Recently, I had my rear tires replaced at this service center. Since then, my car's driving experience has noticeably deteriorated. Here's a summary of the issues I've encountered and the steps taken to address them: 1. **Post-Replacement Issues**: Immediately after the rear tire replacement, I noticed that the drive was extremely bumpy and uneven. 2. **First Return Visit**: When I reported the issue, I was informed that it was due to not having an alignment service. I subsequently had the alignment done, which slightly improved the driving experience but resulted in the steering wheel being off-center, pulling to the left. 3. **Second Return Visit**: I returned the car again, requesting that a technician accompany me on a drive to observe the problem firsthand. The technician acknowledged the issue and assured me it would be fixed. 4. **Current Problem**: Before the latest service was completed, I received a call from a technician informing me that the uneven drive was due to a damaged wheel. He mentioned efforts to rectify this issue, but upon receiving my car, I find the problem persists. The wheel damage explanation does not seem plausible to me as the wheel was already damaged prior to the tire replacement, and I had no issues with the driving experience then. The car was always smooth and stable, a hallmark of BMW vehicles. D espite the team's politeness and efforts to resolve the issue, I am now at a point where I feel disheartened and uncertain about the ability of their service team to effectively resolve this problem. I am currently facing significant inconvenience, and my driving experience continues to be subpar. I requested a comprehensive resolution to this issue and a final attempt to restore my car's performance to the smooth and sturdy drive expected from Irvine BMW Dealer but received NO reply/action from both the service team or the service center management. They just don’t care.

Took my car here for an oil change. The car had a bad scratch on the rear bumper when I retrieved the car. I complained about this and was able to get the bumper fixed. But they must have over-tightened the drain plug as a retaliation and the thread on the oil pan was destroyed. I will never do business with them again.

I recently took my car in for service for the second time. Overall, the experience was okay, but I’m disappointed with some aspects. There’s a squeaking sound when I press the brakes, and despite keeping my car for three days, they couldn’t resolve the issue. They assured me it’s due to the high-performance brakes and that it’s safe, but it’s still awkward and embarrassing when the noise happens around other drivers. On top of that, they didn’t even bother to wash the car, which gives me the impression they don’t take pride in their work or show care for the vehicles they service.

My experience at this location was very disappointing and unprofessional. I stopped by to inquire about a potential computer system issue with my car, as I was unable to reset the oil change indicator. The oil change had been done at another shop, but they were unable to reset the indicator on their first attempt because the option did not appear on the screen. When I asked for assistance, the service advisor immediately dismissed my concern, stating that because I had the oil change done elsewhere, they couldn’t help me and wouldn’t take any liability. He also claimed that only BMW could reset the system, which is inaccurate. It is entirely my right to have my car serviced wherever I choose, and BMW cannot legally require owners to get oil changes exclusively at their dealerships. The lack of professionalism and willingness to assist was unacceptable, and I will not be returning to this location.

I recently had to bring my BMW in for service due to an issue that needed attention, and once again, the experience was outstanding. From the moment I arrived, my service advisor, Jose Ramirez Meija, ensured that the entire process was smooth and stress-free. Over the years, Jose has consistently provided exceptional service whenever I've brought my X5e in (or any of my other BMW's), and this visit was no different. Jose has always been incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. He takes the time to thoroughly understand any concerns I have with my vehicle and always explains the recommended repairs and maintenance in a clear and straightforward manner. Jose's attention to detail and commitment to ensuring my satisfaction, have made every visit a positive experience. I truly appreciate the level of care and transparency Jose brings to the table. Whether it's offering timely updates during the service process or going the extra mile to make sure I'm comfortable with the work being done, their dedication to providing top-notch customer service is evident. This ongoing positive experience is one of the many reasons I would wholeheartedly recommend BMW to my family, friends, and colleagues.

I visited BMW Irvine yesterday to check on a safety recall for my X7—you know, the kind that prevents the car from catching fire. I parked in the lot and walked into the service reception area, where I spoke to an employee. I explained that I had a recall and asked when I could come in to get it fixed. He asked where my car was, and I told him it was in the parking lot. He said, “No problem, just pull into the service intake area.” I did as instructed, and another service advisor came out, scanned my key, and asked about my visit. I repeated my request. Then he asked, “Do you have an appointment?” I said no, but the first employee told me it wouldn’t be an issue. He checked my key info and then immediately started pushing for a tire replacement, saying I needed new tires. I told him I was only here for the recall, at which point his whole attitude changed. Suddenly, I was told I needed to leave immediately and schedule an appointment by phone. So let me get this straight—removing a recall that could cause my car to catch fire is only possible if I spend over $2,000 on tires??? WHAT IS THIS?! This is shady, unacceptable service. BMW Irvine seems more focused on upselling unnecessary services than addressing critical safety issues. Absolutely terrible experience.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Irvine BMW dealership in Irvine. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was lackluster. I felt ignored by the service department team, who seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than assisting customer When I finally did speak to someone, they were dismissive and unhelpful, lacking both product knowledge and courtesy. Jose Ramirez ,Greg Imperial, manager of the service team were not helpful at all . Jose was so rude. we left the car there for software update and they damaged the rim, when we complained they gave us attitude and not willing to fix it. Overall, I expected a much higher standard of professionalism and respect from Irvine BMW dealership. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this location to others.

