I was having trouble with a used car that I recently purchased and after trying a couple of other "mechanics" I found Itric's shop. He is a true mechanic, not oil change place. He took his time to diagnose the issue and then fixed it, keeping me in the loop the entire time. I recently moved from Denver where I had a trusted mechanic and I think that I've found one in St Pete.

Bert Smith bmw charged me $8000 to fix my 2006 Bmw M5 smg transmission. I drove off their lot and got another transmission malfunction code. I took it back to them they bled the transmission two more times supposedly and they said the car still had a transmission error because it needed a $10,000 hydraulic unit, yes $10,000 part. It took them 2.5 weeks to come up with that diagnosis. I let the car sit in my driveway for a few months as it wouldn't shift out of neutral. I took it to Itrics after reading the reviews and speaking to many bmw "specialists" that didn't work on this car. I left the car with Boris who took the time to ask questions about the car and actually analyzed the information he was given both from myself and thd cars ecu. He had it for a couple days and called to ask me to stop by. I'm thinking great here comes multi thousand dollar quote to repair.He told me he was 90% sure it just needed to be bled correctly which was a rather difficult job and reviewed the procedure with me. He told me $720. I said ok and left. He called me a few days later and said the car was ready to be driven. I got there and we went for a test drive and "no" codes popped up no matter how hard I pushed the vehicle. If you are looking for an intelligent and knowledgeable master mechanic who will take the time to listen to you and fix it right. You need Boris! My M5has a great mechanic going forward.

Especially if you drive a BMW or high-end European car, Itric's is the only place to go. The scene at Itric's most days is a few BMWs, a Porsche or two, a Ferrari, and/or a Lamborghini. Since people with cars that cost more than many people's homes trust the Itrics with their cars, maybe they really are that good so you don't have to just take my word for it. It's important to know that "Master Mechanic" isn't some meaningless, self-appointed claim, but an actual certification most mechanics don't have. I learned that from my best friend of 30 years who is also a master mechanic, but closed his shop in Tampa years ago when he moved to Canada. That's how I first met Boris and the rest of the Itric family, who happen to be among the most genuinely nice and honest people I've ever met (you can trust their advice to help you prioritize repairs). I also learned from my friend that the only way to keep any car running perfectly without constantly overspending is to have one mechanic who is the only one to ever touch the car for any reason. That was proven to me many years ago when a $10 oil change for my wife's car ended up costing hundreds of dollars because a careless employee at a discount shop didn't put the oil plug back in right. Things like that just don't happen when, not only is the business owner doing the work, but he is also someone who takes great pride in his work. With Boris, you always get top-notch work and, equally important, you never have to worry about whether you're paying for repairs that aren't really necessary. In any case, when my friend closed his shop, he had been the only one who touched the cars of anyone in my family for decades, so I asked him where we should take our cars going forward. The one place that a lifelong master mechanic felt comfortable letting someone else touch his own cars was Itric's, so my family has been going to there ever since.

These guys are great. While on vacation my A/C stopped working in my BMW X5 and the local dealership was too busy to help. They (BMW) were helpful by referring me to Itric's and the guys there had me back up and running with cold air within an hour and a half. Not only were they fast but I'm sure I also saved money compared to getting the work done at the dealership. I highly recommend going there with any BMW issues.

We've been coming here for years. Boris does great work that I know will last at a reasonable price. He's also great about suggesting a time table of what to look for in the future to keep things running smoothly. He doesn't do the "hard sell" and I've never felt pressured to get extra work done on my car.
