Everyone, but especially Cayden was great to work with. They made the process easy and was patient with me when I decided I wanted a different color interior than we had originally agreed upon. They allowed me to make the change. It was a positive experience.

One of the quickest and most pleasant experience that I have ever had when purchasing a car. My salesman Mett and all the other salesman and managers was just great.

Cayden my sales person was very helpful in my car purchase. He took the time to go over all the features of the 2025 Santa Fe before we even went for a test drive. I told Cayden that I was looking at several vehicles before I made my purchase. He was not very pushy like some salesman can be. We took the Santa Fe for a test drive and he was great at showing me the safety features of the Santa Fe. After test driving several other SUV's, I ended up back talking with Cayden and worked a deal on the 2025 Santa Fe SEL.

Great experience did everything by text messaging with Evan never saw the car and made the deal was really at dealership about 1 hour and fifteen minutes to test drive and sign the paperwork and leave. Only suggestion have the car 100% ready upon arrival and detail guy needs a little more detail work , plastic on a lot of things. But Evan handled the deal professional and I was so pleased no add on junk to hassle with like nitrogen tires for 500 dollars none of this it was great and I would suggest to anyone looking for a Hyundai call Evan retired military and super great.

We are very happy with our experience at Keith Hawthorne Hyundai of Gastonia. Didn’t think buying a car from a dealership would be easy, but the staff were friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. Answered all our questions and were professional through the whole process. No pressure, no hassle, definitely coming back next time we need a vehicle.

THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU HAS BEEN CONTACTED!! SCAM WARNING, DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!! So I received this “dealopoly” sweepstakes type paper in the mail which says if you match 3 of the same kind under the pull tabs you will the prize beside it. I pulled them up and one of them had three cars matching which says you win a $1000 dollar gift card. Not thinking about it I then drove 30 minutes to the dealership and told them I won. The man asked me for my drivers license and what the year of my car and mileage was right of the bat which was odd to me. I told him reluctantly but let him know I was here for the prize. He then proceeded to try and sell me a new car, which I was not interested in. He tried to get me to look at cars and I eventually told him I was going to leave if pressured anymore. The salesman then tells me to come over to a “prize board” and tells me that if my prize conformation numbers don’t match with the prizes on the board I only get a $5 gift card. I told him that it showed that the prize for what I won was $1000 dollars and explained how shady that was and how others in the dealership were under the same impression. He then pulled out the rules and tells me that it is in there, that it’s just how it is and didn’t even get my 5 dollars. I will never be back to this dealership because you are blatantly lying to someone and luring them into the dealership to try and sell more cars. This is fraud. If you get this in the mail throw it in the trash and don’t go because you will be lied to by the sales reps. Misleading ads are why dealerships get a bad rap and I don’t want anyone else to fall for this.

Thomas, Paul, and Christian were extremely helpful and thorough with their explanations and made the entire process simple and easy to understand. Thomas made the experience exciting and knew every detail about the car we were interested in. All of the guys were also very personable and cared to get to know us. Recommend 100%. 10/10 experience.

I was due for my annual inspection and decided to have a thorough service and fluid check on my car. When I made the appointment, I called the service center and was greeted by a lovely young woman (I can’t remember the name) who helped me with the appointment and my needs. When I arrived at the service center, I was delighted to be assisted by Aaron, who was kind, polite, and professional. They took the time to explain the needs of my car and the prices involved, while I relaxed in the very comfortable waiting room. Many people might say, “Your car is 13 years old, why go to the dealership?” But little do they realize that they’ve answered their own question. I’ve decided to remain a loyal customer to their service center, and when the time comes for me to purchase a replacement, this is the only dealership I’ll go to. Many Thanks Ina J. Serpico

Today Wow, the sales management team will do anything to get you in the door. Make promises over the phone with a cash deal and they raise the price to put you out of the price range never seen a dealership ever be so irresponsible with their math and their numbers beware the list price online add 10% That’s what they’ll get you for. Don’t be that stupid. There’s other dealerships that will work harder for your business. Disappointed a first time car buyer promises made that we would be close to 14 five Internet. Tell me are we close?

I'm having to go back for a 2nd visit to the service center for a certified pre-owned 22 sonata with a level 4 extended warranty. I've done all the all annual service checks and recommended repairs with Hyundai dealership service centers yet the car still loses power to the motor while driving and all the dash lights come on. They couldn't get me a loaner the first time and I was cool. But let's see how this 3rd time goes for me to update my review. Id hate to think that Hyundai doesn't take my safety seriously as one Hyundai service center in Ft Mill simply cleared the errors said the car passed and sent me home $50 later. Imagine driving on the interstate in the fast lane and you can't get gas to the motor. This is what happened to me and they are acting like it's no big deal. And now it's happening more frequently the more I send it in for service. I'm really trying to be patient but this is the third time and if Terrell Johnson doesn't think I know the difference between a service and sales...listen I'm just putting things on record. It's a shame you have to beg and research for what's owed to you especially when you do all the right things. Hyundai consumer affairs expect my call. Drafting a letter is also not hard to do as YOU have breached warranty and I'm now well researched on my rights due to y'all playing in my face. Stay safe y'all.

