I would leave more stars if I could! Last night, John was my guardian angel in Nike slides. My husband and I were coming home to Birmingham from Montgomery. As we merged on to the interstate our car lost all power and rolled to a stop. Soon, a Montgomery Co. Sheriff pulled up (special shout out to Sheriff Bennett). It was 9:30 at night and starting to rain. Luckily, Sheriff Bennett knew just the person to call. Enter John and his amazing helper! They were there in no time and got to work. After checking out the situation, the car needed to be towed. What to do? My work equipment was in the car and it and we needed to get back to Birmingham that night. No problem for John! This angel brought me, my husband and my 4Runner ALL THE WAY BACK TO BIRMINGHAM! And, let me tell you, we even got to stop for a much needed bathroom break. We walked in our front door at 12:45 so I know it had to be 2 a.m. before he got back home. Not once, not one little time did I ever feel like it was a problem or that he was put out by helping us. We got to talk to John quite a bit on the ride home and yall have a diamond of a man in your city! The service, the kindheartedness and the caring of this man made this the absolute best outcome it could have been. What could have turned in to a very bad situation turned in to blessing. I do Instacart and I locked my keys in my car before doing a delivery. I called John and stressed to him how important it was to get my keys out since I needed to deliver. Not only did he get there extremely quickly but he was so kind and unlocked my car in about 30 seconds! Very dependable and trustworthy! A MAN of his word. Thank you John for all your hard work and in a short time. Replaced radiator fan, thermostat, and fixed A/C all in 3 hours, at my place, no mess, no trash left behind. My SUV feels brand new... So I was waiting for a mechanic who volunteered to fix my overheating SUV and never showed up so I googled mobile mechanic and called because of his reviews and they were correct. John came out told me everything to order and said call me when your parts come in call me. They arrived Sunday Father's Day , called, he said I'll see you in the morning. I could not thank John enough for everything he did for me this weekend. Friday evening I was on my way out of town when my car began running hot, I pulled over on the side of I-85 and had no idea what I was going to do. I seen John’s mobile mechanic service pop up and gave him a call. At 10:00 pm this man came and towed my car, had the problem diagnosed, parts in stock and changed, and had my car back to me Sunday afternoon. Not only great, fast service, but MORE than fair prices. Wow! John is an angel sent from up above! My elderly parents vehicle went out on them in the eastchase area. I called John and he immediately came out, diagnosed the vehicle, towed it and fixed it all within 1 day! He was very professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate towards us. He went above and beyond. We didn’t have to lift a finger! He did everything from A-Z, it was a seamless stress free process! He efficiently communicated with us the entire time and kept us updated with photos and any concerns! This is the only mechanic we trust with our vehicles from here on out! He makes you feel like family and not like you’re just a business transaction just to get your money like most mechanics make you feel. I was stranded in a major intersection and John came within a half hour, got my car to his shop and when I had a ride to scoop me in my other car, it too needed repairs. He got that car up and running within the hour and the truck back to me the next day. I contacted him bc of the good reviews (that Im starting to think are fake) on Friday 11/14/25. He told me he could come out and look at the car if ai sent him my address and tag number? So I sent my address and vin number over and no response. I waited a few days and reached out again on Sunday still no response. I reach out on Monday 11/17/25 one final time and he responds telling me he had a death in the family and would be back working Wednesday. Do you think I have heard anything from him? No and atp im glad because if he cant be a man of his word imagine what his work on a car is like! I tried to support a small business but will take it to an actual place that answers the phone. Imagine this. You’re halfway through a 5 hour trip to move your pregnant roommate. You almost miss your exit and have to slam on the brakes, then bam! Brake line busts. It’s 11:30 at night with no hope in sight. John did what no service company around could do and came out and did his best in the moment. Ended up having to tow it to his shop so he can repair it the next morning. I would’ve had to pay anyone else $300+ just to come check on me. John you went above and beyond for me, a stranger and I will never forget the generosity you showed me.

Used him before was cool. Called for an oil change and to replace injector pass through seals had all parts just need labor he showed up changed oil damaged my injector lines and charged me for 3 and half hours but on was the for maybe a 1 and half hour. Caught me half sleep as he showed a couple hours after the time we set to meet.

My battery was changed by someone else. Old battery was bad. Well I tried to go to work after battery was changed and my car wouldnt work at all. John has done work for me previously and I found him reliable and doesnt overcharge so I came back, of course. He came and towed it to his shop and diagnosed the issue... The person that put my battery in caused an electrical surge and my ECM got burnt at 2 points. He fixed my car within a couple of days finding out what the issue is. My car is running well afterwards and I recommend him 100%. Hes always been reliable, well priced, and I have been going to only him for last 2 years. I trust him with my vehicles.

The first time we found John was for a last-minute emergency — literally the day before we were supposed to take our daughter to college in Florida (August 2025). John didn’t hesitate. He sent one of his guys out to our home in Clanton, got the job done, and gave us peace of mind for a long drive. That alone felt like a true blessing. And here we are again. We’re heading to Florida for a family funeral, and once more, John came through when we needed help at the last minute — this time with my van. Another local shop quoted us $2,200 to replace the oil cooler/housing and valve cover gasket. John handled it for a fraction of that cost, with honesty, skill, and zero pressure.
