Brought the challenger for a quick tire fix as a screw pierced my front right tire. It was 440pm on a saturday and I needed the tire patched up before my road trip the following morning, called the garage and was immediately told to come in. Be Careful they will rip you off! I spent several thousand dollars at this shop over the past year when I was new to town and couldn’t find a good shop, but I always knew they were screwing me. I finally found an honest shop and had some work done on my vehicle last week, so I asked Green Drop for a quote on the same work to compare. The work I had done at the other shop only cost me $234, but Green Drop quoted me at almost $1100!! I understand prices are different at different shops and there’s different quality parts and workmanship, but over 4x the price is just egregious and indefensible. I was very happy with the workmanship and quality of the parts at the other shop btw! 2 stars because the employees here are really nice and I know they aren’t the ones setting the prices.

Severely overpriced. Was quoted 3700 dollars for a clutch and flywheel. And another 900 for a set of tires. Luckily was able to shop around and get this service for less than half of the quoted cost. Always get a second opinion!

I have nothing but good things to say about the fine folks at Green Drop Garage. I've been taking my truck there for over a decade. They are kind, professional, and timely. One thing they do great is communicate to folks. I am not particularly knowledgable when it comes to auto repair. They do such a great job explaining the problems - and, just as importantly, the differences between things that need to get fixed right now as opposed to things that can wait. They will never pressure you to get a repair that you don't actually need.

Took my car in for an issue with the radiator. They quoted an insanely unreasonable amount to fix the radiator which I declined. They returned my car to me with a broken heater and A/C system which had been working when I dropped it off. Really incredible mechanic to return a car with more issues than you brought it in with.

First, I went to the St Johns location for a DEQ test because its 2 blocks from my home. I called ahead and was told they did DEQ tests there. Alas, that location did not actually have the equipment to do so. But the young nan at the counter called another location and told us the location on Hawthorne and NE 9th could do our test. We went and after a short wait we got in and out and the service was great. 5 stars! Free stumptown coffee and polar water!! Also received after visit text accompanied by a pic of a very cute doggo wearing a Green Drop Garage T-shirt.

After a lot of confusion about the issues with my car and having to bring it back in a few times, they were able to figure out the source of the noise and bumpiness coming from my car. Two other shops were unable to identify the source of the noise and bumpiness coming from my car. They were very thorough and took care to keep me in the loop throughout the whole process. I spent about 2 months looking for a reliable used vehicle, for an extensive road trip. I was being very thorough and wanted to get a pre-purchase inspection. Early on I brought in a Prius, but after investigating the "new" hybrid battery receipt and calling the company that did the work, they said there was no record of that in their system. So they helped me tell the seller that they didn't think it was a good idea for me to buy the car. This is a long-winded review, but eventually they did do a an inspection on another Prius, which I bought and am very happy with! So, many, many thanks to Green Drop Garage for being a stand-up, reputable business!

I had a follow-up appointment for My Mini Cooper at Green Drop Vancouver, related to an oil leak. I really appreciated that the mechanic acknowledged that the repair was beyond his abilities. GDV called me to get ok to take the Mini to another GD mechanic who had the experience. I said yes, and it was ready for pick-up the next day as promised. And they did not do an expensive assessment when they realized instead that the problem was that I needed a new battery. They continue to exhibit integrity, transparency and overall a solid business model.

Ohh my goodness!! Literally best shop around! I just moved here and was having problems with my car so I took it to the central location about two months ago! Cody was very professional and helped me out so much! The mechanics did such a great job checking everything and letting me understand what was wrong with my car! They tried to charge double the actual price on repairs they weren’t even sure would fix the problem I was having. Took my car to another mechanic, who didn’t charge a $118 fee to look at the car, found the problem, and fixed it for a half the price they were charging. I recommend going anywhere else. And if you have already come here, and are looking at the reviews after seeing your invoice and wondering if something is off, you are correct. Also when I called to ask about the pricing on everything, to see if I was in the wrong, the technician couldn't explain any of the prices, basically saying "If you don't want the service you don't have to pay." Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else.
