Beware of these guys they lie. First he said $200 for manual transmission fluid change. I said I would bring the oil and how much would the labor be since the oil is $160. He said $150. Doesn’t make sense. Then he said the oil is not included. I said that is not what you told me in the beginning. You said $200 for the entire job. To update I had my brake fluid replaced by this place when I visited them back at the time of the review may I add that today I visited a much better mechanic and he showed me that the brake fluid was very dirty. I told him to replace it as he was pumping the new fluid in two hoses were clogged thanks to j’s auto because they never touched the brake fluid and charged me $125 now the fluid is too dirty it clogged the brake hoses

My car was stolen back in September. I got it back a few days later, but then at the beginning of November it was broken into again. (The curse of not having a parking spot in my apartment's garage.) In both instances, the car was left un-drivable. VJ fixed it both times. And although my car is on its last legs...its getting me where I need to go for now thanks to him. I appreciate that both times he allowed me to tow it to his lot and keep it there until we knew what we could do to fix it. He only made the repairs I approved, though he keeps me informed on what he would recommend. Even when I considered not fixing the car at all, he offered to help facilitate me selling it to a junk yard. But until I can afford to get something new, I'll keep bringing my current car to VJ when I need help.

A coworker recommended J’s to me a while ago so when I needed my oil replaced and thought I might have an oil leak, I went here. Rolled up in the morning & VJ was great. Dropped of my car and a couple hours later he called me right when he said he would to tell me what was wrong and the cost. Turned out I didn’t have an oil leak but I did need new brakes (which made sense it’d been several years since they were replaced). I picked up my car a few hours later with everything all replaced and ready to go! The price was very fair and everything was done when he said it’d be. Will definitely be returning for any future maintenance!

Ive had my car serviced here two times, and each time has been a more positive experience than the last! VJ is a consummate professional, his prices are fair, and he's one of the rare human beings that goes above and beyond. They do really good work, are fast, and he will work with you. As a female, it's always been difficult for me to find trustworthy places to have my cars serviced. I've been going here for a couple years with my Toyota Corolla 2010, and I've had multiple larger maintenance issues fixed like replacing my radiator/battery/alternator and brakes. Each time,they've done a stellar job. While it's never *really* pleasant to dish out the big bucks on necessary repairs when your car gets up there in years, VJ makes it the most pleasant experience possible!

This mechanic shop is the best i have been going to J’s Auto Clinic for over 15 years now to fix all my cars. I travel all the way from Inglewood to Burbank just for this shop. I never let anyone else touch my vehicles. I have had so many bad experiences with other shops in the past that when i was introduced to this shop i never went anywhere else again. I know my car will be fixed right the first time i will not be ripped off VJ comes out personally to talk to me about my car he shows me the old parts and explains to me what’s going on with my car he’s always communicating with me along the entire process. If i have any concerns or questions i know i can always call VJ and he will address them and i know he’s listening to me he tells me not a problem bring the car in when i have time he always makes time to check out my vehicle even when he is super busy that’s what makes this shop the greatest the customer service and the quality of service given is the best hands down. I recommend this shop to everyone i know. VJ is the best so if your looking for a new mechanic this is the place you want to come to. I can’t say enough good things about this shop! I was miles from home when my car started having issues, and to say I was panicked would be an understatement. VJ and his two sons went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and supported through the whole experience. After having a full-blown panic attack in their lobby, they treated me with kindness and patience, making sure I had a safe way to get home.
