I recently had my vehicle serviced at this repair shop, and I can confidently say it was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and treated with genuine care and respect. The staff was knowledgeable, transparent, and took the time to thoroughly explain the repairs needed without any pressure or confusion. What stood out just as much as the service was the cleanliness of the facility. This is something that I noted a decade ago when I first met the owner, Jason, at the Virginia Street location. The waiting area, counters, and even though I didn’t see them- I imagine the service bays are just as spotless, something you don’t often see at car repair shops. (I would probably eat off the floor implementing the five second rule.) It gave me immediate peace of mind, knowing I was leaving my vehicle in a place where organization and attention to detail are clearly a priority. The team, including Joe, and James demonstrated utmost professionalism throughout the entire process. Communication was consistent, and felt genuine. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled perfectly. (Is everyone here required to have their name start with a J?) Upon driving away with my car, I was greeted with a thank you parcel smelling reminiscent of the holidays; the good nostalgic kind. Come to learn that the owners wife, Susan adds this special gift. (Not wanting to spoil the surprise for others, I’ll let you find out upon your own departure. Also debunking my theory on requirements of names.) I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for honest, high-quality automotive care. Exceptional service, immaculate environment, and a team that truly values its customers—definitely my go-to place for Nissan owners. There’s no other shop like this one. 🥰 Amazing ! Japanese manufacturers build amazing vehicles that seldom require repair work. In fact, the only reason I needed repair work on my Honda was because unfortunately American culture is not as honest as Japanese culture, and my catalytic converter was swiped. This theft became the catalyst for the mechanical issues my lil ride experienced. After going through multiple repair shops and mobile mechanics in both Texas and southern New Mexico, I opted to try Japanese Car Care here in Albuquerque because I was in town for a week. BEST DECISION EVER! (And it only took one day, for the actual work. So I had my ride back super fast!) Japanese Car Care resolved my engine light codes seemingly permanently, resulting in marked improvement in the way my ride handled. Multiple shops attempted, but the drive never improved and the check engine light always came back on (usually within 1-3 miles). Japanese Car Care also performed a courtesy inspection, discovered some minor issues and offered me a reasonable quote to repair these issues - without the high pressure sales tactics commonly faced at dealerships and other shops. I cannot say enough fabulous things about my experience with Japanese Car Care. I am so ecstatic with the work and customer service received from Japanese Car Care that I already plan to have my struts replaced by them on my next trip to Albuquerque.

I was really impressed with the diligence of the service tech that diagnosed my 2017 Kia Rio. I've been having a recurring issue with an evap code and I've taken my car to a couple other shops in town and nobody's been able to fix the cause of the problem. So I'm taking the work to JCC. I read the diagnostic write up furnished to me by Japanese Car Care and I'm impressed at how thorough and detailed their analysis is of my particular evap code problem. They really bring an "engineering mindset" to the process of sleuthing out the culprit as to why my little Kia keeps throwing this code. There's an attention to detail and a persistence that's evident in their work. I was impressed. Also the front house is solid with their customer service and their knowledge of vehicle maintenance. They're able to put things in layman's terms to make it easier for the rest of us who aren't car buffs to fully grok the maintenance condition of our vehicles. And the other thing is that these guys at Japanese Car Care are hungry for the business. They aim to please. They know the value of their work and they charge for it. And I'm more than happy to pay for the expert skill level in diagnosis and turning wrenches to maintain my Kia Rio for many miles to come.

I truly appreciate the transparency and timeliness of each service. The last service I got unfortunately had the wrong part ordered, and even with that they were still able to get everything shipped, fixed, and car out within a day. All the staff are very friendly and if you have any questions they are super open to anything. Their quoting is also quite reasonable in my opinion, and I genuinely think this is a great place to get a good deal.

I had a such a great experience getting my oil changed in my RAV4. I have never had such a friendly and positive interaction with the staff at an auto shop. As a woman who went in alone, I always worry I’ll be charged for unnecessary repairs or replacements and that I’ll be treated with disrespect. Joe was super friendly and helpful when I dropped the car off, and I was given a realistic update of when the car would be ready. I was updated via text and had actually photos of the fluids that needed to be replaced. They took great care of my car and I will definitely return and take my Lexus here as well. It was more expensive than the dealership, but I would gladly pay for the quality and experience that I had here.
