I drive 45min to go to Hensley Auto because how often do you find a real repair place that you can trust. I got a new to me used truck and took it into Kyle and he went over it from tow hook to hitch. It has a lift and Kyle knows his way around the 4x4 street truck as well as a rock rig. He found a few things and put a list of what needs to be done now for safety as well as what can wait but needs to be watched. They treat you like a person to show you what teh cost is and why. I am done with the big repair places and having some service writer try to up sell me just to make him more money. I say keep the money local and support the local business.

I’ve never had customer service and appreciation like I get at Hensleys. I feel proud to take any of my vehicles here. It doesn’t feel like a shop, it feels more like a friend or family member helping out. Very honest and the best prices I’ve ever seen. I’ve even had comments at events when they see the HCOR sticker on the side- comments like “Hensley Hu? Must be a well built machine if he’s worked on your rig”. That statement couldn’t be more true. Things happen and parts break but kyles work and his advise has never left me stranded or disappointed.

Hensley Auto Repair is one of the best, affordable, and reliable automotive repair shop out there! My ex was looking around for a shop to replace her catalytic converter and when she reported back to me the cost, I just felt she was being charged too high and then I didn't trust these places. I pushed her so hard to keep looking and don't settle with the first place. She must have looked around dozens of automotive places until she found this company and I felt much more comfortable. Not only were the parts and labour a fraction of what the other places charged, they were aftermarket and performance parts (you can choose to do stock parts as well, but stock is never good in general). She ended up with a pure cast iron catalytic converter for her Camry '04 and it drove so much better and had a throatier exhaust! Not only did I feel her car drive much better and safer, I felt that this company is an extremely trustworthy place. Later on, I needed new brakes and rotors for my Altima '13 and I was a little bit hesitant at first since I am very picky when it comes to my stuff and my car is my baby that I love so much. Since I previously trusted this company, I decided to go here and because the dealorship recommended something very stupid and that was against what I would do and would charge me so much to do. What I did not realize is I actually had a choice with what parts I am allowed to have installed in my car (rather than 1 option at the dealorship). I had come there with parts I ordered online that another place told me are "performance" in fear of not knowing that I could have aftermarket performance parts ordered and installed by an automative shop. What I failed to realize is that the parts I ordered were garbage and that Hensley Auto can order parts same day and recommend you different lines and explain each line to you. I went with the medium to highend performance ones and there is a noticable difference compared to stock. After about 6 months the front brakes and rotors that Hensley Auto Repair recommended are still almost new and they allow for some premium braking, while the rear ones that another shop recommended are now metal to metal. Later on, I needed new front struts and strut mounts as well as an AC that hasn't been functioning for about 2 years. Another shop diagnosed everything elsewhere when they attempted an alignment and they wanted to put stock parts on it and charge me very absurd prices. I took my diagnostic paperwork to Hensley Auto and they gave me a few different options where all of them were a fraction of what the other places were charging. I went with the premium line again. The AC works as if I just drove it off of the lot and feels like it gets colder even quicker (yes, AC's do work in over 120 degree weather just as good as it being 50 outside)! The struts felt like they had to be broken in, but after about a month of driving it they have broken in, they handle extremely well and better than the stock ones. I have less bounce when driving on roads and I am able to maneuver my car much better and the overall handling of my car is much better! In fact, I am impressed with all these upgrades and what my car can do now vs what it did with stock parts! My car drives even more safer than it already is. I am so grateful to be known of this amazing gem! I feel like I get taken care of and looked after at this automotive shop. Thank you Hensley Auto for who you are, who you stand for, for not only saving my life, but making my life enjoyable when I drive my car.
