Honestly the best mechanic experience of my life. I felt like I was taking my car to a friends shop. He came in on a Sunday when I called. He was extremely welcoming and fixed everything I needed very quickly and charged me what felt like a friends and family rate. I bought a 2010 Ford Fusion from Salem a couple of months ago and there were a couple of minor issues. A headlight out, etc. It turned out to be just a fuse which he replaced (charged me for the fuse, but not the labor ... it took them half an hour to figure out it was just a fuse). He sold me the car for a fair price and I would buy another car from him again. Salem is a great guy to work with.

The owner is really nice and helpful. The cars are around the $5,000 range, so I would ask all the right questions and he will tell you honestly. He let me drive the cars my family member was in need of, but they decided to finance a more expensive one instead of buying one. He has great reviews because he tells you the truth about the cars and you don’t find this often!

I don't usually do reviews so sorry if I typed this weird. So I went to Iron man auto shops last Saturday and I'm so glad I did. Salem was so very nice he told me what parts I was missing and helped me with an oil leak I was having. Please take your car here, the prices are reasonable and he will make sure everything is right before you drive off. He is a genuine mechanic 😊 thanks so much Salem. Salem saved me a lot of grief. I was visiting Birmingham when I wrecked the front wheel/axle of my car. This was bad timing, as I needed to drive hundreds of miles the next day to return home. Most companies would have charged me an arm and a leg and require me to wait days/weeks for the repair. Not so at Iron Man Auto Shop! Salem immediately inspected my car, quoted a very fair price, and ordered the necessary parts. In no time, my car was functional again and I was able to drive home without trouble. I'm so glad that my internet search took me to this shop.

I have taken my car to Salem twice now and he is absolutely incredible. First experience: I needed to get a new AC compressor and took it to two other places first and was quoted outrageous prices from each. I took it to Salem and he did it for less than half the price. Second experience: I needed to get my front brakes replaced (pads and rotors) and my wife took it to a place nearby where they quoted another outrageous price. I then took it to Salem and he did it for less than half the price (again). Besides saving more than half the cost from other places (which is reason enough to take your car here), Salem is extremely personable and friendly. I will be taking my car to him from now on.

Salem is awesome! He came to my rescue very last minute and I could not be more grateful. While working on my car he kept me in the loop and educated me on what exactly he was doing and what he was finding wrong. Salem is absolutely incredible. I saw that his business only had a few reviews but I saw that those reviews were stellar. I like to do business with someone that may be " up and coming" and would appreciate my business so I chose Salem and his shop to work on my older Mercedes/faulty water pump. He was honest ( hard to find these days!!)-++ And did exactly what he said he would do . He kept me informed with pictures of the work as he progressed. The car runs better than it even has . I will tell everyone that needs vehicle work done , and be confident that he would treat them exactly as he treated me . Highly recommend!!!

I needed an urgent repair on my Mercedes Benz on a Sunday afternoon/evening before heading out of town. Of-course since it was Sunday, not many shops were open, let alone having availability for new customers. I called Salem and he was able to fit me in on the same day. Not only that, as soon as I arrived he diagnosed and completed the repair very timely. I highly recommend Iron Man Auto Shop for anyone looking for a car shop in Birmingham. Huge shout out to Salem! We were coming back from Florida and our serpentine belt broke when we were still 8 hours from him I called 5 other places and met very rude people and everything was extremely expensive I finally called Iron Man and Salem was extremely sweet he drove to us and told us the problem immediately, we drove to his shop and he replaced not only our belt but the tensioner and replaced our oil. He kept us in a great mood joking around and was very knowledgeable. It was low cost and very quick we are forever grateful for this man getting us back on the road. I HIGHLY recommend his shop for every need.

I’ve gone to Salem twice for car troubles for two separate issues. Both interactions have been great. He is honest, reliable, and affordable. I’ve showed up randomly on a whim and he has diagnosed and fixed my car in 30 mins. The other time required me to leave my car, but he kept me up to date with pictures and progress. His shop will appear closed so always give him a call and see how he can help. I’ve suggested him to friends and will continue to recommend!
