Every stereotype you’ve ever heard about auto shops gets completely disproven at Hurless. Every interaction with their team is respectful, patient, and genuinely kind. I have never once felt like I was being talked down to or “mansplained” to. They explain everything clearly and without pressure. My husband and I had a really good experience with Hurless. They fixed the sensors on my Volvo, and they also diagnosed an issue that LP Volvo was not able to figure out (I had taken it to LP multiple times and they couldn’t nail it down) however the techs at Hurless figured it out the same day. I won’t be taking it anywhere else.

Nick and Justin were both thorough and professional during the entire process. They conducted a full checkup on all systems, which gave me confidence in their attention to detail. They flushed the fluids and identified a failing motor mount as well as the source of an oil leak—turns out it was just a doubled-up crush washer from a previous service center. The transmission now shifts like butter. Their ability to diagnose these issues accurately was impressive. What I appreciated most was that they recommended a few items to keep an eye on for the next 20,000 miles, allowing me to budget for them without feeling pressured to get everything done immediately. There was no hard sell; every service was discussed beforehand, making the entire experience transparent and stress-free. Overall, Hurless Brothers demonstrated their expertise and commitment to customer service. For now, Valhalla will have to wait! I was very impressed with Hurless. My Volvo would not start (it had been garaged for over a year while I was deployed), and they fixed that issue immediately. They also repaired another issue that a different repair shop had misdiagnosed. The other shop estimated $3K to fix it, but Hurless repaired the actual issue for a couple of hundred dollars. They were efficient, reasonable, and very communicative. I have a new Volvo on the way, and Hurless will get my business.

I've always been told, to find a good local car mechanic you can trust and a good doctor and a good lawyer. Well, I am happy to say that I have graduated to a new high in getting my car maintenance done at Hurless Brothers Foreign Car Service. Justin and the staff there have given me good solid, trust worthy diagnoses on my older model BMW, I even asked if they could put their license holders on my car because I'm so pleased with the excellent care that I have been getting on my BMW. It's care that makes me feel safe and comfortable keeping my older car. I've just had a second major service with them and I have fallen in love my with old car again and I can only thank Justin and his team at Hurless Brothers. I highly recommend their care for your vehicle.

This use to be one of the best mechanics for foreign cars. I had been taking my car there for 7 years and ever since the original owners left it has not been the same. The new owners weren't capable of fixing my car and would make me wait a month to get my car on the schedule. Even if my car broke down a week after I got it back from them. They had me drive my car home even though they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. It was really unsafe and they told me to not "drive in the rain" and I would be fine (this was during spring). I finally had to go to the Mercedes dealership and they told me it was a minor problem where my car needed a new chip for the steering. They also told me I had a huge oil leak which Hurless never informed me of. The customer service is not the same and the values of what Hurless was built on aren't the same. My car is 25 years old so maybe they can't work on old cars anymore? Maybe they can only fix newer cars now? I don't know. I am giving them three stars cause maybe they can come back around soon, but I go to a different mechanic now.

My daughter took her BMW to the BMW dealership in Boise they quoted her $4000 for the repair she needed. HURLESS BROTHERS quoted her and she paid $1800 for the repair. And, while doing the work they also found something else that needed fixed. They fixed it and only charged her$40! AND..., they did the repair in less then 5 days!!! Highly recommend! After sitting idle for well over a year, my dad’s 2013 GLK 350 needed an inspection, oil change, and a new battery: I quickly discovered that the sheer amount of wires/harnesses that needed to be disconnected wouldn’t allow me to DIY this. Both Costco’s Tire Shop and Batteries Plus enthusiastically recommended Hurless Brothers. The service staff at Hurless Brothers were professional and thorough: the service was very reasonably priced and epitomizes why owners should rely on reputable independent shops—and not dealerships—when German cars go off of warranty. German cars demand qualified techs and the inspections that come with them to remain reliable. ***You need to call ahead to schedule an appointment with good shops, this one included.
