I had an alignment done on my Toyota Sequoia along with wheel balance at a shop in Dadeville . After talking to Dustin and Johnathan I was convinced I was at the place that could show me that I was right about the alignment being off and wheel balance was very noticeable with 2 inch high stack of old school wheel weights . I was alignment tech for 20 years . Grays took my Toyota gave me a before printout and a completed printout of my alight ( 60 dollars cheaper than wear I had paid for a poor alignment that made my Toyota dangerous to drive . Long story short they fixed it . It rides like it did when brand new . Very happy with there professional attitude, honesty and comment to fix my vehicular for a reasonable price . These were things I had been looking for in a shop for 20 years . No body will touch any of my cars again but Grays Automotive on Shirley lane Montgomery , Al . I will happy make 61 mile trip from my house on Blue Creek , Lake Martin to Montgomery . Since I retired 21 years ago for health reason I am no longer able to work on my own cars . That’s a tuff pill to swallow when you have been fixing and building cars for 30 years . I now have a friend in Grays Automotive that I trust 100% with anything they tell me because they proved themselves my very first exsperiance with them . Thank you guys will be back with one of four vehicles in my household !!!

I had an excellent experience at Gary's Automotive! I walked in at nearly closing time with an almost flat tire, hoping for a tire patch. Despite the late hour, the staff was incredibly cheerful, helpful, and didn’t hesitate to get to work. They patched my tire quickly and made sure I was all set before leaving. In addition, they offered this service for FREE! I truly appreciate their friendly service and efficiency—it's rare to find such great customer care. Highly recommend this locally owned shop for anyone needing reliable auto services. The shop waiting room was also clean and comfortable. I was very frazzled when I walked in because my tire pressure had gone from 22 psi to 12 psi within a block. I believe the fact that I ended up at Gary's to be a "God thing" but others might say it's a happy accident. Whatever it is, they have earned a new customer. I will be returning for my automotive needs.

The team at Grays always does an amazing job. My father has been a long time customer and after I moved back to Montgomery, this is where he brought me when I started having issues with my car. I truly feel a lot safer driving my car now than I have in the two years. One problem would lead to another problem and each time they did an amazing job with the necessary repairs.

My son is away at college and ran into his first car issue. He took it to Gray’s to get an ABS light diagnosed. Somehow, it came back with no issue (likely did a standard OBD-II diagnostic run). Then they proceeded to tell him that there was a significant leak in the rear brakes and wanted to charge us $1,300 for a rear brake assembly replacement. Wanting a second opinion, we took it to Gipson’s on Atlanta Hwy and they said there was a tiny leak, but probably not worth the cost to fix it as it stood. They topped off his brake fluid, ABS light turned off, and sent him on his way. Further, the tech seemed to not even know how to drive a stick; I wish he would’ve refused to drive it instead of trying, failing, and causing it to stall.

I’m a very regular customer at this store because the service is always amazing! Recently I called because my tires were making a loud noise that I couldn’t figure out and spoke with Joseph! I was told to bring my car by and they’d check it out for me. I drove by and as promised he and one of his workers checked my car out they quickly figured out the issue & had me on my way in no time with my tire fixed! A positive attitude goes a long way and I’ve always had nothing but top tier service at this store! Keep up the great work guys!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GARY'S!!! 🥰 & I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU •NEVER• USE TIRE CITY & AUTO ON ATLANTA HIGHWAY in MONTGOMERY, AL!! FIRST OFF LET'S TALK ABOUT HOW WONDERFUL GARY'S IS!! It was 02.27.2026 & 10 till 9:30AM probably 5 till. I showed up, upset, it was my mother's birthday & unfortunately my own personal vehicle broke down for good 3 days before Christmas. Merry Christmas to me, lol. So my dad whose a retired Marine has been letting me borrow his truck. The word "marine" should explain to you how strick & mean he can be over the littlest things. Well I walk outside this very morning to take my daughter to school to a completely flat tire. I freaked!! Being a normal flat any normal person really wouldn't freak but being my situation with my dad, I did. Well I drove to 4 different places none willing to help. Except for the joke of a company Tire Cuty & Auto & the guy there thought he was gonna run one over on me just like he did my father 3 yes prior. Than God spoke to me and said, "You need to get your keys and truck & leave & Go!" I did just that. Did no business w/ them, thank goodness. I than ran into someone right after that said, "Go to Gary's!!" So I did & I am so glad I did. I pull up 10 minutes, if that till 930am & note it was my mom's birthday & we had something going on at 930. I said no way I'll make it. I pull up. They come running out. I explained my situation and they wasted no time!!!!! They immediately, & i mean immediately took the truck back , worked on it and had it fixed in absolutely no time!! Maybe 5 minutes, 7 minutes max!! Look i had no money on me for real, maybe $40 & God blessed me through them. They definitely looked out for me without me even asking for it. A true blessing and than what even surprised me is the music they had playing in the background, religious music!! KLoveRadieStation!! The employees, do mechanics there are absolutely so professional, respectful, caring, understanding, and they are not their to take advantage of you just to get your money. They care more about helping you, helping others than anything. Let me say, I made it on time to my mother for her Birthday thingy on time!! If I never listened to God and left Tire City & gone to Gary's instead I never would have made it and I also would have been -$50.- short for a hole in a tire that just needed to be plugged. Instead I left with all my money, a smile on my face, goodness in my heart, happiness in my soul, and gratefulness all over & it was all because of God working through Gary's!!
