This is by far the worst repair shop I've ever been to. They were insisting that I pay for repairs and parts without even doing a diagnostic on my car, to know what was wrong and what was needed. They didn't properly communicate with me about my car, after contacting them several times they finally told me that they had replaced the sparks plugs which were recently installed prior to going to their shop. After that they told me that my car would no longer start and I needed to replace the engine completely. Afterwards I arranged for my vehicle to be picked up by AAA to then be told by the AAA driver that the workers at this company were bad mouthing me. The AAA driver was able to get my car started to move on to the truck after being told my engine was blown. I do not recommend this shop based on my experience with lack of communicate, not giving documentation of what was done to my car and the customer experience over all.

As always, superb fast and friendly service. Have been using Hughes for over 30 years with a variety of cars and have never been disappointed with service or cost. I live a half hour away and though there a number of car repair and service shops much closer I will always go to Hughes.

My mother and I both brought our vehicles here for an oil change within a week of each other and right after the oil changes they both suddenly had major transmission issues and we ended up having to get rid of our vehicles. Neither vehicle had any transmission issue Before bringing them to Hughes. I dont know what they did to our vehicles but I dont think its a coincidence that we both just needed oil changes and end up with transmission issues right after...

I have a 2007 Chevy Avalanche that is in great condition with high mileage. The worst happened and the motor died. Paul worked with me through the whole process and helped me get a new Jasper Engine installed. My truck is as good as new now. On the day I picked my truck up the owner Tom came and spoke with me explaining everything about the engine and what they did. The whole process was flawless and I just found my new mechanic for all 3 of my vehicles. I highly recommend Hughes Automotive for your vehicle needs. They are professional, their shop is always clean and organized. Great job Hughes Automotive

Tylor at the desk is awesome and Nico is as polite as young man as you can find. Highly recommend taking your vehicles there for you maintenance and break downs.

Did a great job repairing damage from hitting a curb, hard. Very knowledgeable, good at finding used parts to offer great price. Didn't try to get me to fix a bunch of other stuff "they saw needed fixed" but did recommend things to consider getting done. Which turned out involved a warranty recall part known to have that issue.

Hughes Automotive was amazingly helpful. My college student @ OSU had her passenger front seat air bag come on. She took it to several places around campus and they could not figure it out. Hughes Automotive mechanic figured the problem right away, she had a water bottle stuck under the seat and the seat needed re-calibrated! They were so professional! It is nice to know honest automatics are right here in Columbus, highly recommend them!

I was referred to Hughes by a friend and very pleased with the results. I let them know I was going out of town and needed the car back ASAP. They replaced the starter and valve cover gasket on my Honda and I had my car back in less than two business days at what I feel was a very good price. I have two daughters and two sisters with foreign cars and I will recommend Hughes to them and anyone else I know in need of automotive repair.
