I went for an oil change but will not be returning. The waiting room was nice and the service was quick, my overall experience was disappointing. The service advisor was courteous and explained everything well. However, after the service, I noticed my exhaust was loose and my glovebox was not properly reinstalled. I had to return twice to get these issues fixed.

Gerardo Molina is amazing. I was running late for my service appointment and he didn’t express any frustration or annoyance that I was late. He was happy and smiling and super helpful. I had my two young boys and their car seats that needed to be transferred to the shuttle suv. He helped me take the car seats out and then made sure I had help getting them into the shuttle. The whole process went so smoothly. I felt very taken care. Then Richard shuttled us home and he gave both of my boys snacks and was very friendly on the drive back to my home. It made the whole process easy and made me feel at peace despite a crazy morning trying to get there on time.

I've been taking my car to here since 2020. From 2020-2022, the service was good, then from 2022-2023, the service went down hill. Most recently, I would say from the beginning of 2024, the service department significantly improved. I had two issues that were handled by management without any push back. In fact, there was an issue that management never came across, and instead of saying he didn't know how to fix it, he said "I've never had this issue before, but I'll figure it out and get it fixed" & he did.

Stay away from this place, if you go for a regular service they will “find” any issue in your almost brand new car. Therefore if you go for a regular solenoids cleaning, you’ll be told your car is leaking oil and you need to replace the head gasket. Basically your car will be coming back all year long for costly repairs, and apparently management doesn’t care, they will tell you your car warranty expired, you should had bought extra warranty they offered. UPDATE Honda stepped up to cover major cost of the head-gasket job, where I paid small portion, thanks for that, but a head gasket job at only 30k miles 🧐Reviews are very favorable with the Honda 10th generation, that’s why people buys Honda, for its reputation…

Originally was looking to lease a Honda CR-V EX-L from 2 other dealerships. I was using TrueCar and San Juan and Costa Mesa contacted me. Last minute, I decided to look at this Honda dealership since it was only 10 mins from home. Jessica saw my inquiry and contacted me. I told her that I saw the inventory on the website and the car I wanted wasn't in stock. I told her I have another appointment in the same day. She said she'll get me the numbers and get back to me. We had a unique situation with 2 trade-ins as well. Jessica got back to me within 30 mins to get the deal I wanted in an even better car. She even gave me the numbers on the phone while the other dealerships did not. She went above and beyond and we went in the same day and walked out with our CR-V. Thanks Jessica!

I received another great customer service from Norm Reeves Honda Irvine. This time, Luis Prado and his team provided this great customer service. Luis gave me a list of the recommended items to be done on my van on top of the repair required to fix my van. He gave me an estimated cost and the length of time to get everything done, updated me on the status and provided me with the results of the Multi-point inspection by text. At the service center, he explained to me the results. Seeing that the engine air filter was missed by his technician, he personally went out with me to the driveway to inspect not only the engine air filter but also the cabin air filter. Luckily everything was fine as both filters were clean. Thank you Luis and your team for the great customer service. Keep up the great service NRHI!

SCAMMERS!!!!!!! They told my husband that it would be $2,000 to fix the AC. After we got it fixed, it still didn't work. We went back and they told us to pay extra $3,000 because they "couldn't detect the problem at first." Isn't that your guy's fault that you didn't see that problem at first?????? Also, don't believe when they comment back on your review saying "they want to hear about it.. reach out to us.. blah blah.." Because my husband got the manager's email and reached out TWICE!!! And they didn't get back to him whatsoever. We will be sueing this place. And never ever buy cars from Honda again!!!!!!!!!

I feel that I was scammed by Honda. I brought in my car last month ago for a $2,000 repair for my AC. Less than a month later, issues continued and I brought back now they are telling me it will be another $3,000 to fix. They said they didn’t “catch” the problem when they first looked at the car. The mechanic misdiagnosed my car and promised me that the original repair would 100% fix my car. I can’t trust Honda anymore. I had 3 different technicians working on my car, Nathaniel Arce, Brandon Son and Luis Prado. I recently bought another car from this dealership as well and it will most likely be my last. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional!

