Extremely professional and does a wonderful job. Did an awesome job on my 2008 Subaru Outback for headgasket issues and was shocked at how much less it cost than any other shop I was quoted or spoke with. I cannot explain how grateful I am they took the time to do everything thoroughly with my car. They put in a new waterpump, spark plugs, fixed some sensors, flushed fluids, oil change, and plenty of other things and did not charge us an arm and a leg. James did it because he is a fabulous mechanic and wants you to have a safe and working car. He loves business but does not want you to return for another issue on his work and stands by it. Will always recommend this shop. Only mechanic I trust who is not my own family.

I had to drive to Cleveland from North Carolina for work and the morning I was returning home, I suddenly kept having to pull over to the side of the interstate due to my engine overheating as I was passing Akron. It was around -10 degrees that morning, and a winter storm was supposed to hit Virginia and NC that evening with snow and ice. I called 4 other shops and told them my situation, but Lake Shore was the first one I found willing to work me in that day. They dropped me off somewhere warm where I could wait and immediately took the car into their shop and spent over an hour troubleshooting and test driving, only to find nothing mechanically wrong with the car. It turns out a chunk of antifreeze had frozen and blocked coolant flow, and Lake Shore taking my car indoors and letting it idle had melted the blockage. They even picked me up in my car and let me drive it back to the shop to verify the issue was gone since it would overheat in less than 2 minutes before. Since they found nothing mechanically wrong, they refused payment even though they fixed my problem. I expected whoever I left the car with to hold the vehicle hostage with a way over the top price tag, or to find extra "broken" items since they knew I was stuck and trying to get home, but they didn't. They didn't let me pay anything. I drove the car all the way home with no further issues, and a simple drain and fill of the coolant will prevent it from happening in the future. Lake Shore Auto turned a potential disaster that would have left me stranded and away from my family for days into a slightly longer travel day than expected. They were amazing, and if I lived in the area, they would have my business for life.
