Most transparent dealer when it comes to servicing! Tried to fix my window at another nearby Honda that would not go up all the way or be too slow and I went through warranty and they tried to blame me for tints and charged me almost $300 for them to "diagnose" and not even fix it. When here straight to the point and fixed it no charge, no questions. Never going back to the other Honda.

I want to melt Serramonte Honda know that Gerald and Jewith (Service Advisors) should be recognized for their professionalism and customer service abilities. Because of them I will let others know to buy their vehicles and have their car services done at Serramonte Honda. It’s nice to go to a dealership and have guys like that give you excellent service. Seems as though they (service technicians), try to only prove there isn’t an issue. So now I have to take more time out my life… just to record a video of the problem to prove to Honda… to make them believe there’s an issue. But Jerald the person who checked me in for my appointment was very helpful and nice. He was the only pleasant part of the experience. He went above and beyond to try and get me the help I needed.

I've been a loyal customer at this service center for years, and overall, I've had positive experiences. They've taken care of my brake changes, regular maintenance, and other repairs, while delivering quality work. However, my recent visits have left me frustrated. Today, I went in for an oil change and mentioned in my online appointment notes that I had a coupon. When I arrived, I was charged for an A1 service, which was not what I scheduled. I scheduled an oil change only. There is a price difference. The additional cost seemed to come from a tire rotation, which I typically get done for free at my tire shop. I pointed this out, but the service rep ignored my concern. This is not the first time I've felt brushed off by the service rep I worked with today. I don't know if they recieve commission on their sales. If this is a tactic to make an income, it's not cool. In fact, it's predatory. It feels like they've started upselling and overcharging, which really undermines the trust I had in them. After today's experience, I'm seriously reconsidering my loyalty to this service center. It's a shame because I've been a customer for so long, I don't think I'll be returning.

My experience this time was amazing! Chris Doran was our sales associate and he was very pleasant to work with. He was friendly and made us feel taken care of! They are lucky to have him! He explained everything clearly and we didn’t feel like he was pressuring us into other things that we did not need. Overall great service and a great experience!

They seemed professional and courteous. I waited inside for my alignment and enjoyed coffee. The alignment was done fast and felt great driving home. The only problem was Honda did a multipoint test no charge and on my text I received they said my brake fluid and transmission fluid was critical and suggested I need to change it since it was deemed critical. There was a couple other problems i the total price Honda suggested was about 1200.00. The problem is that I had my car serviced at 100,000 miles and had a major tine up , valve job and all fluids changed three days before. My mechanic who I eve known for 15 years said to have my car aligned since they don’t do that at his shop. This really upset me since I never write reviews but since Honda sent this text I’m writing about it. I was very upset with Honda

I came for routine Service B for my Honda CRV and Jose was my service advisor. He was happy to answer any questions I had and was overall very professional. Prior to coming in, the automated phone service for phone appointments was a robot that is designed to take you in circles & then hang up on you . Despite Honda Serramonte being closed when I called on Sunday, the automated system automatically transfers you to a ‘live person’ if you require more than 1 attempt to find a suitable time with their scheduling feature. Then, it hangs up on you because the office is closed and you have to start all over. Even though they had availability all day (as I saw on their website shortly after) their system would suggest wildly different times than what you requested. If you tried again, the automated message would suddenly start saying Malform Jason! Malform Jason! Malform Jason! And then hang up on you. I ended up booking myself an appointment through the website with no issues. Despite all this mess, the service itself seemed straightforward. Do note that there are no courtesy washes anymore. (1) they now charge a credit card service fee %, (2) the price quote for routine services does not include ‘disposal fees’ so the total price ends up being higher, and (3) they no longer have courtesy wash. . . Despite all this, Jose ended up making the experience 5-stars but that does not mean management should ignore fixing the automated system & small unexpected / fine print fees. Next time I come in, I will attempt to use the automated phone system again and see if management has addressed the issue based on customer feedback. Last but not least, the multi point check should either be printed in color or using a consistent (left to right) condition-grading system in order for customers to be able to interpret the report. Without this, it looks like the right (front and rear) tires and brakes are in critical condition. Luckily, Jose walked me through it to ensure no confusion. Again, management should address these things and set the service team up for success so they can have more happy customers and more business.

Mark and Darrell did a get job helping me out with a starting issue with my ‘12 Civic. Mark offered to check my battery and when the battery tested fine but my concern with the car was still there he passed me to Darrell to further assist me since he would be off the following day. Darrell was awesome and I left my car overnight and found out the starter needed replacement. They took care of me and I appreciated that especially since it was an issue that all of a sudden occurred. Thanks again👍🏼

Service employee that checked me in was nice and prompt. He quoted me the time my service will be done and I asked for a courtesy wash and he said he was going to do it. I thanked him and went on my way. The service was done and completed in a timely manner as he quoted, he updated that my car was done via Text. I arrived to the service desk and I was surprised that they charge 3% surcharge if I used my credit card. I usually use my credit card for big amount of purchases because well.. inflation. So that definitely did not make my day. After paying I waited for my car just to find out that it wasn't washed. Perfect. I didn't even bother to ask why it wasn't washed because it was already busy at the time of pickup, but I'm just annoyed that if you're going to say you're going to do it even if its a simple wash.. please do it.

Called for maintenance service early in the morning on Oct. 17, 2025. The response was impressive recognizing me from my phone number. Soon I felt it was to the point (AI guided?) for clarifying type of service needed (Regular Service), and the options of 3 specific times available for me for the very same day I called. I made my selection and confirmed. Over and done. I was there in the mid afternoon and Jose, the Service Coordinator did his part to what was needed my car and made the estimate that I approved. The work was done in about 2 hours and 15 minutes. Friendly and courteous Serramonte Honda staff makes one feel at home. I relaxed at Customer Center, walked around checking the displayed autos and read sipping my coffee until the work was done and I paid the bill. I had a pleasant afternoon while all the work had been planned by the impressively service oriented friendly Honda staff handled it all in the same day I called for servicing my car. Receiving good and timely service efficiently in a friendly and courteous manner is something special, yet quite normal at the Serramonte Honda Dealership in Colma, CA. Thank you all!

I strongly recommend avoiding this Honda service center. My left front tire blew out and my car was towed here for a replacement. I was charged almost $500. Less than 24 hours later, the tire was leaking air again. I took the car to another repair shop for a second opinion. They found that the valve stem cracked and the dealership service center put the wheel weight all over the barrel, which was not right and caused the leak and vibration. The issue was fixed properly for just $35. What’s even more frustrating is that during my visit, they also tried to upsell me on replacing additional parts that were not urgent. It’s hard to trust recommendations when they couldn’t even install a tire correctly. Dealership pricing should come with professional, careful work. Instead, I paid a premium and had to fix their mistake somewhere else. Save your time and money and consider other options.
