I like Mathew's because the person on the phone is knowledgeable and listens to what my vehicle needs. They give me an estimate right over the phone when I know what the problem or symptom is, without them having to look at it first and charge more money like some shops do. I also appreciate the quick turnaround of my vehicles. Who can wait a week or two to have their vehicle repaired? The prices are a little high, but I know it will get fixed right.

I walked away with four new tires that had known more, I would not have purchased. This stems from expectations I had after talking with Patrick, who answered the phone when I called for tire information. I thought that by buying Goodyear ComfortDrive tires, I would get a $80 rebate and that just by signing up for a Goodyear credit card, I could save an extra hundred-plus dollars. When I arrived to get the tires, I learned that I actually needed to use the credit card to pay for the tires. What's more, I needed to unlock the access to my information at the three credit agencies. Had I understood that this is Goodyear's way to finance my tires, I would have not chosen the ComfortDrives, as the $100+ was a factor in choosing them over Michelin's Defender2. I did not get the credit card. That the rebate for ComfortDrives is $60 was just icing on the cake. My experience at Matthews Tires has left me wondering, among other things, what incentives are in place for Patrick and Matthews Tires to push Goodyear tires. UPDATE: After posting the above assessment, I was contacted by Melissa, who understood my concerns and after discussion, we agreed that the problem boiled down to "miscommunication". She offered to replace the Goodyear tires with the Michelin's that I actually preferred, for the cost difference of the tires. I accepted the offer and this time when leaving Matthews Tire, I am quite satisfied and appreciative of Matthews desire to gain that satisfaction. I will now recommend Matthews to others without hesitation.

I've been taking my cars to Matthews Tire for years and have generally been very pleased with the service. This last time was no exception. I have two issues with the my experience this last time. I knew my breaks needed to be replaced. Matthews wanted to charge me roughly $71 to do a break inspection. I'm good with paying for an inspection if it turns out the brakes don't need to be replaced, however, I think that cost should apply to the cost of replacing the brakes if they do need to be replaced. I passed on the inspection and just had them replace the brakes. The second issue I had was with the coupons. There was one for $20 off brakes and one for $7 off the oil change, which I had done at the same time. I was not allowed to use both coupons. this tells me that next time I have coupons and need multiple services performed, that I will have to schedule separate appointments to take care of the work. I do find these issues frustrating, however, I have always been satisfied with their work. 5/21 Update - Matthews manager called and provided a refund on the second coupon. He also explained the inspection would require work above and beyond the work required to just replace the brakes. I'm satisfied with the answers and appreciate the customer service. They will continue to receive my business. As stated earlier, I've always been satisfied with the service provided.

I've always had good experience with Matthews. Brought my vehicle in for a slow leak in my tire (unscheduled) and they were able to look at it right away. They were able to repair it if I chose to do so, however, knowing I needed new tires I opted to have them replace all the tires right away on the spot. I was able to use their loaner vehicle (and advertise for them at the same time 😁)Thanks for fitting me in without an appointment!

We are long time customers and have had our vehicles serviced, and purchased tires for several vehicles with good results until this time for new tires on our Lexus Rx350. The tire install seemed to go okay but the next day the service tire light came on, the tire pressure was good so assuming maybe that the sensors may need to recalibrate themselves so we drove for a few days with no results. We called the service department and got in to get checked, after checking we were informed that two sensors were bad and it would be over $212 to repair. We questioned that it seemed odd that they would both fail after having new tires installed and employee said that it happens. We believe it is more that a coincidence that two sensors would fail only hours after having new tires installed and are not happy and believe that something happened during the changing of tires that caused the sensors to fail.

We had a 2012 Enclave that we previously were trying to troubleshoot an issue for the EVAP system. Melissa and the team helped talk us through their diagnostics, testing, and validation of the issue. We were kept informed and up to date on what the real issue was and were given the options of how to proceed. They were very fast, accurate, and cost effective. I highly recommend them over some of the large dealerships.
