Brought my car in for one part replacement. OVERCHARGED for labor and extremely rude customer service. Upon leaving, I noticed my car had more issues, prior to bringing it there. Avoid this place, as Jimmy Nelson does not own it anymore.

Jimmy has been working on my Toyotas and Hondas for about 15 years now. I feel comfortable recommending him to anybody, especially those who are not car savvy. Everybody that I encouraged to go see him has been happy and felt like they were taken care of well and saved money. Jimmy is honest, that’s hard to find today, especially at the dealerships with their little profit centers and quotas (think service director managed by the same people who manage the used car salesman!). That’s my nickels worth anyway.

Jimmy and this team are amazing! I have used his shop for over 20 years. He is honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. He is a great person, too. I had a 1988 Civic with a wierd intermittent problem. He worked diligently with me to figure it out. It took leaving it with him several times, before it finally acted up for him. 🙂 Turns out it was a part that almost never fails intermittently -- usually it either works or it doesn't. Ha! Anyway, he didn't give up, or tell me I was crazy. (Like another place did on an earlier issue with the same car.) I go there for oil changes, other maintenance, & repairs. I highly recommend taking your car to see him and his crew. You'll be glad you did.😊

This is the best repair shop! My Prius Prime's battery failed me, and I am from out of town, staying at a B and B. They helped me immediately, providing more than their usual services, because I was in a bind. Their Toyota certified mechanic got me a new battery and installed it immediately, while Michelle, office manager, provided kindness and a pleasant place to wait. I am so grateful!

This shop was great. Came in not knowing if the issue was the alternator, the battery, or something else. Could have totally tried to take advantage of me but they didn't at all. Everyone I spoke to was very straightforward and honest. Turned out to just be the battery terminal and needing a new battery. The price was excellent. Took my car in around 2pm and had it back to me by 6pm. Fastest mechanic service I've ever gotten in the state of Louisiana and the owners are super friendly people. Definitely recommend.
