Poor attention to detail. Repaired door now requires extra force to close consistently and has alot of extra road noise present. Window motion flexes and eventually breaks trim. When shown issues MAACO agent denies there is any problem and blames my mechanic for broken trim. My mechanic replaced the original trim that broke after the door was repaired and the trim broke again after a few weeks of use. I attempted to glue the broken trim back in place (mechanic wants $250 to replace trim set, again). Now Window catches and is struggling to roll up. MAACO agent says window motor is likely failing even though it functions just fine without trim in place.

I initially took my vehicle in for paint and had some issues with the hood bubbling. But, I took it back for warranty work and Brian and his team took care of the issues. The paint looks nicer now and I like the color. With Maaco you will have to pay more to get the higher quality paint that last longer, but it's still cheaper than other shops. Thanks for all the hard work guys and God Bless.

The paint job so far seems really nice. There was great customer service and they were able to take care of my car immediately. I did only do three stars, however, because they scratched up the tint on 2 of my windows and got paint on a couple spots on my interior, like my wheel and seats. Luckily I’ve a very chill person, but I imagine this would make others very mad.

Do not come to this shop I had the worst experience dealing with their business they are not trust worthy I took my car to this shop two years ago for a paint job. My car was originally black when they told me my car was done I went to go see it and they had painted it tan which is not what I asked for. So they repainted the car in three days it was rushed and they didn’t even take off the tan paint. They did such a bad paint job my hood started cracking the first 5 months. There are certain areas where you can still see the tan paint from when they painted over it. A year and a half later I took it back to get the warranty that I paid for. payed 1800 for the paint job with warranty. I spoke to a manager named Bryan to use my warranty while I was showing him the car I told him about the chipped hood and the chipped front bumper I showed him the multiple chips and scratches and the areas that are faded he told me that he can’t cover my chipped hood and bumper due to my hood being fiber glass and that my bumper couldn’t be covered because the chips were caused by rocks and driving which makes no sense he made it seem like I intentionally messed up my car but it was just due to driving on freeway and just having it for so long when I told why can’t he cover my paint with the warranty he said “if we covered everyone’s scratches and chips from rocks we wouldn’t be in business” which pissed me off because it made no sense he was telling me in order to repaint it I would have to pay full price when I was explaining the scratches and faded areas on my car he said I should take it somewhere else to get it buffed out but the paint is chipped scratched and fading and he told me no he would not paint my car and would just fix the chip that was in the back and I would have to pay to get it repainted this company does not keep their warranty and has unreasonable managers do not come to this shop worst experience ever

The paint job itself was great. The only reason I give this a 4 star is when I went to pop the hood of my car I noticed the latch inside the car was positioned out where I couldn't pop my hood. I had my neighbor look at it he said the cable that goes to the hood latch was not right so he messed with the inside of car latch and somehow the cable got positioned right again. I had no problem with this ever happening before I took it to macco.

Got my car repainted here at Maaco this past week and I’m very happy with how it turned out! A few minor imperfections here and there, but overall I’m very happy with the work they did and would certainly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get a quality, affordable paint job. Some before and after photos for reference:

Customer service, quality of servicen and price was great. I took my car in for scratches on the front driver side bumper. The estimate was cheaper than I expected, as well as the ease of scheduling. The finish product was awesome. Id recommend this Macco to all my friends and family.

Let me make this simple, I have gone to Mako autobody and paint a few times. I am always 100% satisfied not only with the quality of the paint job and the paint but the service is absolutely Paramount. Perfect I dealt with Brian. He’s honest straightforward, straight shooter no lies no fluff tells it like it is gives you a price that price that I got was absolutely more than fair and the work that I got was better than best. No runs perfect match on the color the metal flake in the paint everything perfect and what was really great was. He said, bring it in and out. I will have it done tomorrow morning. And it was ready it was perfectly cleaned perfectly masked perfectly sprayed. I could not tell any difference between the factory paint and make those paint except maybe the Mako’s paint was better. No cloudiness perfect sharp image when you look into it this may go on Palo Verde near Ajo is just awesome. Every time I go there I am extremely satisfied with them and I will continue to go there for all my painting needs. Can’t say it enough super high-quality great price great service. I won’t add a photo because photos can tend to make things look worse. They can also make things look better all I can tell you that this whole paint job was perfect and I’m a hard one sometimes to please. I cannot find anything wrong in anyway thank you Brian. You guys all did a great job. I’m so satisfied.

Highly recommend these guys and gals! The two gents and lady that work the front office area were extremely polite fair and super easy to converse with. They made it super easy and comfortable for me. Did an excellent paint job on my truck that needed some loving due to bad roof and hood fade from the AZ sun and also some minor beginning of rust. It only took them 9 business days to get the job done (which is really fast). They took it in for paint without having to deal going through insurance. Though they do as well take vehicle collisions and work with insurance companies but are one of few companies that I found that does still help the community out with vehicle body paint that wasn’t involved in a collision, which my vehicle was not. If and when the time comes, I will definitely utilize them again without doubt. And when someone ask me where I got the job done at, I will happily say there company name and recommend them with confidence.

Purchased the mid-grade paint service (+IC). I'm very pleased with the results. Don't expect flawlessness. Expect a solid paint job that resurrects your vehicle brilliantly. The luster and adherence to the original paint color were exceptional; down the the tiny blue flecks that exist in the color, Nighthawk Black. Job took 7 days from drop off to pick up. See before and after shots.

