I was traveling from out of town and discovered I had a nail in my tire. I stopped at Hendricks Toyota on Rivers Avenue, North Charleston. I was promptly greeted by Service Tech., Collin Long. He was such a polite, young man and quickly helped me through the initial process. I thought I was going to have to buy a new tire, but after checking the tire, Collin said the nail hadn’t penetrated the inner tire, and was only surface, so I didn’t need a new tire. I was so appreciative because any other Dealership may have charged me for a new tire ($350). I greatly appreciated his honestly and integrity, because there was no charge! It was refreshing to experience such wonderful customer service, especially in today’s world. I highly recommend Hendricks Toyota. Thank you, Collin!

I am very unsatisfied with my experience at Rick Hendrick Toyota of North Charleston. At the end of 2022 I bought a 2023 Toyota tundra. As the process went on, they told me that my projected payment was going to be around 850 to 900. Then as the process continued they worked my payment all the way up to 1280 a month. This I was all unaware of until I was in a room where I felt obligated to make the deal. Initially, I told them I wanted a truck no more than And they ended up selling me for nearly 70,000. Perhaps I was arrogant or maybe ignorant it but I feel completely taken advantage of. Not only that from the moment I drove this truck off of the lot The brakes have been squeaking. I have had some odd 10 service calls based on just the brakes which have not been fixed. They did nothing to help me and insisted that I buy new brakes when they waited until they needed replacement. Not shortly after the recall, came out on the brakes. All the while they had a fix but told me that they were not available. Lastly, I feel like their service techs are negligent As there have been times where my fluids weren’t replaced (wiper), and my mileage sticker was not changed. All the while I was in for topping fluids and an oil change. Honestly, I hope anyone who reads this takes my word for it because I was warned and didn’t listen just to have it all done to me

Bought this vehicle brand new off the lot sales person told me this “decal package” protected the paint and years later this decal is disintegrating and the dealership is saying it’s not under warranty. I don’t understand why the dealership would put something like this on their vehicles and once it’s proven to not work, they don’t care to fix it. Not honest sales people that lie about warranties.

I was not going to make it by closing. I called with the intent to pay over the phone and arrange an after hours pickup. I was told “all service representatives were busy but I’ve given your information to one of them (service representatives) and they’ll call you right back to take payment and arrange for pickup.” I never received a call. I now do not have the family minivan with the car seats for the kids for the entire weekend.

I came to this dealership service center just requesting a diagnostic for a steering noise I was hearing coming from my steering wheel. They looked at my van and call me saying they wont do a paid diagnostic only because I have aftermarket parts on my vehicle and said the only way they would diagnosis the noise is if I pay them over 5000 dollars to replace new aftermarket parts back to oem by them. I guess dealers will do anything to try and take all your money now if they are turning down paying customers for service only because they wont pay them over 5 grand to replace brand new parts that dont need replacing.

I tried to order spare parts here through the official website. I placed the order on Monday, but on Tuesday I received a notification that my order was cancelled because I did not indicate the VIN of my car, although this was not required, otherwise I would not have been able to place my order. Also, the employee could have simply contacted me to clarify the VIN, but instead he decided to simply cancel my order. After receiving the notification, I immediately re-ordered, indicated the VIN of my car and duplicated the VIN by email to the employee with a request not to cancel my order. On Thursday I received another email that my order was cancelled because some parts were out of stock. My order had about 20 items in it and I believe the employee could have contacted me and we would have edited my order together. But instead he decided to just cancel it again. After that I sent an email to the employee asking to contact me. But he did not answer me even to the first email I sent him on Tuesday. I called the number listed in the email twice but no one answered. When I managed to get through the third time, the employee told me that he was busy and would call me back later, but he did not call back. After that I decided to order my parts from the dealer in Beaufort and immediately received an email that they had all the parts in stock except one, which would delay my delivery for several days. It seems that this was the reason why my order was cancelled from the dealer in Charleston. In general, if you need to buy parts, do not contact this dealer, but go straight to the dealer in Beaufort. Today is Saturday and I still haven't received a refund even for the first order that was cancelled by them on Tuesday.
