2016 XC60: Salesman was good, finance forced a useless warranty down my throat. car has had 8k miles put on since i bought it and im replacing the engine at 105k after doing timing belt at 100k. Had to do pads and rotor all the way around to pass inspection. They will not provide service history on the car. Loved Volvo, but they let a place like this represent their brand, puts a bad taste in your mouth.

If I could give a negative 5 stars, I would. Here is the story: There was an extended warranty placed on my Mercedes Benz due to an issue with the camshaft adjusters. Long story short, the cost for the repair is $5000. The car exhibits signs that this issue is occurring, signs I did not recognize. When I brought my Benz in for a routine oil service several months ago, it was exhibiting the symptoms of this issue. I am not trained to recognize them, but now that I know what they are, it is evident. They serviced the vehicle and ignored the signs of this issue, which are OBVIOUS, and should be recognized by any trainee tech at Huber Mercedes Benz dealership. They billed me and sent me home with a vehicle exhibiting signs of an issue that could lead to catastrophic engine failure if left unaddressed. I had the vehicle appraised recently, thinking of trading up. The issue was identified...and I was horrified. Turns out Mercedes Benz extended a warranty to fix this issue, admission the issue exists, an extended warranty which expired in February of 2022. It is now May 2023. This dealership and Mercedes Benz USA KNOW it is an endemic issue with this engine. I was informed they notified all owners of record via mail prior to expiration of the extended warranty. I am an owner of record and never received anything about this in the mail and I watch for such. Point being, Huber Mercedes Benz failed to recognize this issue, or worse, ignored it and allowed me to drive a malfunctioning vehicle risking catastrophic engine failure and MY safety. I had it diagnosed at their competitor, then called them to see if it would be covered by warranty. Huber Mercedes Benz stated they could not know based on another shops diagnoses ( they would have to make their own) and that this issue WAS "COVERED UNDER WARRANTY". (LIE) I then drove it to this dealership expecting them to fix the issue, under warranty once they confirmed the diagnoses. Instead, they USED THE DIAGNOSIS FROM THEIR COMPETITOR, which they said they could not do, informed me it WAS NOT covered under warranty and presented me with an estimate of $4900. I was told to call the 1-800-your-screwed number at Mercedes Benz USA, which I did. I was summarily dismissed by a call center person who refused to accept the fact that this issue is ripe for a class action lawsuit being prepared in California and that it certainly would be in their best interest to FIX MY CAR AND MAKE ME GO AWAY. Fun fact: I learned this evening from the general manager at another local dealership that the service department at Huber Mercedes Benz is run ON A COMMISSION BASIS. No wonder I got baited and hooked into bringing my car back in! If you have read all this- thanks. Just don't give these people your money- go elsewhere. You will thank me in the end. AVOID HUBER MERCEDES BENZ of Fredericksburg, Virginia AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

We recently bought a certified pre-owned Mercedes-Benz. “Teddy” Parker was our sales associate. He was engaging, patient and extremely professional. Based off of my experience at Huber Mercedes Benz, I am completely confused as to why anyone would rate less than 5 stars. My wife asked for a new car for Christmas and because she’s literally been my guardian Angel, why not a Mercedes? Adam was my salesman, top notch, wasn’t trying to play any back and forth games. He knows the vehicles very well, is a true professional and had the high standards you would expect from MB. Mickey who was our finance manager worked for hours to make me get what I wanted out of the deal!! Later Valerie stepped in to help seal the deal with the banks! Phenomenal team at Huber Mercedes Benz and little did they know how extremely happy they made our family and my wife’s Christmas exceptional!! 10 stars in my book!!!

I cannot say enough about the awesome experience I had at Mercedes Benz of Fredericksburg! First, my sales person, Teddy Parker, was friendly, thorough and professional. No pressure tactics, nothing but listening intently to my needs. I was out of there in no time and not having to spend all day in the dealership was a pleasant surprise. My trade-in was fairly appraised and I couldn't be happier. Also, kudos to Whitney in Finance --when I came to pick up my car she informed me that she got an even lower APR. The fact that she kept working to get me a better rate even after the deal had been pretty much sealed is a testament to the good people that work there!

Bought a pre-owned vehicle from Huber at the Mercedes Fredericksburg location. I can't say enough about their customer service. Cameron was our sales rep and he went to bat for us to get us the deal we were looking for. They treated us like we bought a Benz, even though it was a lowly Fiat with miles on it, including having it shipped to our home in Richmond. They went above and beyond and didn't have to. Compliments to Cameron and his sales manager for being true professionals. When we upgrade my wife's car, we know who to go to.

My husband and I have had the most incredible experience at Huber Motor Cars when purchasing our Mercedes. The sales team (especially Ryan and Nick) have been extremely helpful in helping us find a SUV with the safety features we wanted. Brian in service never made me wait to help with servicing my car. Although each person worked in a specific department, the service was fluid. They worked as a team. At no point did I feel I was getting the "hard sell" from any associate. This is my 3rd Volvo, and while I feel loyal to my local dealership, I have to say, Huber has raised the bar for excellence. While out of town in rural Virginia over Thanksgiving weekend, my 3-year old, reliable car broke down, and had to be towed to the nearest dealership in the middle of the night. It was very stressful for me, and this dealership really stepped up! Everyone was courteous, helpful, and flexible. Even though I didn't buy the car there, they supplied a loaner, which was a life saver, and got me out of a tough spot. They kept me informed, fixed it quickly, and even researched my warranty, which ended up covering the cost. My car came back fixed, and clean! On top of everything, the facility there is really quite remarkable. Huge, welcoming, and clean, and there's a garage to pull in/out of. What a luxury, since it was pouring rain, at the time. Thank you, to everyone who played a part in turning a bad car experience, into a good people experience. Based on this experience, I will seriously consider making the trip to Fredericksburg to buy my next one! Thank you, and kudos to Huber Motor Cars, for going the extra mile.