Extremely disappointed with Irvine BMW’s service department. I brought my vehicle in for a known warranty issue, and instead of addressing the actual problem, they tried to upsell unrelated services and avoid responsibility. Zero transparency, poor communication, and no accountability. After this experience, I traded my BMW in at Tuttle-Click Mazda—and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I won’t be returning.

***** Buyer Beware********* Extremely rude. We had an appointment scheduled, we received the confirmation texts of the appointment, we drove 20 minutes to our appointment and when we get there they say we don't have an appointment and that's it's going to be long time before we can get help. EVEN THOUGH WE SHOWED THEM OUR TEXT AND CONFIRMATIONS OF OUR APPOINTMENT. They were rude and condescending and were no help at all. So we drove all the way home tried to call them to get another appointment and we get sent to their voicemails and bots. This is not how you treat someone who spent 65K on car.

As a long-time BMW owner who has owned six BMWs, I am extremely disappointed with this dealership. Their shamelessness is beyond belief, and I must speak out about my experience of being deceived to warn fellow Chinese customers. Last year, I had my X3’s tires replaced at this dealership. The service advisor was Sergio. When inspecting the car, a staff member told me the tires needed to be replaced and offered me a very good discount, claiming the price was close to what America’s Tire offered. He then wrote down the prices and discounts for two tire brands on paper. Sergio processed the invoice, but I didn’t check the prices carefully at that time. When I went to pay, I noticed that the price on the invoice was slightly higher than what they had calculated for me. I asked Sergio about it, and he told me that part of the discount would be credited to my account for future use. Since my previous BMW dealers always had an account for each customer where credits could be used for maintenance or repairs, I trusted him and paid. However, today when I went in for maintenance, the cashier told me that they had never had such an account system, nor did they keep individual customer accounts—let alone any credit from my tire purchase. Of course, I went back to Sergio and the salesman who had sold me the tires, but they both denied everything. When I called the manager over, his attitude was extremely arrogant and dismissive. He flatly denied the existence of any personal accounts or discounts. They were blatantly lying to my face—without even blinking—just to make a sale. Irvine has a large number of new immigrants, especially Chinese customers, and I suspect they have gotten used to scamming people like this. I have been a BMW owner for 20 years and have visited BMW dealerships all over the world, yet I have never felt the need to worry about being scammed—let alone experiencing such blatant lies. From the way their manager treated me as a Chinese customer, I believe this is not the first time something like this has happened. He even had the audacity to ask me to provide proof! Our family owns a BMW X7, GT, and X3—the X3 is just a grocery car for my wife. Do I need to lie over a mere $200 discount? This is disgusting. I will never come back to this dealership again.

Took my 2024 BMW 8 Series in for standard service and had a very disappointing experience. They tried to upsell my wife $1,000 for unnecessary services (AC cleaning, coolant flush, and fuel injection cleaning) that are not part of BMW’s official maintenance schedule. When I called to question this, I was told we have the “lowest plan” (though a higher plan wouldn’t cover these either) and that declining the services could risk engine coverage if the car fails — which feels like scare tactics. On top of that, my wife picked up the car with low tire pressure and was argued with instead of helped. When I called back, the service advisor hung up on me and later claimed I was “upset from the beginning,” which was not true — I was simply asking why my wife was pressured to pay $1,000 for routine service. Overall, the experience felt more like extortion and upselling than BMW-level customer care.

They had one job — just one — to fix the blind spot detection malfunction. Simple enough, right? But no, I get a call from the service coordinator telling me the root cause is the 12V battery pack (because of course it is), and I agree to replace it. Fast forward to my triumphant 7-minute drive home from the dealership — and guess what? The exact same blind spot malfunction lights up again like it missed me. Truly iconic. Naturally, I try to call the service department at 5 PM — they close at 6, mind you — but shocker: no answer. Apparently, phones are just decorative past 4:59. These folks really set the bar for what “professionalism” should never be. So in the end, I basically paid a grand for a deluxe car wash and AC cleaning. Outstanding value. Truly blessed.

Not much complaints , they fixed an issue that Ontario and Riverside couldn’t fix so I’m glad , their coffee machine is also great and up to BMW centers standard. The only complaint would be I received a loaner that had only 17% charge and the alignment was off with the car only having 600 miles . But them giving me a next day appointment with a loaner made up for their mistakes.

