Absolutely love Kevin's! My husband and I have had our vehicles here a few times now and every time has been an absolute pleasure. This most recent visit, my car was having all kinds of issues. They thoroughly inspected the car and gave me helpful suggestions, told me what was worth fixing and what just didn't make financial sense to do on an older car. I really appreciate their honesty. The items that were fixed were done well. And of course, it is always a pleasure to see Axel! :)

Paid $140 for "diagnostics" and got "observations". Report was "no squeaks heard. Checked front bearings, tie rod and ball joints. All okay" No mention of brakes. I asked if the wheel was pulled and brakes looked at. Tech said yes and all looked fine. They did let me know they found a "squishy belt with coolant and oil" which I told them about initially. I wanted to know why since I couldn't figure it out. After taking to another shop for second opinion, brakes were obviously the culprit once you took the wheel off to inspect. Also, retaining clips were on backwards which is my fault, but the fact it was not caught makes me question exactly what I paid for. The other shop was able to DIAGNOSE the leak which was not where Kevin's theorized it was. People were nice, but the diagnostics were lacking. Edit: Saw response from owner. I specifically asked if they pulled wheel and visually inspected brakes. I was told yes. I told front desk about coolant leak upfront and that I was unable to determine source. Anyone could look under then hood and determine a leak was occurring. Maybe our definition of diagnostics is different. I gave the symptoms, history and my own observations to aid in the diagnosis of the problem beyond there is a leak. . I can't find the quote I was given to repair the leak, but your shop was more than capable of assigning a price to repair that would not have solved the problem. Even the "diagnosis" you claim I did not specifically request was wrong. It was not pursued past an ocular scan. I paid a diagnostic fee. I didn't receive any diagnosis of the problems. Only observations. I didn't ask or tell the other shop anything different from what was requested at Kevin's at the time of drop off. The difference is that you charge a fee that requires the customer to point out specifically where to look.

We use Kevin’s Auto for our company work trucks. Being a construction business that tows heavy trailers daily, it is pertinent that our fleet is always in operation. They have done regular maintenance as well as more advanced work such as diagnostics, repaired broken engine valve springs (was told by another shop it was a failed head gasket) and also a shorted wire in the steering column blowing a fuse. Our trucks see 30k miles a year and are used and abused by our employees. They call you every step when things are discovered and update with work/price change. They ask for approval before continuing and have never had a surprise fee/cost. We continue to use them, trust them and recommend them to anyone.

I brought my car into Kevin's for several things that needed to be replaced. I was skeptical in the beginning as I was going to this new shop that I found on Google. For those repairs I was quoted a price that I found to be reasonable. After they looked over my car, it was found that I did not need one out of the three fixes and was given a new cost to repair. Once I picked up my car, the final cost was even less. I was truly happy about the service. Everyone was so nice and polite, and my car is rolling good. I think I have found my new go to auto shop.

I believe they do good work, but I am concerned about their lack of integrity. The mechanic tore up an aftermarket part I had on the engine - put a grinder to something a grinder shouldn't be on and gouged it. He replaced part of it with an inferior part (a regular nut instead of a nylock - big difference), but should have replaced the entire part. They didn't say anything to me, either to ask about how to remove the part or that they tore it up trying, and they seemed to have a nonchalant attitude when I called them on it. The whole thing was easily avoidable. (The owner's reply does not make sense, and I can prove it. I'd like the opportunity to discuss this with them and reconcile it.) Edit: Just discovered the fan shroud was not reinstalled correctly. I'll have to fix that today.

I was worried about my old Opel limousine since parts for the car are almost impossible to come by in the states. Turns out it was possible and they had fixed the Schalter issue I had with the car and additionally head lights were also possible to replace. I recommend, great work

Edit: in response to owner: I never once stated I did my own work and needed to verify anything I simply asked if they balanced new turbos before I looked into purchasing one. If they weren’t rude and had asked for clarification instead of quickly dismissing my inquiry with an attitude they would’ve known I needed one to be installed. The simple fact that they responded like this shows the owner clearly lies and is a dishonest person. I hate to give one stars to local small business but it’s the truth and it’s sad they would make up something like that to respond with to make their company look better but do not trust them! Original review: I called to ask if they offered turbo rebalancing services. The woman who answered said she didn’t know what that was, then asked what vehicle it was for. I explained it would be on a BMW, and instead of transferring me to a technician or asking for more details, she quickly said they don’t do that. She was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the call. What makes it worse is that their website states their mechanics are ready to handle anything your vehicle needs, which is clearly not true. If this is how they handle questions before even looking into the service, I would not trust them with any of my vehicles.

Needed the a/c system inspected due to concerning noises and failure to cool well, and needed a couple of other odds and ends checked while I had the car in a shop. Also needed it all done within a very tight time frame as I was only in town for a week. Kevin’s was very understanding and flexible to meet my time frame, and actually finished ahead of schedule. Along those lines, the final cost actually came in below the estimate which was fair and reasonable to begin with (based on having similar work done on previous vehicles at different shops). I am sure there will be times where you might find better pricing, but I feel like you’d be hard pressed to find better customer service.

Brought my 2005 Silverado to Kevin's for a no start issue. Had some CAN Bus system issues causing this. Im a car guy and have done all of my own auto automotive work for nearly 20 years. Building engines, reworking harnesses for engine swaps, front end alignments, & custom fabrication. I've done about all that can be imagined. Was hesitant to let someone else work on it but I just couldn't figure this one out & I've really gotten burned out on working on stuff lately. Was recommended Kevin's by another well known shop in the area. Called made an appointment to drop the truck off on a specific day. Was told if I dropped it off between 7-9am I would have a call with a diagnosis & possibly repaired that afternoon. I dropped the truck off at 7am & that's is exactly what I got by 4pm. They have definitely earned a new customer when they are needed. Will definitely be recommending them to anyone I come across.

After 3 failed attempts to get my 2013 Passat repaired at the local Volkswagen dealer, I took it to Kevin's as I had heard good things about their service. The car had quirky electrical issues and needed some expert evaluation skills to diagnose. After a few days, my car had the correct part replaced, reprogrammed, and back up and running. All during the time it was in the shop, I was kept informed of the progress of the work being done and the projected cost involved. I was very impressed with the service and communication provided by Kevin's and highly recommend them.

Kevins Auto Repair was fantastic!!! They were extremely professional and friendly on the phone. I tried them because I was told they are Honda specialists in town and boy are they! George did a great job repairing my 2006 Honda Element starter and tires. They also fixed some things that multiple repair shops in the past had never even mentioned to me! My Honda is running better than I have felt it run in years!!! Highly recommend their shop. I’ll definitely be taking my Honda and other vehicles to them in the future!
