I had Excellent experience with this shop and can’t recommend them enough. I brought in my 2018Cadillac XT5 After another garage told me I needed the thermostat replacement and quoted me an extremely high price This shop took the time to run proper diagnostics and was completely honest with me. They explained that my thermostat did not need to be replaced at all saving me a significant and unnecessary expense. They could’ve easily charged me for work that wasn’t needed, but they didn’t. it’s rare to find an automotive shop that is this transparent, trustworthy, and customer focused. I truly appreciate their integrity and professionalism and will absolutely return for future service. Highly recommend.

I had such a great experience at Hi Tech Automotive. I went in for an oil change and a new set of tires, and from start to finish everything was smooth and stress-free. They did a full inspection, kept me in the loop, and actually took the time to explain things in a way that made sense, which I really appreciated. Tom and Henry were awesome with communication and made sure I knew what was going on the whole time. When I came to pick up my car, Perry (one of the owners) was genuinely amazing! My Mazda recently had a very random and mysterious code pop up that needed a bit more investigation than I could provide. Hi Tech came highly recommended, so I stopped by and talked to Tom to discuss getting a diagnosis completed at the very least. He was super helpful and accommodating and was able to get my car in within two days — and they were able to diagnose the issue + make the repair at a very reasonable price. In addition to being very accommodating and reasonably priced, I was beyond impressed at how thorough their inspection was and how well they communicated. I would typically take my car to the dealership for all of its service, and I would argue that the level of detail and attention that was provided to me and my vehicle by Hi Tech was significantly higher than what I would have received. I will also say that as a woman, talking to mechanics can be a bit of, shall I say, an "experience" — often feeling taken advantage of or ignored or not taken seriously. I felt the opposite at Hi Tech. Even though I am semi-literate in cars because of my own background, I felt very comfortable and confident talking to both Henry and Tom, and not at all intimidated by the process. That is a big win, in my opinion. I've already recommended Hi Tech to a handful of people, and I will continue to take my car here for service moving forward. Big thanks to everyone at Hi Tech!

I beleive the tech here sabotoged my car. The alternator ground was disconnected. I had my car in for a smog check. NO ONE has been under the hood of my car but me and them. How did it get like this? If they didnt sabatoge it then the tech missed it during inspection. Although wires dont just fall off. I cant believe i out 50k miles on the car with it like that. It cost me 1200$ to fix and a night stranded sleeping in the car while i was traveling. Never again. Cant trust anybody nowdays. I would also like to note that i remember sitting there that day and reciev8ng a dirty look from the tech. I thought what is his problem he doesnt like my old car? Maybe he looks at eveyone like that. Whatever. Overpriced shop anyway. Tons of people in reno who can work on my cqr from now on. Everytime i have come here tge staf seems stressed and it is not fun. Maybe the owner is too greedy. Tired of it. Let em rot. Not getting My money ever again.

When I arrived, I was greeted by Charlie, the shop supervisor, who was professional and efficient in handling my information. The team performed a full inspection and provided several tire options without ever trying to upsell me. Tom, the service manager, reviewed everything with me beforehand and gave me an exact quote down to the dollar before any work was done. While waiting, I noticed how clean and well-organized the shop was, and every employee I encountered was professional and courteous. I also spoke with a few other customers who had nothing but positive things to say. They mentioned they've been repeat customers for years and wouldn't take their vehicles anywhere else. Once my service was complete, my financial information was handled discreetly, my vehicle was clean, and everything was completed in a timely manner. High-Tech Automotive exceeded my expectations in every way. I will definitely be returning for all of my automotive needs and would confidently recommend them to anyone.
