I had my car towed in for service to get an estimate on replacing the main rear seal. I explained to the service advisor (Brooks) that I had already had a diagnostic test and it showed that the rear main seal was leaking and the car was trying to stall while driving. After receiving the quote and listening to the advisor about the parts and not having them in, and would take a few days to get them in, I decided to pick my car up. The advisor advised me that a diagnostic test and visual test had been done; I agreed with the visual test but not the diagnostic because everything I had told him in my statement was based on my statements and not a diagnostic test Parts that had been replaced back in January 2025 were listed in recommendations to have replaced that have not been on my car for two months, and if a diagnostic test had been performed, they would have known that the hoses they recommended to replaced had NOTHING to do with the coolant leak it is the water pump. I have used the facility for service many times but stopped going because of the distance. I accept what has happened because I know one day we all reap what we sow. We have to be careful how we treat people because the same token we serve to others will come back to us or someone we love. I can only say God, bless.

My experience was great. The root cause of my problems were quickly diagnosed and a strategy was put in place to order the correct equipment and and a plan was put in place to make repairs. My Service Advisor was awesome, kept me informed throughout the entire process. He even followed up on what was covered by my Extended Warranty.

Waited in the waiting room for an hour even though our car had been finished the day before. Was just waiting for the paperwork and for them to bring the car around, which took an hour to do. I think they forgot that we were there because once we left the waiting area and went back into the service desk area, our paperwork was handed to another employee and then was done in less than five minutes.

Having purchased a 2023 Chevy Silverado I thought I would not be seeing the inside of a dealership service pay for quite some time, but the truck has been nothing but a problem since the day it was purchased. Transmission issues, engine issues, electronic issues, gas mileage problems. And now the steering and Alignment has become a problem. As I write this the truck is in the shop again for the alignment and steering, gas mileage, and transmission problems. Now with all this said, the service writers have been professional and helpful. I have received the truck back when promised. One pet peeve is when the mechanics take the vehicle for a test drive and they burn up the gas and not replace it. But that's all shops. They do put down floor paper so not to get dirty oily boots in your vehicle, but unlike some other dealerships don't expect your vehicle to get a wash or vacuumed out with every service. This is not something this particular service department does. Nor do they have a quick or fast oil change bay, you have to make an appointment for an oil change. I've had to return the vehicle after repairs, but it's been the vehicle so far and not anything the mechanics are doing or not doing. Basically this feels like an old-fashioned dealership service department without all the frills you might find with a newer type dealership or something you might find with BMW. I am cautiously optimistic the problems with my truck will be resolved, but if not I will dump this lemon and replace it with something else which will not be a new GM product. But it won't be from a lack of trying by the service department, I just think the 2023 silverado, it's 6.2 engine, and it's transmission with all its recalls is just a poorly designed and poorly engineered vehicle

This may seem minor to some But when I went in to pick up my vehicle after an oil change, I noticed that the oil life had not been reset in the vehicle. I’ve gotten my oil change here since I bought this truck in 2022 and this is the first time this has happened and I question whether the oil change was done or not.

Travis (Service Advisor) was outstanding. He understood my issue right a way. Travis advised me it could be a couple days since the check engine light was on. During the wait of repairs, he was awesome at keeping me advised. That meant everything to me. During the repair, Travis asked if he could get my warranty insurance info. Amazing. Travis worked directly with the warranty insurance and was successful at having them pick up a great amount of repairs two different times. I highly recommend Travis ( Service Advisor).

I took my vehicle in just to find out that it needed an immediate work done and my vehicle was taken in the back for maintenance that very instant. I usually take my vehicle to Herndon Chevy off Sunset but decided to give Jim Hudson a try. I was greeted and taken care of like a valued customer. My last experience at Herndon was not a good one and I was not treated like a valued customer. Daniel was the service tech who took my information, and I felt comfortable leaving my vehicle in good hands. He told me he would contact me as soon as he knows something. I thought they would keep my car for 24-48 hours, but he called me in 4-5 hours and informed me they located the problem. I was pleased with the explanation from the mechanic. They put my nerves at ease and told me that if the problem ever comes back, bring the vehicle in ASAP and they would fix it as no cost. Overall, it was a great experience.
