The absolute worst ever. The owner and business should never be in business. Lied to me and tried to take advantage of me over 3 plus months. Had to get police involved. Don't trust this person to even hold a penny for you. Disgrace to the human race. I'd give zero stars if possible.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP!!!! HE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND MOST CERTAINLY A CON ARTIST. Took $2700 of my money for repairs he never did. Had to also get police involved and ultimately had to take him to court. Worst experience I ever had.

Our car has been at this shop for over 6 months. We were told over 25 times that our car would be ready. Each time we were told that it would be ready the next day and it hasn’t been fixed nor has it been returned.

[0 Stars] Very unhappy with his service. On Friday, 29 June, I placed a call to this establishment reference a price to install two low beam bulbs (that my husband pre-purchased). Carl quoted $84.50. I specifically asked "For both sides?", and he said "Yes". Being that he was the cheapest, we made arrangements to have the bulb installed the following morning at 10am. First off, he was tardy. Secondly, when my husband went to pick up the car, he charged him $80 PER SIDE! ($160) My husband paid the money and left. Once I was told, I called Carl and he said he put the charge in his system and that's the fee (then he mumbled mechanic terms I'm unfamiliar with). I would've gone to a different auto shop where I was quoted $100, for both sides! DO NOT GO HERE! He'll tell you one thing, then take your money!

The worst I have have ever experienced. Very unprofessional. He has had my car for 6 days for transmission work. Everyday I would call and be promised my car would be ready that day. He would close at the end of day with no phone call about my car. When called and asked questions, he would catch an attitude. This is my six and my car still isn't ready. DO NOT TAKE YOR CAR THERE. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED AMD MAD AND READY TO GO TO JAIL messing with this man. I pushed one star but he deserves a minus 5 star.

He really needs 0 stars! Got $9000 from my husband and I’s insurance and to date, has not repaired the car! Carl lied for months saying he did repairs and was waiting on parts! Went into his shop to discover he had done NOTHING to the car!! He’s had our car since August 2017, he still hasn’t fixed the car and it’s March 2018! SCAM ARTIST ALERT!!! Do not take your care here for even a simple oil change!! Stay tuned for the result!

I had a great experience using Carl's services! My head gasket blew going southbound on the Bay Bridge Tunnel in the work zone on Friday. I called around to a few places but Carl had the quickest available turn around time. Once he got it, he diagnosed the problem and wrote me up a fair quote for what needed to be done. Come Monday, he finished his test drive of my car and I went and picked up my vehicle. No hassles, haggling, or delays whatsoever. Carl has great interpersonal skills and can be reached throughout the day by phone or text, making the process of keeping myself updated easy and less stressful. Thank you Carl!

SHOULD BE IN PRISON, IT WILL HAPPEN!!!! Do not take your vehicle here, this person has fake reviews, he is a scammer, commit acts of fraud, pretty much knows how to steal your car right from you. I had to take him to court to try and get my car back, had it towed there on June 1, 2021 and it is still there, he has not repaired it, you can go by there right now and see a 2015 grey Cadillac backed in by the grass and he has other vehicles blocking it in so that I can not have it towed away. I had to call the President of Deep Creek Commerce just to get the car out of the garage he had stored for months. He lies every day and say that the car would be ready, even said that he buried his son, I drove by and hour later, he was sitting in the chair at the garage. He has over $100.000.00 in judgments in the Chesapeake GDC court for auto repairs and scamming people out of their car and money. A disgrace. To make a very long story short please do not take your car there, he sounds like he is professional but he will lie to you in front of your face. Please review all of the reviews and court records in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach VA. Finally got the vehicle back, October 8, 2021. Catalytic converter taken off, laid on the floor of the car, vehicle not drivable, but was drivable when taken in!! Chesapeake Sheriff’s office assisted me with picking up the vehicle! File legal documents if your vehicle is not repaired and any monies that you have lost. Chesapeake courts are on your side, if you have been done wrong!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! King Carl originally quote $3200 for repairs. We declined and went to pick the vehicle up due the expensive cost of the repairs. Mr. Carl began to tell us how God laid it on his heart to complete the repairs for $1500 which is what I told him was the most I would be willing to put into the car. I asked him if the work could be done in 2 weeks because my son needed his car for school and work. He said "absolutely". I gave him $1000 cash because according to him his credit card machine was down and he needed to order the parts right a way. Long story short My husband and myself chased Carl down for 3 months before I had to sit outside his shop and demand to get my son car or I would call the cops. We got excuses every other day about him having family emergencies, him being sick to finally he had cancer. The day I sat outside his shop until he gave me my son car back, he told me I needed to be more patient and understanding. He said we were both black and I should know how it is. Shocked by the words coming from his mouth I told him he was not an honest/truthful man and race had nothing to do with the issue. I asked him if he had completed all the work I paid him to complete. He said yes. I did not make it 2 blocks before the car ran hot cut off and would not start. My husband went back to the shop and had Carl come to the car to look at it. Carl told us it was a fan sensor he could fix it in a couple days. We would need to tow the car back. I told him I would be taking the car to another shop for repairs. He tried to convince me that would be a bad idea. According to Carl "It's not wise to have a mechanic go behind another mechanic's work". I told him I would take my chances. I took it to another shop and was informed the problem was exactly what I paid Carl to do. He had not done the work. I called him and he said he would call me back. It has been 2 weeks and I have not heard back. The repairs for my son car was quoted at $950 from 3 different shops. Not $3200 or $1500 which Carl quoted. Carl took $1000 from my 17 year old son kept his car for 3 months. Lied and said he did the work and he did not

ABSOLUTELY THE “WORST” TYPE OF MECHANIC!!! Carl is a fraud. I honestly don’t know how he’s allowed to continue to do business out of his building as he’s consistent with “NOT“ doing work on vehicles he’s paid to repair. He has duped several hard working people out of money for repairs he never does. Carl kept my vehicle for over 6 months. He kept stringing me along every week coming up with more and more reasons why the work wasn’t completed. Every week there was a new problem, new issue. The worst part is I couldn’t take my vehicle because he had it taken apart. Something told me to google him because this was starting to seem “Crack-Headish” Then I found several reviews from people with similar and the same circumstances. DO NOT… I REPEAT… DO NOT take your car to him or his shop. It will be the worst mistake for your vehicle and your money. He called the police on me because he was afraid I was gonna remove his teeth, but, I just wanted my vehicle and to give him a Chris Rock slap! However, I just settled for my vehicles return and this review. Hopefully you‘ll do the right thing. Most of his good reviews seem suspect….

If I could give this place a zero star review I would. He's had my boyfriend's car for over a week with minimal communication. He has consistently said the car would be done by the end of the day, only for us to show up and the car is still NOT DONE. He lied about a sealant being done in 2 hours, after doing our own research the sealant takes TWENTY FOUR HOURS TO SET. When we showed up at the garage last night at 9pm WHEN THE CAR WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE it took us an hour and a half to get Carl on the phone just for him to say that he still had to reattach part of the car and we would still not be getting the car last night. Not to mention he ordered the wrong parts to begin with setting us back severely. Carl said he was there Sunday "grinding to get the car done" and yet, here we are 8 days later and still no car. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I would avoid this place like the plague if you want your car done in a timely manner.

He has had my car for over 8months after I had already paid him over $3,000 from me and my warranty. He has threatened my life and as well as not giving me back my key nor my money, after tell me the car was going to be fix this and that day over 100 times I done heard it from him. I highly recommend do not attempt to have his services as I am writing this I have yet to receive my keys to my car nor the money.
