If you do not know the market pricing, you will be ripped off. It's better going to big franchisor with transparent pricing. I was overcharged by this store once and never went back. They do not have mercy doing business.

Service is awesome here, and by that I mean honest and genuine, they take responsibility for their work, are fair and give the best deals for what you are trying to get done. I had vibrations in acceleration on my minivan's steering wheel and drivers side for a while, and after changing a whole new set of tires and also get alignment done, it didn't go away. After asking 4 different places I decided to go with M STAR, since my mother-in-law had taken the van in before, they said they would waive the $100 inspection fee. (It's higher than a small shop in Alhambra but cheaper than toyota dealer for sure). So now it's free, I'm happy, I take it in and they tell me a few hours later that the 2 axles are unbalanced and they'll need to replace. Turns out it's $900/ea original retail price, but they have OEM w labor&tax $320/ea. Ok, this is big drop for me, but I know it's really important as my wife and I share the same vehicle and we both did not like how dangerous the car felt w the vibrations. So I went ahead to confirm it, When I arrived to pick up the car, get this: They said before they changed these axles out for my mother in law so this is the part's fault and it's on them, - they are waiving the labor fees, - crediting me the full amount I paid last time (showed me the receipt from last time), - sending the fairy new axles in for warranty replacements (showed me pictures they took of the parts and the work) - and all I have to pay for is the difference between the new and better quality axles they put in today and the alignment. Ends up being $230! I'm very happy they were so honest and responsible and good business practice. This place is legit. The people are good. I have written my fair share of reviews on shady and evil auto shops who swindle you or unsuspecting, especially since we didn't know. They could've kept the work from last time from me, I wouldn't have known. But they chose to be honest and genuine, and you CANT ask any more from an auto shop!! Highly recommend!!

Sent my MBZ Sprinter van for repair per recommendation of a smog check station owner. For over four months’ time the shop couldn’t figure out what happen that truck engine couldn’t even start after a week in their shop. Finally they decided to send it to a Mercedes Benz dealer and charge another $5000 to replace the onboard computer and still the engine light wouldn’t go away and still couldn’t pass the smog. The stuffs are always “busy” or on lunch break and horrible at follow up when issue occurs.

They were within my price range. Just don’t like how I have to leave my car over night every single time I bring my car for a repair but they are very nice and understanding people. I will recommend this place to many people but for those who use their car everyday for work and need it 247, then I wouldnt recommend this place. But other than leaving the car over night I love this place. I absolutely trust this place with my car. Thank you

Love this place fair and thorough! I came here a few times twice they didn't even charge me once my right fender came apart backing off a driveway. And my security went bonkers and kept going off I was pleasantly surprized never has anyone not only taken the time to help me but because for them it was minor enough not to charge me they put new clips on the front of my car, so happy with this place and yes i have had my brakes done here and paid for their service of course! just saying they are good people. They go above and beyond then what most would even consider doing. Thank you M STAR

Came here after some trouble on the road. Came in without an appointment but got checked in 20 min. Mac is really nice and non-intimidating. He’s willing to answer and explain any question you may have about your car. The service is fast at a reasonable price. Most of their customers are Chinese, but Mac is fluent in English.
