It’s hard trying to navigate the auto world as woman with very little knowledge of how things work. Perry and his staff always make sure to explain to me what’s wrong and what it means to the overall car.. he’s never been wrong. HEM is reasonable and they make every attempt to work with you if you work with them. I won’t take my car anywhere else unless I have no other options.

If you are looking for an honest mechanic there’s only two that exist in the St. Louis metro area. Hayes is one of them. They are upfront about availability, price, customer education, and most importantly price. My last visit was an electrical issue on a 2008 GMC 5500, and my invoice was a total of $32.00!! I've had my vehicle worked on here on two separate occasions and each occasion they were professional and incredibly honest. I'm a teacher that's new to the area and didn't know many businesses. I was quoted 450 dollars from a dealer, Hayes repaired for 150. Recently, I was quoted for 700 dollars to pass my safety test, Hayes did it for 200. If you're looking for the place to get honest work done on your car, go to Hayes!!

I've brought a couple vehicles here to get a safety and emissions but everytime I'm here I always hear people either dropping vehicles off or picking them up from various services. This business has serviced my car for 18 yrs. Yes it's old. But recently they has done shabby repairs on my vehicle. I had to take my car back twice because of sloppy work only to have the owner tell me "you have an old car:" It's a 2004. He took payment from me knowing my car was NOT FIXED properly. Because of this I was able to find mechanics that cared and did the job right. My car has never run so smoothly and with power. Thank you Columbia Auto Service.

I took my viechal there for oil change and filter change my viechal had no lights on when they got done check engine light oil after having it towed to a shop wrong filter was placed on my viechal called the store and was hung up on repeatedly never again this is not how you do people.