I had a very unpleasant time at this dealership. I was lured down to the dealership under false pretenses. One of their "sales managers" Robert Lesniak sent me an email with a breakdown of my price summary of a car I was interested in purchasing. I come to find out the car was doubled in price at the dealership. It was unfair to waste my time and gas to drive all the way down to be told the cars sales price was no where near what they had sent me via email. I was told the "sales manager" was on vacation and sent me a breakdown of my plan with a wrong sales price. They said he might've been on vacation mode when he sent me that email. It is very unprofessional. I also saw he was an Internet Director not a sales Manager.! I wouldn't have had a problem if It was a third party who broke the numbers down for me because they aren't reliable most of the time but the breakdown was directly from one of the workers there.

I guess I should have known better—when I asked for a loaner car, they practically laughed and said, 'This is Honda, not Lexus!' The service was just as 'luxurious' as that comment. They told me a driver would pick me up in 20 minutes, but after waiting for 3 hours, I realized I'd have a better chance hitchhiking. I finally gave up and got my own ride. If you're looking for a dealership that treats you like you bought a luxury car, look elsewhere—because here, you get what you pay for: cheap car, cheap service, cheap treatment. What a joke!"

Brought my CRV in as the maintenance message came on. They asked if i wanted car washed. I said Yes. Paid $460 and 3 hours later car came back. It was dirtier than before, they forgot to wash it. I was in rush so just took it but when i started driving the same maintenance message came back on! Turned around and asked them why is the light on still! Did they even do the proper maintenance?? Guy just reset the console and said it’s all good!! Well never going back to this place again for service!!

I had to pay for replacement a battery which failed after 2y4m and is supposed to be under 100% part/labor warranty. It looks like a battery scam. The second issue of the water leak to the front passenger floor was not fixed after two days at service. I think it is enough to be disappointed

After leaving my car for an oil change and tire rotation, I was told to pick it up, so I waited, but the car was never brought out to me. I repeatedly asked the staff where my car was, but they kept saying it would be out shortly. I ended up waiting for 20 minutes. It turned out they had lost the key after the service, but they gave no explanation for how this happened. The mechanics were gathered around my car inside the garage, talking among themselves. They opened the door using a clothes hanger, which left scratches on the vehicle. There were also smudges and fingerprints all over the rearview mirror and the front windshield. Honestly, I would have understood if they had just told me that the pickup was delayed because they lost the key. But instead, they kept saying the car would be out soon without giving any explanation, which was just unbelievable. I will never get service here again.

Update 7/192025 2PM PDT I just got a phone call from this dealership if I am interested in trading my car. (Basically want to sell my Honda Clarity I clearly said I don’t want to as I need this car, and whoever called me make a fun of me. Me: I don’t want to sell this car. I still need this. Dealer: Do you need a car? You sell me your car and I’ll give you new one. Yes that’s basically what’s trade-in means and I know. But when I said i don’t want to sell mine, it was not clear to understand what I meant? This dealer treat me as if I am the idiot who doesn’t understand his English. Now this Honda becoming the worst dealership to me. ———— Usually I have no issue with this place but today it’s about their customer waiting space. So I visited here on Sat 6/7 and was told that it’s going to be 1.5hr-ish service. They seem to have a shuttle service but there are too many customers waiting for the shuttle so I decided to wait at their customer area. No TV turned on, coffee machine throws light coffee-colored watered no matter what menu I chose. Asked their employees three times but the answer was either 1) I’ll take a look or 2) it’s their service staff need to come here … without actually calling them. Do they expect customer to call their service crew to refill the coffee machine? Oh one dude said there are coffee machine “over the street”, I guess he meant other Norm Reeves VW next to it. But really? Is it how Honda train their crew? I am really disappointed for their customer waiting space. Oh and their couch at the waiting space is so old and the cushion is tearing apart, not just one but multiple of them. Thank you for the free water.
