Was extremely excellent- find it hard to believe that I new vehicle 20000 miles !!! 18 months old needed new brakes and new back tires with that being said I am getting out of the Range Rover business and getting into a Tesla $5200 for service after 18 months of spending close to $100,000 on a car is ridiculous

I want to first highlight that the customer service here was excellent. The staff performed a very thorough diagnosis on my Range Rover, clearly outlining both the major concerns and the minor issues that could be addressed later. This gave me peace of mind and clarity about the condition of my vehicle. The only drawback was that my car had to remain in their care, and I wasn’t offered a loaner vehicle. When I called to inquire, I was told the next available appointment for a loaner wasn’t until September 9th, this was a minor inconvenience for me. Overall, I would recommend them, especially for their transparency in diagnostics and strong customer service.

Mr. Reinaldo Fuentes, my agent was excellent. The service team made me feel at ease. Very Knowledgable regarding the services provided by the dealer. Mr. Fuentes explained everything step by step. The entire dealership has been great! I purchased my car from this location; and all services need each and every time have been completed above and beyond expectations. The service department and my advisor are always courteous, helpful and listen to each concerns I have. The entire process from being greeted; to checking in my car; ease of acquiring a loaner car; being notified throughout the process and picking up my car upon completion are easy and pleasant. Service Department is definitely a well “oiled machine”!

HIGHWAY FREAKIN ROBBERY is the only way I can describe the service department at this dealership. Almost $4000 for brakes and rotors on a 13,000 mile vehicle?? Absolutely ridiculous. And the service advisor Chris thought he was gonna pull the wool over my eyes and say oh no, this is normal.This is all you’re going to get on the Range Rover. Then to top it off, they charged me $42 for the loaner car fuel, saying I didn’t return it at the same level I got it. Absolute LIE. I returned it the exact same way I received it. Service advisor Chris had the nerve to tell me “we’re splitting hairs”, when I complained about the bill. Public announcement: I will never buy another Range Rover ever again. And this was my 4th one.

I had received my car from an awful collision shop and there were different alerts on my dashboard. I took my car to Land Rover Houston Central and my service advisor - Edward Diaz handled everything in the most spectacular way! First of all, Edward paid so much attention to detail. He is so polite, professional and helpful. Edward provided me a loaner, then he and his team fixed my car in less than 24 hours (super fast turnaround). He even helped to carry boxes that were in my car because I was moving. Edward is the absolute best service advisor and I’m so thankful for him and his team for resolving all those issues in the most stress-free way. I confidently drove away with my car and peace of mind. I’m never taking my car to anywhere else, except Land Rover Houston Central!

The cost of service at this dealership is outrageous. I was quoted a repair in December for $10k and went to a Range Rover specialist and had the same repairs done for $4500. In addition their communication is virtually nonexistent. I recently dropped off my car due to an electrical issue. From Thursday evening to Monday afternoon, no communication from them about the status of my car repairs except to request authorization for payment. I would only receive updates on the vehicle if I called or texted first. They replaced my battery on Saturday and did not tell me, so I assumed that the work was not going to be done by Monday. I went out of pocket to rent a car because they had no loaners and then I texted around lunch for an update only to be told that the car would be ready for pick up in an hour and they would text me when it was ready. Fast forward another three hours, still no communication from the dealership so I texted again and they said the car was done. I would truly expect MUCH better communication for the pricing of their service. Nearly $1000 later it took two days to replace a battery. I’m so over Range Rover/Land Rover that I am just trying to sell my car.

When I purchased my Range Rover, I had to decide where I would take it for service because I purchased it out of state. The earlier reviews for LandRover Central weren't always good but I tried them anyway. I am so happy that I did. They are always helpful and extremely thorough with my vehicle. Rolando was great. When we had purchased the Defender an appt was set to rotate tires and perform maintenance check at 6k miles. We kept this appt and added wheel repair that was under warranty for which we experienced no charge. When we go tthere I was told they did away with maintenance program and tire rotation was no longer needed. ( I have never heard of such a thing. Front tires wear different than back tires and need to be rotated at least by 10k miles.). Then we were told that oil change was not required til 20k miles. At the time of purchase we were told it was a must by 15K, and that was included in the maintenance package. Maintenance and service was part of our decision in making the purchase. My take is due to the price of the Land Rover products, many people cannot afford to purchase because the note is too high. Most people lease, and Land Rover is trying to save money by deferring maintenance on leased vehicles. The problem is they assumed I was leasing. Not so! Being an owner I wish not to defer maintenance as discussed at time of purchase. Land Rover Central is a good dealership, and I would recommend. But, the policy being enforced by Land Rover is not good.

I booked my oil change the night before at 7:05 pm for 7am the next morning. Land Rover took my late appointment and I met Kristopher Zaire at 7am on the dot. The appointment details did not fully go through on his computer but he greeted me with a smile. I told him that I was trying to go out of town in a couple hours and was in a hurry. He said he would do everything he could to get me on my way very soon. Then, thinking it would take a couple hours I asked for a ride to my house, without putting that down on my initial booking. Within minutes, Kristopher arranged to have an Uber drop me off at my house. Thinking I had time to run a few errands I took my wife’s car to do so. After 57 minutes, I got the call my car was ready to be picked up. I was pleasantly surprised! My car was serviced, washed and cleaned completely all in under an hour! Now that’s great service! Thanks to Kristopher and the entire Land Rover Central Team, I left on my trip early and quite confident in the awesome vehicle I was driving. Thanks for the excellent service!

Roland Flores is a great service lead. He always takes excellent care of me and my 2017 Range Rover Sport. The service department is also great about only recommending services that are truly necessary. I really appreciate that and don’t have to worry that I am spending more money than necessary.
