Man let me tell you… I just left Half Price Auto and Montana & Pablo held it DOWN. Pulled up to get my brakes flushed thinking I’d be stuck there all day nope. These dudes moved like a well-oiled machine. In and out in under 30 minutes, no stress, no games. They treated me like family, broke everything down in a way that made sense, and made sure my ride was good before I pulled off. That’s the type of service you don’t get everywhere. Real ones, real work, real fast. If you need your car right, go holla at Montana and Pablo. They the MVPs over there, no question.

I bought a car from a slimy salesman that had a Ford warranty issue outside of the warranty parameters, so Ford wouldn’t cover the repairs. After I won my lawsuit, I found Half Price Auto Repair. They were very responsive via phone and gave me an estimated quote. They didn’t take it personally when I told them I was shopping around for quotes and said they’d be available for questions. I did end up going with Half Price as they were the most responsive and had the most reasonable price. Even though some unexpected issues came up, the prices remained reasonable. They were honest with me about needing new tires but didn’t pressure me to buy 4 immediately since it was out of my budget. And they were happy to replace the other two tires a few weeks after the initial repairs to the engine. I had some issues with a noise when I was on the highway shortly after and they took a look and reattached the cover plate at no charge. Got me in and out quickly with little hassle. I have come back for issues unrelated to the engine and will continue to do so, even tho I moved. Their guys are nice and don’t talk down to women about repairs; they actually made me feel more comfortable about discussing my automotive concerns. Half Price Auto Repair treats their customers well and I’d recommend them to anyone who asked.

I came here about a month ago to get my front breaks and rotors done and they did amazing. I had a lot of work to get done on my car so they did a great job working with me on the price too. Matt texted me a 15% deal to get the timing done and water pump replaced and they had me out the same day with my car.

Full engine replacement in 3 weeks. No hidden fees, but no one is doing a job like this cheaply. Great receptionist. Not sure if the power steering was impacted or what, because it's a bit harder to turn now. EDIT: Just had to drive a bit. Everything works fine now.

I like seem honestly pretty impressed with the experience here. I did have a experience in Phoenix prior that kind of detoured me for wanting to work with half price auto repair, but Montana the desk was awesome it was really helpful made it really easy and your mechanics working on it were super fast I was impressed I was literally in and out within an hour with no appointment scheduled for a break flush. Highly recommend work with them!

SO they bought the shop that was rebuilding my engine. These guys didnt get any paperwork for the cars at the shop that they were assuming. I had nothing but issues all last year with my truck check engine lights stalling the works. These guys were very reluctant to honor the warranty assumed from buying the business. Now ill be the first to admit that im not sure of all the details. But they kept my truck for 3 weeks just to check the timing and charge me 250 for a gasket an oil change when they where trying to diagnose the stalling issue from them putting it back together. I cant trust these guys. Ohh and apparently it was the same tech that was rebuilding my truck too. I took it to ford a few times because ford honored their parts warranty and redid my entire timing system for free because the old shop owner got me the receipts. But these guys didnt try to help at all. I finally just took it over to Tempe Auto repair on southern and mill by the tracks. they diagnosed it in 4 hours and recommended a shop that did it for half their price and gave me some recommended repairs.

The moment I came into the shop Matt was very helpful and was very confident that Jake can fix anything. My stress went down and I am super happy that I brought it into this shop for an amazing price! Other shops quoted me 500 just for a diagnosis including a 2nd key fee because I only have 1 key. Great atmosphere and great guys that will not be a typical mechanic shop where they just brush you off and make you feel like a dumbass. They listen to everything I said and are very happy to help my situation! I cannot recommend this place enough for the great experience!

The waiting room is very nice and comfortable, and they got the job done, but the SERVICE TOTALLY SUCKS! I went there to get my oil changed since it was close by, thinking it would be a quick and easy stop. NOPE! They said it couldn’t be done immediately and had me make an appointment for it, which I’ve never had to do for an oil change, but I really didn’t mind. So then I came back at the appointment time, and it took them over a half hour to change the oil! I’ve never had it take more than just a few minutes at any other auto shop location in the area. I asked the front desk guy for pricing beforehand, and he told me $60, which ended up being $80 after the service and transaction fees that I wasn’t informed of when I asked originally. The waiting room is tidy, but the front desk guy was watching tiktok auctions loudly on his phone & criticizing the prices of the items. It didn’t make the time go by any faster. Just go anywhere else.
