Went in for my check engine light asked for the code/what’s the problem ended up charging me a 150 dollars to tell me the gas cap wasn’t tighten.I understand you still have to get paid 50-100 Bucks for your time and your technology wich was 15 minutes but 150 for a loose gas cap that was fixed by tighting cause it wasn’t screwed on is craazy talked to him about it he didn’t care paid him still cause I have integrity but man never again .

Wonderful service, cost were fair, everyone was friendly, and the owners went above and beyond to help us out of a jam. We ended up using J's Auto when my car broke down late on a Friday night 30-miles outside of Bakersfield. They were the only Mechanic near by open that was willing to take our car and look at in the morning. They weren't even supposed to be open that morning! But they took us anyway because we were stranded on a roadtrip. That level of kindness and service speaks volumes. The final cost of the repairs after all that... also very reasonably priced. And they were able the job done quickly too. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Cost of labor is pricey, but J's service is very good. My car was broken down because the alternator was dead while I was on a road trip. It took him 2hrs to complete a job, then I continued on my rood. He also dropped off my family at the restaurant while we're waiting for the repair. I don’t really write reviews but J’s auto repair shop deserves one that’s for sure! From the moment I called it’s been a great experience for my son and I, not only did Jesse fix my son’s Audi but also properly diagnosed the problem because the previous repair shop we had the car at did not diagnose it correctly. I have extended warranty on the car and they almost paid for an expensive repair that was covered but not needed. I’m glad we decided to tow my son’s car to his shop to get a second opinion. When my son first arrived at the shop he met Jonathan and said he was very polite and assured him that they will figure out what’s wrong with his car. Jesse and his entire staff is very professional and communicates everything from start to finish no matter how many questions you may have , and trust me I had a lot of questions lol but Jesse answered all of them very thoroughly and he even took the time to speak to my warranty agent! The quote that he originally gave us was less than what my son paid when he picked up his car. We will definitely be getting all our future car repairs at his shop. Thank you for everything!

My car broke down on the freeway and I was able to have it towed to the shop with no problem. He even gave me his personal tow truck recommendation. As soon as I got there they went straight to giving me a quote on the work that needed to be done at a fair price, very friendly and professional! I also needed two tires so he went ahead and got those for me as well at a fair price and added it to my charges, car was ready same day. There is an office you can sit and wait, it’s also very close to downtown area with restaurants walking distance. I will be returning for more work done on my car, this shop was very easy to communicate with and kept me informed the entire time.

I first met Johnathan from Offer-Up when I bought some wheels from him for my 2003 Jetta. There were some issues with the sizing but he went out of his way to find some wheels that fit securely on my car. He came off as a very honest guy so when that car needed some major repairs I brought it to him and Jesse. They did a PHENOMENAL job at diagnosing the issue and fixing it well and quickly. My car hasn't run this smooth since I got it! They also don't cut corners. Their goal is to keep you from having to come back, so they do not compromise on the jobs they do. They only recommended things I needed and really helped me understand what was going on with my car. If you're looking for an honest shop that does quality work at a competitive price, look no further. If anyone asks me to point them in the direction of a mechanic, I'm sending them to Johnathan and Jesse at J's Mobile Auto Repair!
