I waited a few months before leaving this review just to see how my wife’s car would run, and I have to say — ya boy Jason and his team at J&H did an excellent job! He replaced the engine on our 2021 Chevy Traverse, and it has been running smooth ever since. If you’re looking for an honest, trustworthy shop (which can be hard to find these days), I definitely recommend J&H. Ask for ya boy Jason — he’ll get you taken care of for sure!

My former mechanic had replaced the alternator in my 2013 Chrysler 200. The car ran for a day, but started to have ignition trouble the next day. I had it towed back to my former mechanic who said it was a problem with the ignition switch and they didn't have a mechanic to fix that. I called the local Chrysler dealership and they said the car was too old for them to fix it. I then had it taken to J & H Automotive. They said they could fix it. They replaced the ignition switch as the diagnostics indicated, but that didn't fix the issue. They didn't charge me for that work and replaced the new ignition with my old ignition since it was working fine and fixed the real issue which was the TIPS (Total Integrated Power System) module. The car is running like new now. I would give six stars if that was possible.

Great experience from start to finish. Their team started with a full inspection, emailing me details and pictures on what needs to be addressed on my truck. I proceeded with some of the work, and will go back soon to address the other things they noted.they kept my truck for a few days, so I trust that they took their time on the work. Very trustworthy business. I’m happy with the relationship I have with them and will take my wife’s car, and my company vehicle to get worked on here. Thank you!!

From the moment I walked in with my explanation of vague squeaky noises coming from underneath my car until the handshake at the end, my experience was top notch. They diagnosed all of the age related issues & sent photos of everything they found. I okayed it all because my car is 10 years old and these things need to be done. My car is everything to me, and when you can't replace it, you have to take care of it and keep it safe. So thank you, J&H for everything. They even had a brake lock up on final test drive & had to install an actuator and gave me a great break on the price and then installed a new caliper for free. When I say top notch I mean it. Highly recommend. If you care about your car and your wallet, take it to J&H Automotive Repair.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I first found J&H Automotive Repair Inc. a few years ago when I was in the area and had an issue with my car. They helped me in such a professional and honest way that from that day on, they became the shop I trust the most. Even though I live in San Diego, I prefer to drive all the way to their shop because I know they will always tell me exactly what my car needs without making anything up. This place is Great!! They got my vehicle back on the road and my brakes are no longer squeaky. I worked at an Auto Repair shop in Riverside for 19 years. And J & H is equally as Great! I also love the Shuttle rides back home and for pickup when the vehicle is done. I totally recommend them!

Jason was the first person that I had contact with, he went over everything that had to be done and I loved the system that J&H uses which shows exactly what needs to be done and the cost. They also had my car done 2 days earlier than expected and also took care of my windshield wipers for no extra cost. This is going to be my go to shop from now on. Everyone was amazing, they even wiped down the inside of my car with armor all. I would give them 10 stars!!

Make sure you talk to Johnny!! He was very respectful, very communicative with everything going on! The mechanics were very willing to show me anything they found, photos were given, explanations were provided, and they were very kind the entire time. I had just moved to Hemet and was in need of a reliable new mechanic that I know I can trust and go to every time there’s a car issue. I did my due diligence researching many shop’s. My faith landed with J&H. I’ll give you some key factors that only J&H did and other shops did not do. I called in to get a quote of a car issue and not only where they having the best prices out the door, but they also sent me a clear instructional point to point itinerary through a text message that had a link that gave me everything broken down to Parts and labor. Once the car was fixed, they informed me every step of the way. I feel like they really do care about the customer and how they present themselves during the time that your vehicle is with them. It’s that above and beyond aspect that they project. Car is running great and beautifully. Also aware of other things that is an issue. Had a good laugh with Jason about my car 😉 Thank you. Came here to get my air conditioning, vacuum and recharged, they went ahead and did the pressure test first found out no weeks and then they filled it up and then found out the expansion valve was bad replaced it not a bad price then vacuumed and recharge my system again didn’t recharge me for the service twice so it was a great experience and great value. Very knowledgeable staff highly recommend the spot. Definitely well. Returned for any future work I need. and the guy at the front desk was super nice and very easy to talk to you. Their customer service is definitely on point.

I just want to share how grateful I am for the outstanding service this automotive shop provided for my mother. She lives in California while I’m in Florida, so finding someone trustworthy to take care of her car gives me real peace of mind. Jason went above and beyond in helping her with her 2001 Lexus. He treated my mom with patience, kindness, and respect, and made sure everything was taken care of properly. Knowing someone was looking out for her and making sure her car was safe and running well meant a lot to me. It’s not easy trusting someone with your parent’s vehicle when you live across the country, but Jason truly made the experience easy and reassuring.
