I’ve been taking my cars to Shane for the past few years after reading the raving reviews on here. However, I called a couple of days ago to make an appointment for a few things (tire change, alignment, and oil change). When he answered, he was obviously annoyed and there was no greeting. He told me he couldn’t balance tires. I said okay and asked if we can do an oil change. I let him know I had my own oil which seemed to bother him. He rudely said “look, you’re gonna have to find another shop.” I’m aware that some shops don’t want you to bring your own parts/fluids, but being rude about it is unnecessary. Needless to say, I’m going to find another shop as he suggested and Shane lost my wife and I (and whoever asks for recommendations) as customers. I decided to be fair and leave three stars for the work he has done in the past, but he has no customer skills.

I have been to Expert Auto Repairs a few times to have various services performed on my car. Shane has gone above and beyond to make sure my car was fixed correctly and fixed in a timely manner. He has actually worked longer hours just to ensure my car was complete and ready for pick up on the day I was told it would be ready. I am a happy customer and will definitely bring my car back to Expert Auto for future repairs.

In the past, Expert Auto had always done great work, and I felt respected as a customer. Unfortunately, I had a different experience this time around as I was trying to schedule an oil change. I tried calling multiple times over the course of several days and finally got a call back a few days later. I scheduled an appointment for 3pm the next day, showed up at 2:50, and was surprised to find all the doors locked and no one inside. There were no signs posted; I got no notification that Shane would not be in that afternoon. I tried calling multiple times and stayed until 3:15, but still nothing. To his credit, Shane did call me later that evening to apologize, but I really have a hard time giving my business to someone who does not communicate with his customers or respect their time enough to keep appointments. Maybe this was a fluke, or maybe the business is undergoing some changes that are affecting communication. Whatever the reason, I hope it improves. I really want to support a small business.

My SUV never ran so good after Shane worked on it. On a trip out of state, my radiator cracked near the top! A temporary fix was to cover the 3" crack with flex tape. It worked enough for my 5 hour drive home. I called Shane at Expert Auto Repair, took my car in, and he fixed the radiator and the brakes were needing work too. It all works beautifully and I am so thankful!

As a college student it’s hard to find quality work at a great price, I’ve tried numerous businesses around here and Expert Auto Repair is by far the best. Friendly but took in vehicle for a "treatment plan." Told them a problem I knew about the windows. They disregarded my knowledge and ignored my advice. This caused further damage than was before. I took it back for them to correct it and not available during working hours. Not too impressed yet other associates say they are excellant. Lets see if this is just one time bad start.
