I had a profoundly distressing experience with Mavis Tires & Brakes, 298 Daniel Webster Hwy, Nashua,NH . I purchased a set of tires from this dealer, and within a month, one of them developed a severe crack while I was driving on a busy highway. This not only put me in a vulnerable and dangerous situation but also highlighted a significant manufacturing defect in the product. When I approached the dealer’s manager for a refund or replacement, he outright denied my request and insisted that I buy a new tire. They showed no concern for the dangerous situation I was put in, nor did they bother to examine the tire properly. It was evident from the picture that the defect was a manufacturing issue, yet the manager, was particularly dismissive and unhelpful. To make matters worse, another franchise, which did not even sell me the tire, acknowledged the defect, and resolved the issue promptly. This stark contrast in service quality is appalling. I am planning to initiate an auto-fraud case against “Mavis Tires & Brakes’, Daniel Webster Hwy, Nashua. NH due to their blatant disregard for customer safety and their refusal to stand by their products. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this dealer at all costs.

I absolutely love Mavis in Nashua! They have been wonderful to deal with especially when I needed my spare tire put back on my truck. They did it no problem! I have had brakes done, tires put on and will be coming back for another break job in a couple of weeks. They are polite, professional and the facility is always clean. Even the garage area! Like I said, I'll be returning soon and plan on using them any time I need to!

While the service was overall good. The "extended road hazard warranty" was disappointing. I had two tires blow on me last night and it was very helpful how quickly I was able to get them replaced, but for two month old tires, it felt a bit steep to have the warranty only cover 30% of the cost of the new tires. The rate is based on tread depth, so when I got home with the new ones I took the attached pictures of one of the new ones and one of the (2 months) old ones to show the relative condition of the tires. To me they look virtually identical. I don't know what kind of formula they're using, but if 2 months of use accounts for 70% of the value of the tire, that is definitely not the impression I was given when sold the warranty. I'd be wary about buying the warranty again because if you're getting 30% at 2 months of use, how much value would you really get after 6 months, a year?

Friendly, confident, and efficient staff. I took my soon-to-be vintage car here to have the rims switched out and re-installed. Of the places I researched, they were the only ones willing to work with customer -supplied rims and tires. Sunday morning I noticed my back right tire was at 20 PSI when it’s usually around 33. I put air in it at a gas station and drove about an hour to my part-time job. A couple hours later I checked again and it was down to 9 PSI, and I could hear air leaking from the valve. I started panicking because I was an hour from home and still had a full shift left. I called a few tire places nearby and either they couldn’t take me or were too far away. I finally called Mavis Tire on Daniel Webster Hwy, which was only a few blocks from my job. Dave Jr. answered the phone and immediately calmed me down and told me to come in. He explained they’d diagnose the tire first and be honest about whether it could be fixed or if it needed to be replaced. That meant a lot to me since money is tight and I was expecting to need a new tire.I carefully drove over on 9 PSI and talked to Steven at the front desk. He was great from the start and reassured me that this stuff happens and they’d take care of it. I left the car, walked back to work, and about 45 minutes later Steven called to tell me it was just a valve issue and didn’t need a new tire. Dave Jr. and Steven didn’t just fix a tire, they genuinely helped me out when I was stressed and stuck. That kind of honesty and empathy is rare, especially in auto shops. Because of how they treated me, I won’t be taking my car anywhere else. I’m already planning to come back in a couple weeks for new tires, and I’ll be recommending this place to anyone who asks. Really grateful for how I was treated.