Our 2013 Honda Civic had been parked outside for years, and the Arizona sun really took a toll on the paint. We couldn’t be happier with how our car looks now — it truly feels like new again! The work was completed within one week, just as Brian promised. Everyone we dealt with was professional, friendly, patient. We hope we won’t need to use the warranty anytime soon, but it’s reassuring to have that three-year coverage. We would definitely recommend Maaco to anyone looking for quality and reliable service.

Ok so if you’re thinking about going to maaco to have any work done I suggest you rethink that through. I took my car in there to get a paint back in November and paid 3500 for there best package but I think they gave me the cheap package because my hood is already chipping where the hood scoop is at. The doing clean off the car before painting they paint over the dust and I asked to leave my spoiler black and they still painted it they got over spray on my tail light fixtures and painted my license plate light so now I don’t have that light anymore. It took me all weekend to clean off the over spray from my tires and rims and headlights i don’t know who painted it there but they are lazy at least take pride in your work or find another career. I did call them about some of these concerns and guy that answered didn’t even seem to care didn’t offer to correct it and told me pay a detailer to fix the blemishes. There was no walk around upon pick up because they already knew about the issues and when I got home I had extra screws in my cup holder that they couldn’t explain

It was a great experience! They finished my car quickly and it looks gorgeous! I highly recommend Maaco. The price is right and the quality of the paint is fantastic. I might not wet sand it/color sand for a while that’s how smooth the clear coat went on! 5 stars thanks guys! I’ll be bringing my other car next 😎

They go above and beyond. I had a couple panels painted. Not only did they do a great job on the paint, but they polished my entire truck, put the side bed liner and mud flap back on all for a very reasonable price. Plus they are friendly and easy to work with.

Four stars for the excellent paint job on my car. I had taken the same vehicle to Maaco years ago &, considering how hard Tucson's climate is on a car's finish, it held up remarkably well. I am deducting only one star for the following reasons: This is probably the only business I've ever been to where a front office person gave me a dirty look when I walked in & said, "Good morning." Also, when I picked up the vehicle, I noticed that the wind deflector for my moonroof had been tossed into the rear seat instead of being put back on when the job was finished. Apart from these concerns, I can think of no better place to go to get your vehicle looking its very best!

Took my 10+ year-old Corolla to Maaco for a full paint job and couldn’t be happier! The sun had wrecked the clear coat, and it needed a serious refresh. I chose the two-stage paint and clear package—pricing was clearly posted and almost half of what other shops quoted. They finished a day early, matched the paint perfectly, and now it looks like a brand-new car. The process was smooth with clear, no-fluff communication. Great place if you want quality results on a budget!

You pay for work not performed and warranty not honored because the manager cannot justify painting a part of the car not done right. Manager's comment: "I don't care what my employees promise, Im the manager and I cannot justify painting the car again" $1500 job and is supposed to be a higher tier job. I cannot imagine what lower tiers look like. One side look like they only applied clear coat as you can see by the painted rubber between the doors on one side. Lastly he said "the contract said we cannot cover everything", and I get that but whem you deliberately missed the whole hood and did not sand it per the additional cost I paid for you integrity and ethics went out the door.

If you can't paint match factory paint colors from major manufacturers, don't say you can. MAACO Tried sending the car home with terrible fitment and gaps and tape residue after a bumper replacement, we refused the car and asked them to fix it, gap is fixed but paint doesn't match on left side. Cannot recommend this place to anyone.

I decided to go with Maaco after seeing a review (with photos) of a red Toyota that was repainted a few months ago. My 2014 RAV4 had severe peeling paint (see photo) in several areas and needed to be repainted not just for cosmetic reasons but to prevent future damage/rust/etc.. I decided to pay a higher price and go with the "Premium Paint Service". I also paid to have all the jambs painted (see photos) and I changed the color from the original dark blue to "Silver Sky Metallic" and was super impressed with the results. I have avoided any type of car wash and have hand washed in 3 times since picking it up and inspected it thoroughly and it seems to be a very good job. The only place I could see where there may be an issue in the future is in the back upper hatch on the inside it looks like they may not have done the best job sanding it down before repainting it. But even if that ends up being an issue, it will be totally hidden. I read several reviews complaining of "overspray" but I have not seen that on this paint job. Not even in the engine compartment where they painted the "jamb" and underside of the hood. The estimator/salesman Dan (Navy Submariner Veteran) was super patient with me and answered all my numerous questions and alleviated my concerns. When I went to pick it up, Brian (the manager), who is also an Army Veteran, was again very patient with me and went over the car and answered questions. They had my car for a total of 11-days (9-work days), which was expected as they also did a few very minor dent/body work repairs. This is kept indoors and out of the sun/UV and I will not be taking to any car wash that are not non-touch so I am interested to see how it holds up and looks in 1-year, 3-years, 5-years....and will update the review if anything major changes that would cause me to change my opinion but overall... I'm super impressed and I hope my review and photos helps anyone else who is trying to make a decision about getting their car painted at Maaco. ~ Raymond, US Army Veteran

Overall very pleased with paint job and price. I would recommend. My only complaints are the overspray in some areas and the lack of clean up after sanding it down. My entire trunk had had shavings in it. Otherwise great place to bring for a quick paint job at a reasonable price.