We purchased a 2020 Volvo S60 yesterday from Jake. Huber was our first stop and we were clear with Jake that we had other cars on our list that we were going to see before we made a decision. He answered all of our questions, let us test drive a couple vehicles, gave us his card and didn’t hassle us on our way out. After we saw the other vehicles we wanted to see we decided to get the Volvo. I called on my way back and he had already worked out all the numbers while I was shopping around. We talked for a bit while I waited to go back to finance. He walked me through the warranty, the features of the car, etc. He was very helpful. As far as the buying process, I was offered a very fair price for my trade and we did very little haggling before I felt good with the out the door price. It was very transparent and very low-pressure. Finance did try to convince me to go for a longer term but was not nearly as pushy as other dealers I have worked with. Overall, it was one of the better car buying experiences I have had. I would definitely buy from Huber again and I would also work with Jake again.

We spoke to Mercedes in sales department and her positive welcoming attitude made us drive two hours to see a car we wanted to buy. Not only she got us a great deal on the car we purchased, they gave us great value for our trade in, process was so smooth and transparent we didn't even know when the financing and other legalities were taken care of, everyone at the dealership was very helpful, never had such an easy and nice experience of buying a car. I do NOT recommend Buying or servicing your car here. On Saturday 12/17, I purchased a GL450 which was in service to sale. Per the work order, it needed $4,000 worth of mechanical repairs which was fine. On Monday 12/19, they called to let me know my new truck was ready. I was shocked that they completed $4K worth of mechanic work so quickly. When I went to pick up the truck, it had a crack in the windshield, which they promised to fix. When I got home, I smelled something burning and the steering wheel was knocking. Additionally, the service light appeared. It needed “service A.” The service A was listed on the mechanical work order as one of the items that needed to be addressed. I took the truck back to the service department that evening. I received a call from service to inform me that they found two more leaks. (Not sure how that was missed) Then the following day, service called me again to tell me the knocking was coming from the strut which was $1,995 to replace. Remind you I only had the car 1 day and they wanted me to pay for it. At this point I didn’t feel like I should have to pay for any repairs when I was sold the car this way. The salesperson, sales manager and general sales manager were very rude and unprofessional. I called several times and did not receive any call back. I had to go up to the dealership to handle everything . I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years. I’m so disappointed as to how I was treated. This was a large investment and this truck had too many issues so I just wanted out of this sale. I won’t even get into the conflicting and false information I was given by different people at this store. No apologies or we can help you in the future,NOTHING…DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE .Please get a SECOND OPINION or you will be sorry for life.

Bought a used vehicle from out of state. They had the one we liked so we took a risk. Worked with Devon Who did a really fantastic job. The car we were buying was returned from a lease. It had some dents, curb, rash, and other minor issues. They did a terrific job of highlighting these things and made sure that everything was corrected before we took delivery of the vehicle. Devon walked us through the out-of-state line process, timing, cost, etc. Great job communicating with us on the way, and overall just gave us the feeling that this dealership acts with integrity. We took delivery of the vehicle about 30 days ago. Everything is perfect as expected. We had such a negative experience with other local dealers on our journey that I think I might actually keep going back to this dealership even though they are three states away because this experience was so smooth. Highly recommend Huber And Devon as a sales person.

The video started out with 90% positive and then showed the repairs we needed. The last car I looked at was the one I wanted. I was in the market for a Jetta and my sister found one that Huber had for sale. I went to look at it and I must say Jonny was great to work with... friendly, cordial and down to earth. I went back to pick it up two days later and the buying process went smoothly. Brad was great as well, even helping me out with my rental car. A few days after the purchase I got an email from Mike in the Service Department following up with me to make sure I was happy. I purchased a GLC 300 from this dealership back in September. While the staff was initially nice, my experience went downhill almost immediately after leaving the lot. The same day I bought the car, one of the tires started losing air and ended up completely flat. When I contacted the dealership, they wanted me to pay for the issue—even though it happened the very same day I purchased the vehicle. I live in Colonial Heights, which meant a 4-hour round trip, and I made that drive twice trying to see if anything could be done. Unfortunately, nothing was resolved. The service manager brushed me off and showed little interest in helping. The sales representative was extremely pushy, which made the buying process more stressful than it needed to be. Because of the lack of support after the sale, I strongly recommend checking the vehicle thoroughly before driving off the lot. That said, I do want to give credit where it’s due: the finance manager, Valerie, was amazing. She was professional, kind, and the one bright spot in this entire experience. I truly have no complaints about her. Would I return to this location? No, I would not. While the purchase itself was smooth, the lack of accountability and poor service afterward completely overshadowed it.
