I discovered Lewis Auto through a Facebook friend. My son needed his car repaired and she came to the rescue. She's very knowledgeable and professional. Lewis kept in touch with us after the repair. We will be contacting her again for any repairs.

Not only is she a mechanic, but she is a woman! The best part of my experience with her. Christy did an excellent job. She was assuring, upfront and honest about what type of work I needed done. She worked quickly and was reliable when it came to getting my car fixed. I will be going back because I know I will need her again.

My car broke down at night in West Columbia, I called and she came to change my tire within 10 minutes. She’s very professional and reliable anytime I call her. Pricing is reasonable as well. She keeps an open line of communication as well and she answered any questions that I asked. Which made me feel great about choosing her to do work on my vehicle. She explained everything every step of the way.

I don’t ever bash small businesses but this is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!! I will NEVER EVER use Lewis AutoRepair EVER AGAIN! I don’t care how HIGHLY RECOMMENDED she came. She’s a DISGRACE TO SMALL BUSINESSES. I had one of my vehicles towed to her even tho my husband was TOTALLY AGAINST it bc she’s a woman “mechanic”. She was only supposed to replace the alternator but she found some other things tht needed to be fixed so of course I paid to hv everything fixed immediately. I don’t know anything abt fixing cars so I paid wht I was asked to pay! $1600 & maybe a week later the car put my husband down. So of course I was furious. I clled her & had it towed bk to her. Just to get a letter in the mail yesterday where she had it towed off her property & now we owe $700 to the tow company. My husband has tried to cll her several times with no answer but this is her text response. “Good afternoon, your vehicle was removed from my property on nov 5th it was towed by Schroeder's towing on bush river road nov 16th please contact them to retrieve your vehicle.” & this is how she left the vehicle.

My air went out on me and no one local wanted to take the time to help me get the part I needed for my car. Lewis Auto Repair reached out to me and within minutes I was told what I needed. I dropped my car off on a Saturday and it was ready that Sunday. The process was thorough, she’s very professional and the price was very very reasonable. She has a customer for life.

SHE is the best. Very honest and she does not try to break you. She knows her stuff and if she can’t do it, she will let you know. She fixed my air in my sonata hybrid. She did multiple things with my motor in my 2007 Honda Accord. Just amazing

Horrible. I was purposely seeking a mechanic who knew how to work on older cars. I drove 98 miles to Christi Lewis auto repair as she adamantly said she knew about older trucks and claimed her professionalism. We understood it might take her a couple of weeks. However after that time as we called for she would ignore our calls. She also come to find out from her that she lost the key. This was one of the reasons she gave as not being able to test drive after "fixing" it. When we drove down to her shop, the truck started up quickly but a lot of smoke was coming out of both tailpipe. She said it was old that leaked while repairing and it would burn off. My husband opened the hood we seen, including Christie, the left side fuel injector spraying profusely into the carburetor. She gave the excuse that she told us she had to get two parts from two different places. All in all she assured us everything was good to go. We took her word as a "professional mechanic " and headed back home 98 miles away. Following behind my husband as he drove the truck, I still saw the smoke, then began seeing flashes of light from both tailpipes. Called him and told him to stop. When he did, flames started coming out both tailpipe. We called Christie and she pretty much blamed her for rushing to do the work, for calling a tow to take the car to our house instead of back to her shop, and not allowing her to rectify whatever the problem was. We took the car to a dealer and they had to replace most of the work she did. Before taking the truck to Christi, we had the radiator fixed. After bringing home from Christi, the temperature gage does not work...not moving. When we asked her for a refund, again she blamed us. And said shes only give us 190 of the 2000 we paid her and she'd give the refund in 10 days. 10 days later she changed her mind and said only a $68 refund. If I could give her customer service a ZERO I would. She doesn't own up to anything but instead blames the people who trust her for services with their property. Don't take your vehicles to Chrisie Lewis Auto Repair in Columbia SC.
