Lee was fantastic! I have a 2005 Honda CRV with 175,000 miles on it. Thought I had a transmission going out and would have to get a new car. Decided to stop in at Lee’s and ask him to take a look. He took my car for a spin and knew immediately what it was. Thanks to Lee I only had to spend $300 for a quick fix and the car and transmission almost run like new. Highly recommend Lee as he is honest, fair, friendly, and will get the job done right. Thanks Lee!

Wow called same day for an oil change and was able to bring my car in same-day. When I came in I mentioned that I’ve been having some loud metal rattling and they checked it immediately and diagnosed it immediately! Not only that I had another odd sound coming from the back plastic banging around for years and no other mechanic was able to figure it out that it was a dangling plastic that just needed to be stabilized(which they did not charge extra for). They fixed 3 things all within 45 min. At a great price. Thank you guys so much!! I’m a happy customer.

In going to be honest with my experience as a dealer. I took my car to this shop as the customer wanted to get the pre-purchase inspection done. The inspection took less than 10 minutes and he strongly advised the customer not to buy the car. When i called the next day to understand why and if there was a bad issue with the car he said that back brakes needed maintenance and a coolant leak. The information given was inaccurate because i took the car to a mechanic right after getting his report, he told me there was no such problem with coolant or brakes. For small dealerships don’t waste your time and take the car to this auto shop if your customer works with them. Truly a waste of time for a inaccurate inspection that takes less the 10 minutes.

I've been getting my Accord serviced here for several years and each time he's been fair and very honest about the work. I have a close friend who owns a European car service shop and I always run by my car issues first to see what I should possibly expect. Lee's has always been consistent and fair about what needed to be done and fair about the pricing. I've come to trust Mr. Lee such that Ii really don't cross check with my other friend anymore. He's been great and it's always such a relief to find a mechanic who is both competent and trustworthy. Fix with confidence! :-)

Hallelujah. An honest mechanic! It's 2 years later and I still love this garage. Update: Still fabulous. ++++++++++ 8 years ago...I was totally blown away when I was charged only $35 for rear brakes that were making a LOUD chunk, chunk, chunk sound. He could have charged $500 and I would have believed that's what the car needed. I've been taking my family's cars to Lee's for a couple of years now. But I didn't know what I gem I'd found. My sister brought her Prius all the way from Carlsbad for Lee's to work on it because we can trust them. Nice people.

Lee's Auto Repair was quick and straight forward with is repair on my 4Runner. His quote for the repair was reasonable it was done by the afternoon. He was even able to work on my wifes jeep cherokee when it needed a repair. I will continue to go to him for my auto mechanic needs in the future.

Honesty and integrity. My family kept urging me to make the 1 hr drive to Lee for my brakes on my Lexus GX460. I live in a very mountainous area that gets snow. I thought I needed front brakes because they felt a little grabby. Lee took all the wheels off and told me I only needed back brakes and the front brakes had 85% left on them. He could have easily told me I need brakes all around but he didn't. He also was done with the back brakes and rotors very quickly. The price was fair. I will return here.

It took my dad the better part of the decade to find a honest reliable mechanic in the area. That mechanic was Mr. Lee - he is straight to the point, honest, and fair. If he tells you something needs to be done, it really does need to be done but he's not going to charge you an arm and a leg for it. He's absolutely fabulous and the first person I turn to if my car has issues. I truly don't know what I would do if he closed down shop.

This shop and Lee are scammers and uneducated. I took my car I was selling to him because the buyers wanted to do a pre-purchase inspection. Knowing the car has no issues I had no problem with that. They took 5 minutes to “inspect” it. Lee told the buyers not to buy it because it had a “bad transmission, bad power steering pump, bad tires & bad brakes”. Well tires were 6 months old with warranty from discount tire and are in perfect shape so I don’t know how he came up with that conclusion. Power steering pump makes no noise, no leaks, fluid is full and good color and it steers with ease. Transmission shifts smooth as it gets. So after that I took my car to a well known trusted mechanic and he spent 2 hours doing an inspection and said there were zero problems with anything Lee mentioned, only needed new brake pads. So I took my car to one more shop just to be certain. The second shop said the same thing, there was no problems with any of what Lee mentioned. These guys are either uneducated or they’re a scam artist who try to claim there are issues with cars when there’s not to get more business. STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHOP! I’m not the only one who delt with this same exact issue I went through. He has a history of doing this and lying.

DISHONEST - My husband and I have had several services performed by Lee in past years in our cars. He was "our guy", we trusted him and referred friends to his shop but unfortunately Lee is not our mechanic anymore. It is with great disappointment that I share this review. Two weeks ago my car presented with a trembling noise and we took it to Lee, who kept it overnight to figure out what was wrong. The next day Lee called my husband and informed that the radiator's fan had to be replaced and that the service would cost us around $700. Based on our previous interactions with Lee my husband gave him authorization to do the job. However, when I went to pick up the car I understood that Lee was putting a generic fan - NOT original Nissan part - and charging us $430 for it plus $290 for labor. I could not believe that the fan could cost that much and searched for it on line. To my astonishment I found that a generic radiator fan for my car costs in average $60 !!!! (I searched more than 10 sites). I told Lee that this was absurd and tried to understand why he was charging us at least FIVE times more for the piece but Lee told me that this was the amount he had paid for. When I asked him to show me the receipt he refused, and told me that I had to pay whatever he charged me "because my husband agreed to it". I had to pay it otherwise I would not take my car home. This was a such a disappointment and a big rip off.

Messed up my car after I went there for brake pad replacement. It wobbles and makes a grinding sound now. Also paid him to get a sensor replaced after he told me that’s why the check engine light was on. The check engine light is still on. He asked me to bring it back. I brought it back twice. The check engine light is still on. I’m not going back.

Honest, reliable, affordable. That's what comes to mind when I think of Lee's Auto Repair. I have taken several cars to Lee for several different reasons. From basic oil changes, to troubleshooting check engine lights, performing 90K mile vehicle inspections, and multi-point used vehicle inspections; he has been a great resource to provide these services. I appreciate the business he offers and I intend to keep taking my vehicles to him for any future needs. I recommend anybody with a Japanese Automobile that needs any kind of service to check his business out.

Lee is a truly honest mechanic. He has yet to charge me a diagnostic fee, and if there’s no issue, he doesn’t make something up to get you to pay. His prices are insanely fair and good. He’s also just a nice guy overall and never makes me feel dumb or cheated as a woman at an auto repair shop. 10/10 recommend.
