Very good at CNG car fixes. Honest people. Treat them as you'd expect to be treated and they will treat you the same in return. I've done business with this shop for 10+ years and recommended them to many of my friends who have also told me they were happy with Lancer. I trust the shop manager, Justin, with any repairs he's willing to take on at this shop. Make sure you're open about what you'd like them to do, and not do without a phone call for approval, and that's what will happen. They have Chevy and GM tools/equipment to diagnose most anything like a dealer does from my experience.

Lancer is great! Be prepared to spend top Dollar on OEM parts, but they will do everything right. I've utilized them for diagnostic services several times and then done the work myself. They're really great for everybody because they know how to work on trucks. Can't tell you how many other places I've gone who literally made up things about my trucks. But Lancer always gets straight to the solution. I had replaced almost everything on my F350 brakes but still not working. The tech At Lancer figured out that I had put in a bad booster, should have gone into them at the first place would have saved me a week's worth of work!

I had an issue come up on Saturday with my car. I was being quoted by other mechanics for quite a bit. Family recommended I go to Lancer Garage. They were able to get it in right away on Monday. Found a solution for my car that was way more doable price wise and was done by the end of the day. They constantly called to keep me updated on the status and were honest when they found a better solution that was cheaper. I won't be going to any other mechanic!

…While driving from the West Coast, my car encountered an issue, and I was fortunate to find Lancer Garage…..The team there was incredibly professional and efficient, diagnosing and fixing the problem swiftly…..What's more, they refused to charge me for their services, citing it as a minor issue! I was unfairly charged $150 just for them to read diagnostic codes. Outrageous and unfair, and they say it's because it costs them time and resources. To use a little machine for a few minutes? No it doesn't. They never told me it'd cost that much when I handed over my keys, nothing I signed said anything about that charge, it's absurd. What's worse is that they didn't even diagnose my vehicle correctly. All they could tell me was that they were "battery codes" and I'd need a new $2700 hybrid battery, even though I literally wrote down and told them the battery has already been replaced, tested, and is fine. If you Google the codes, it tells you the inverter isn't charging the battery, so I paid $150 for them to incorrectly diagnose my car. I called them to ask if they could help with the inverter at least, and they said they'd look up the costs and call me back. They never called me back. I was able to buy an inverter from a Prius dealer for $180, who said it'd be a $200 labor job at a local shop. Called Lancer, really trying to give them a chance, an Lancer's quote was $5900. I want my money back. They did nothing to earn my hard earned money, and were NOT honest when incurring that charge, nor can they be trusted to provide honest or reliable quotes. I want my money back.

Lancer Garage is the best in northern UT! when I originally bought my car back in 2018, I brought lots of the ones I test drove in to have them look over before purchasing. now, years later after my engine misfire on the freeway, they kept my Sonata overnight, did a diagnosis, and even called Hyundai to double check my warranty before I had to take it over to them for the repair(s). great service, no unnecessary charges or fees, they genuinely just want to help.

I bought this 1989 camper van from my client, he recommended Lancer Garage and I’ve been using their services since then, I think they very polite and thoughtful. My van is running great now. i’m not a very expert person on mechanical price but I think the price they charged is fair. I have had to take my Expedition back so many times due to incomplete work on a manifold gasket. Just recently I had to replace parts that were damaged during work that was done at Lancer and spent money. Not to mention all the time my truck spent in their shop due to incorrect work multiple times.

Have been going here for more than 5 years. I left a review when I first started going here, but I’m not sure where it went. So here I am again! As a female it’s important to find repair shops that don’t make you feel screwed over financially or uncomfortable. This is that place for me. The one time a member of my family was uncomfortable here - it was addressed and solved within a matter of minutes. That means the world to me! I go here for all my oil changes and any other auto work I need done. They are so kind. They offer free WiFi, reading materials, and drinks (some drinks do cost, but certainly not as much as a gas station! I think it’s $1). Rich and Josh are my favorites for sure!

Do not take your hybrid here for AC service. Took it here for a recharge, month later the AC stopped working. The compressor failed, and while on the phone, they said they used the same ac lines and machine they do for conventional compressors as they do for hybrids, and did not seem to think there was a difference in hybrid compatible UV dye and whatever is on the shelf, saying the dye does not have Oil. UV dye is almost always suspended in oil, and hybrid compatible dye must be used. Oil contamination via lines used with pag oil or UV dye can and will damage your compressor in quantities as little as 1% from POE with PAG oil. I specifically took this vehicle to a hybrid shop because any hybrid shop servicing AC should know this, but as far as I can tell from that phone call this was not followed.

I don’t live in Salt Lake City but my daughter does and twice while visiting her I had some issues with my car and brought it in to Lancer Garage. Both times they did a thorough check of my car and fixed what was needed with very little advance notice. They are thorough, professional, very kind and knowledgeable. I was extremely grateful for Lancer Garage when I took my car into get fixed. The Ford Dealership had quoted me an extremely outrageous price for some routine service, and the experience was absolutely terrible. I went to Lancer and had the complete opposite experience. I've been going. to Lancers with my vehicle for over 25 years.They're up front with diagnosis, they give you an honest opinion on what needs to be done. So you can make a good decision. When They give you a timeline.They will have it done , just in case they find something that they are concerned about. They will tell you. Everyone there is friendly and very professional.
