Probably one of the worst auto shops I have been to. I took my car there because it was having battery issue, it won't start. The battery was pretty new, which was replaced 1 year ago, but started to have problems. I took it to the battery shop and had it looked, there was no problem with the battery. So I took the car to this auto shop on a Friday, I wanted to get it fixed Saturday so that it won't affect my schedule at work on Monday. I told the guy I work at the VA hospital as a provider and I didn't want to cancel any of the veterans' appointments while I mentioned that I was also a veteran. He said come back on Saturday morning, and they will be able to fix it. I took it next morning, and was told that they would need the whole day to diagnose and fix. I said it's okay, and they could change the oil while they are checking on the starting issue. After waiting 1.5 hours, they told me that it is a starter issue and it would cost me $900. I was skeptical but I trusted the professional. Then I was told to come back before they close to pick up the car. I didn't get a phone call about the work and I went back at 3:30 but it wasn't done until 4:30. If they couldn't complete it on time, they could have given me a phone call. Long story short, $900 new starter didn't fix the starting problem. My car didn't start on Monday, and I called the VA clinic that I wouldn't be able to go to work on time. I took the car back to the auto shop. There were different staff on Monday, who were nice at least. They said they will take another look. Later they told me they replaced the battery and cleaned the battery cables, that took care of the problem so far. That's why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. I spent over $1000 including the starter replacement and engine oil change. They told me that veterans get 10% discount but I didn't get the discount on Saturday, and they would apply it next visit. OK I appreciate the offer but I already spent over $1000 for something that wasn't even the problem. And the staff on Saturday didn't offer the 10% discount even when my car has Veteran plate, my ID has veteran status, and I personally told him I was a veteran. Very interesting...

Meineke at 2825 Kietzke lane in Reno NV I went in for a free break Inspection left feeling deceived, dismissed and disrespected. They never asked for my lug key, which I had in my purse. So they couldn't have removed my wheels to inspect the brake pads or rotors Properly They did not answer any of my questions like, how much pad is left. Can you see the ceramic pads I previously had on there ? Can you tell me the shape of my rotors? How much pad is left on the front and back ? Nothing no questions answered, they gave me a quote though From $1200 to $1300 and told me they don't know exactly how much more it could cost until they get in there and start working on the vehicle. But don't worry, we'll take care of you.instead of doing the inspection, they opened my hood and charged me for an air filter. Facts were not explained. No one showed me measurements of my rotors, or how much was left on my brake pads They just kept me waiting like a fool. They took my car for a test drive for I don't know how long after the inspection which made no sense. Now my car is shaking at high speeds, something it never did before. I felt like I was treated like a joke. No transparency, no respect and no real inspection. I will never return and I urge others to be cautious....!

Took my pickup in for an alignment issue. Was quoted nearly 10 thousand dollars worth of work for "front end damage". Paid cash in full up front, waited weeks to be finished then Drove it home and it was still out of alignment. Bought new tires hoping it was that, and discount tire said it was completely out of alignment. Told meineke that and they said having the new tires put on took it out of alignment. They offered to redo the alignment anyway but canceled when I showed up for the appointment. I'll change my review if it gets resolved.