I will never purchase another BMW from this dealership again! The Service Advisors, as well as the Service Manager, are all talk and no action! My car was in the shop for 30 days for an Oil Pump replacement. (Less than 40k miles) After three weeks, both the Service Manager and Service Advisor asked me to verify my address as BMW was going to reimburse me for my monthly car payment and then two days later, I was text, (not called) that BMW did not feel it was their responsibility for the delay in the repairs; therefore, there would not be any reimbursement for me. (I waited 30 days to get my car back but it was my fault for he delay is service?????) It's been seven months since then and I haven't heard from anyone since then. Not even for routine maintenance check ups. This dealership is a JOKE!

I had a highly disappointing experience with the BMW service center in Irvine, specifically under the supervision of Sergio Contreras. From start to finish, the service was sloppy, slow, and unprofessional. Firstly, it took them weeks just to check my car, and there was zero communication from their end. Unless I called or texted to follow up, I would hear nothing. When I finally got my car back, I discovered that it had been damaged on their lot. The so-called repair and polish job they did was extremely poor—just take a look at the photo, which shows the state of my car after they “fixed” it. Additionally, whenever I reported issues with my car, unless the problem was glaringly obvious, the staff would simply pretend everything was fine. I’ve had to bring my car back 3-5 times before they would acknowledge a problem and attempt to fix it, demonstrating a disturbing lack of basic mechanical knowledge. To top it all off, after picking up my car, I noticed that a few accessories were missing. Despite reaching out multiple times, I was completely ignored. It’s clear they have no intention of taking responsibility for anything. If you value your car and expect even a minimal level of professionalism, avoid this service center. You can expect them to trash your car, steal your belongings, and never own up to their mistakes.

I tried to give this place chances to make up so I don't have to leave negative reviews but apparently this place doesn't care and can't do a thing right. Incompetent compulsive liars and unprofessionals. New car with scratches & poor touch up: I just leased a brand new X3 at this branch but when I went back the next day to pick it up, it came with scratches all over the car after the detail. It doesn't show everything very well, but I have photos as evidence. Even a cheap machine car wash won't do this damage. I drove down over an hour to drop off my car because Irvine BMW promised to fix and take care of it but after another 2 hr drive to pick it up, I faced a poorly touched up car. The cuts are not fully filled and touched up marks are bumpy and uneven. This touch up looks very unprofessional, and I honestly think this looks worse. Looks like somebody wanted to DIY fix it and failed. I couldn't believe this is the quality of BMW. This is definitely not the new car that I signed up for. My service advisor also just told me to go find the cashier and take the car. He didn't even bother coming out asking me if I was satisfied with the fix but probably he knew how bad it was and wasn't proud of the fix. He was just standing there but didn't even pick up the call. A manager was involved in this assuring that it will be taken care of but that also meant nothing. Mistakes or no respect?: Not only has my car been damaged, but there was no knowledgeable personnel to explain why my X3 behaved differently than other cars that I test drove. When I asked, the answer was "Oh I don't know." Before the pick up, the service advisor called me confirming that my hybrid will be charged so I thought how kind? but my car was not even connected to the charger, and it was parked in front of the 'out of service' charger among all the available ones. Is this a joke? I don’t know if this is a discrimination or disdain, but I feel like they disdained my car and didn't respect my time spent for their mistakes. The manager asked me for a good review several times after all this. Please don't beg for a good review l. Do your work right first. I'll add more comment about how they miscalculated and charged more during the sales process in Irvine BMW reviews.

I've Been taking my BMW to the dealer since I bought it for oil changes and maintenance. I want to ensure the best care for my Bimmer and took advantage of the 3 year unlimited oil change special. The service was excellent at first. The multi-point inspection gave peace of mind and I knew the job would be done right. As time passed on I noticed the inspections missing major issues with the car that weren't checked or conveyed. The attitudes of the service techs seem to change when you deny their highly overpriced rates ($770 to replace just the brake pads I replaced a year ago. The service has definitely declined. Which brings us to today. I signed up for service on their web site under the military discount section on their service specials page. When dropping off the car, I confirmed with the service manager that the military discount was applied. When picking up the car, I was charged $2 below the oil change price advertised on the web site. It wasn't a special, it was the price for an oil change. When I spoke to the service manager, I was given the usual car dealer excuses. "We have to be competitive and can't discount, only for larger jobs." The manager kept treating the veteran's discount like a coupon and I informed him that it is a gratitude for service to the country, not a discount. Then he tried to claim that the oil change was a coupon price. Funny because it's listed on the web site it's listed at $119, no mention of discount. Why offer the discount if you're not going to honor it?! Don't pretend to support vets, if you're going to double talk your way out of it. Shame on you Irvine BMW. Unless you're spending exorbitant amounts of money here, they don't seem to be interested in providing the level of service that one would expect from BMW. I would suggest heading to Crevier or one of the other dealers. I haven't seemed to have these problems there.
