came to pickup my car and they didn’t have the lug nut key in the folder. They told me it would be in the cupholder and it wasn’t there. That’s because they lost it. They searched for over an hour to try to find it and the tech forgot to take it off the tire before driving it. They also offered to rotate my tires for free so my two new ones were on the same axel. I noticed when I went to leave that they didn’t even rotate my tires like they were supposed to. Once they found my lug nut key they took my car back and rotated my tires. The only reason they’re getting this high of a rating is because the manager did make it right and gave me a discount on my service and the guy working the front was amazing too. He helped communicate with me when no one else was and he also fit me in both times I had my tire pop. I can’t remember his name but he’s really tall and newer to the company.

Absolutely the best service I’ve ever gotten from an auto shop. Originally I just needed to get some new tires, but as I was pulling into the parking lot of Goodyear, my car died on me (impeccable timing). Fred handled all of my needs in the upmost professional manner. He helped me identify the problem with my battery, gave me a great rate, and he even upsold me on a set of tires that I think are the best option in the long run. If there’s ever anything wrong with my car, I can guarantee you that this is the spot I turn to!

I've done two previous safety checks with this Goodyear, scheduled online, and both times they had no record of the reservation when I went in but they managed to fit me in with a long wait. This time I called and made a reservation. I showed up and again no record of it but couldn't fit me in. Avoid this place. There are more reliable places nearby and better places on the island that do walk-ins.

I called Kailua location to inquire about new tires and alignment. Luke answered the phone and addressed all my questions about how large I could go with tire size. He told me to ask for Freddy if we decided to proceed. We went in and asked for Freddy(about 1:45pm). He quickly addressed previous concerns and made some suggestions. We chose our tire size and asked if the mounting could be done that day. Freddy said sure and we could have the truck by 5pm. We also required an alignment and safety check. We went about our day. Freddy called at 3:04 to say the truck was done. Impressive. After Covid, customer service across many fields has suffered. It was so nice to interact with someone who was knowledgeable and kind. We couldn’t be more satisfied. Incidentally, the day before we stood for 15 minutes in the lobby of Firestone and couldn’t even get a hello before we walked out. Customer lost.

Update: I do want to acknowledge and appreciate the courtesy and response of the manager, who promptly contacted me and refunded my oil service. Original review: Don't get your oil changed here. 1 week after Goodyear changed my oil, I noticed oil leaking all over my garage floor and brought it back. They do a very quick check and say the oil change was fine but that the technician "noticed a leak when he made the change". Why was I not told this when I picked up my car? No response, they told me "good luck" and sent me on my way. Down the street, Midas found that they never replaced the old washer, so now I've paid for that plus another oil change, plus the cleanup in my garage. Lessons learned.

Great customer service. I just bought a car and noticed the air was low in my tires. I pulled into Goodyear today. The manager said it was no problem to help me right then. One of his friendly-helpful guys helped me and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I’ll definitely be back when I need new tires!

I’ve gone to Goodyear for all my service needs but the past three times have been pretty crappy service. I had an oil change at the beginning of this year and the mechanics didn’t screw the engine under cover (which covers the undercarriage/underside of the engine closest to the ground) back into place correctly (missed a few bolts or the bolts were loose and fell out) causing the large under cover to hang down and drag along the road. I drove to the other side of the island after picking up my vehicle and the last 10 min there was a loud scratching/thumping noise. As soon as I could pull off the highway I found the problem. The under cover had dragged and was completely messed up on one side. I had to use hair ties and strings to be able to keep it secure enough in order to drive back to Goodyear and have them fix it (there was atleast 3 places missing bolts). They told me it wasn’t their fault…… but they would fix it…. Cool. They also didn’t reset the dashboard with the oil change light so I had them do that as well when I took it back in. The second oil change this year was last week. This time they gave me back my car with the cover hanging off yet again but this time loosely secured using zip ties. I didn’t even think to check since I didn’t believe they would do it twice in a row. It once again was dragging against the cement when I drove home, so again I had to fix the issue myself and will have it replaced/fixed by someone else. Now there is only one bolt to hold up the under cover (where are all the bolts??). Goodyear Kailua is the ONLY place I’ve ever taken my Honda so….. Both times Goodyear staff did not inform me that there were any issues with the under cover or that there were missing bolts at any point, I had to find out both times when driving and both times ruining the undercover. I’m most annoyed because if they would have just told me I would have literally paid extra to have it fixed correctly (even if they were the ones to not bolt it back in to place correctly or lost the bolts entirely) simply so it wouldn’t break more… Pictures are from the second oil change, first time was worse "There's an old saying in Tennessee—I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee—that says, 'Fool me once, shame on... shame on you.' Had a great experience getting my safety inspection. As a new resident to Hawaii I wasn’t completely sure what to expect and how to go about the process of getting my plates and safety inspection, but this place made it extremely easy. Damon was able to explain the whole process clearly and concisely. The inspection was quick professional and efficient and I was in and out with no hassle. Moving to a new state and settling in can be very stressful but thankful for Damon’s help in making this part of settling in smooth and easy.