I would never recommend anyone take their vehicle here. They do subpar work with absolutely no communication on the process or what is even being done to the car. On 1/18 my sun roof broke leaving the front open a few inches. I called and they said they would be able to take it that day. I brought the car in and waited several days with no update. Once I messaged I received an update which included a repair cost of 7200 and the need to completely replace the sun roof assembly. I couldn’t afford this and asked if the roof could just be closed. They confirmed they could do this if they did SOME disassembly and began to work more on the car. After almost 2 weeks with no update I called in again to ask if the car was ready for pick up the next morning. I was informed that it may be ready but they needed to do a pressure test. When I inquired further they told me they disassembled most of the sunroof and weren’t able to get the front 100% closed so they were concerned about leakage. The fix for this was putting DUCT TAPE on my car! They didn’t even make me aware of this until I called that they would be putting duct tape on my nice car that I still owe money on. This is obviously unacceptable that they were going to send my car home with duct tape on it and not even tell me until I came to pick it up! The service manager was contacted who said he would investigate the issue. Later that day we were contacted back by the service manager who told us they would contact Hyundai corporate to see if they would do a goodwill gesture to fix the car and if not they would send it to a person in charlotte. After that we heard absolutely nothing for a week. We called and left a voicemail for both the service manager and GM with no response back. Due to this we went into the dealership to get answers requiring people to leave work early because they were incapable of using a phone. Once inside we spoke with the GM who did not seem to care in the slightest. The vehicle was not stored indoors. During our conversation I brought up a concern from my phone call with the technician when I was informed of the duct tape. During that phone call I was informed that the duct tape would need to be changed periodically and that if I wanted ventilation then I could just push up on the glass. This doesn’t even sound like the glass is secured to the vehicle since you can push it up and how do I know it won’t go flying off on the highway. He confirmed that the glass was now secured since it went to charlotte and wouldn’t go flying off. He then proceeded to tell us the car has windows if we need ventilation as if we weren’t aware that the car has windows?? We were never informed when the car went to charlotte or what the quote to fix the sunroof would be from the guy in charlotte. Instead it was taken and serviced without any communication about if the goodwill gesture would be done or even where my car was. If my car is crossing county lines I should be informed! We were informed the car was ready and went outside to get it where we found duct tape residue spanning the entire width of the sunroof. We later found residue on the paneling above the rear passenger side tire. We asked they remove the residue which they did. Once we went back out to the car I found scratches on the rear door on the drivers side down to the metal! I’m not sure if they were there before or after it went to detailing but I know it wasn’t there when I dropped the car off! At this point we were so fed up with these people and knew they wouldn’t care we just cut our losses and left. On the road there is rattling and wind noise. Due to the nonexistent communication, crap repair, and the fact they had my car for a month we contacted corporate. Corporate told us they would send the dealership an FYI that we had called but we had to continue to work with the dealership. The dealership said they couldn’t do anything else but replace the sunroof. If that is the case then why let me pay 970 dollars for a repair that they knew wouldn’t work!

On 03/14/2025 I purchased the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe XRT from Keith Hawthorne Hyundai and my experience was great from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring I felt comfortable and well-informed throughout the process. I was looking for something specific, and they took the time to understand my needs and preferences. I am always impressed with their professionalism and customer-focused approach. It’s why I continue to do business w/ them. The salesman Daniel was knowledgeable, friendly, and never pushy. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and helped me select the perfect vehicle based on my needs and budget. They were transparent about pricing, available promotions, and the options I had for financing. Overall, I am happy with both my new 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe XRT and my experience at Keith Hawthorne Hyundai. The customer service is always top-notch, and they made the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

As a woman, I haven’t had entirely positive experiences with car buying. I have rarely been taken seriously and have a history of car salesman being bit backhanded with their approach. Cayden truly changed car buying for me! He was diligent, helpful, and truly asked the right questions. It was the first truly positive car buying experience I have had so far. They offered me an extremely competitive deal on my trade in and offered all of the incentives I qualified for. The general manager and finance folks were the cherry on top, getting me exactly the rate I needed and a heck of a deal. I can’t recommend Cayden and the entire team here enough!

Went in to purchase a Toyota 4Runner yesterday. And let me tell you, Larry Gibson and the staff were outstanding! Extremely kind and respectful and also very knowledgeable. Larry answered all my questions and gave me a lot of insight into the vehicle. He was able to get me an amazing deal on it and even reached out to me the next day to see how the vehicle was treating me and my family. He gave me his personal phone number and told me to reach out if I ever had any questions. I could not have felt more at home, these are good ppl and know you will be treated with integrity when you come here.
