I have bought from dealerships before. I am a woman and was treated beyond ignorant. This experience was unlike anything. Sami took me to a car traded the night before, following the test drive he said " oh we have to be careful and park it where nobody sees its available and wants it" from there I was told I could get it for the price quoted but only before inspection. The pressure was unlike any experience at dealerships. Looked at me " whats there to think about"??? Seriously? "Its a needle in a haystack" a day later it was listed on the website for even less. Then today jacked up 3 grand. This experience was sick and Sami had zero professionalism. I forgot to add when I arrived my car door was barely open and he was out there "Oh a rental vehicle" I wasnt there to see him and took at least 15 minutes to get a word in, and who I was there to see. Unfortunatley I couldnt work with who I was there to see and had to go through Sami. I walked out of that high pressure, dishonesty, and seriously wonder how someone does that with a clear conscience. He is a snake and please treat everyone equal. Clearly the dealership was making their quota I was reminded of cars sold more than once.

I got a Subaru Forester at a competitive price. TJ Clark, the sales rep, was helpful by returning my calls promptly, taking the car to get checked out by a third party, and fully answering all of my questions. On the day of the purchase the transaction was smooth. They also gave me a shuttle to return a rental car i had from Enterprise. My only dislike was the Stargard that comes with all vehicles. I declined that service. Overall the process was easy and fair. I'd buy from there again if i needed to.

On November 16th, my husband hit a deer and we took our truck to McCarthy Collision Center with the intention of trading it in after repairs. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. I finally picked up the truck on December 17th. Before arriving, I called at 9:00 a.m. and was told the truck was in polishing and to call back around noon. When I called again at 12:00, I was informed they had accidentally put a dent in the truck and were waiting on the dent repair technician. After that, it needed to go back to polishing, followed by a โcourtesyโ detail. When I arrived, I immediately noticed a piece of the bumper hanging off and a scratch on the taillight, on the opposite side of the original damage. I went back inside to report this. Instead of taking responsibility, Jason was dismissive and insisted the scratch was already there, then claimed it must have been from the accident, despite the damage being on the opposite side. To add to the frustration, the promised โcourtesyโ wash was never done. There was still visible deer hair on the truck when I picked it up. I want to give credit to Ross, who stepped in and fixed the issues even though it wasnโt his job. He was professional and helpful. My insurance company paid $8,236 for subpar work and poor customer service. I will not recommend this collision center and will be taking my business elsewhere. I hope management takes this feedback seriously so no one else has to go through a similar experience, especially with a vehicle of this value.

Excellent experience! Mike and Ryan took care of me and got me in a new Tahoe with ease. I definitely recommend this dealership. They weren't pushy, very knowledgeable about the history of the vehicle, and signing was a breeze. Thanks again guys!

I had an amazing experience at McCarthy Car Dealership thanks to my salesperson, Issy! From the moment I walked in, she was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on helping me find the right vehicle for my needs. She made the entire process smooth, stress-free, and even enjoyable. I never felt pressured, and she took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all of my questions. If youโre looking for a new ride and want top-notch customer service, ask for Issy , you wonโt be disappointed!

Pretty dissatisfied with our sales experience. We bought our last 2 vehicles at McCarthy Olathe, but Lee's Summit is closer so we gave them a shot. We test drove with Blake, but they did not have the exact vehicle we wanted. But he said he located one on auction that met our needs, and that he was going to order it. We told him that when it arrived, if it checked all the boxes then we would be interested in purchasing (we weren't going to commit to buying sight unseen). So he said he ordered it (supposedly), and told us 2 days later that it was in and that we could come check it out. But then he double-checked and said it wasn't in. (?) Ok. I texted him again 5 days later to see if it was in, and he said he'd check. That was the last I heard from him. I texted him back multiple times, but he would not respond. Not a great way to sell cars. We ended up buying from another dealership. I contacted the sales manager through the McCarthy website to let him know about our bad experience there, and we never heard from him either. We use McCarthy service department sometimes for our GMC vehicles, but we'll never use their sales department again.

Happy we stopped by and was greeted by Jeremy Jackson in sales. Walked us through the process. We purchased. He answered all questions. Ray finished up the process perfectly. Both men are an asset to the dealership! Stop by.

Car buying can be so stressful !! But the crew at McCarthy Chevrolet made my experience as pain free as possible!!! Mike Walden was my sales representative and he went above and beyond to get me in the car I really wanted , at a great price!! He also went as far as coming in on his day off to finalize the sale and make sure I left in said car! If you're looking to buy a new car, this is the dealership you want to go to!!

Absolute WORST STEALERSHIP on the planet! One of the managers, "Tracksuit Trey" as we call him, has the little man complex and likes to scream on the sales floor at women and make them cry. Plan on a complete 3 ring circus as we have been waiting 4 months on a title that wasn't done properly and belonged to a dead woman that obviously cannot sign it and make it right. The finance woman literally screamed at my wife over the phone while trying to get it resolved, and then hung up on my wife, never to be reached again. It's a good thing we caught this all on video recording. Attorneys contacted, and law suits are being filed currently. Take your hard earned money ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolute garbage!

Due to past experiences, my husband and I don't enjoy car shopping. We have always found it to be exhausting and stressful . Our son had had a great experience with McCarthy Chevrolet and encouraged us to give them a try. We are SO glad we did! Everything about our visit --culminating in a great purchase--was relaxed and stress free. We give all credit to our salesperson, Aaron Shortino. He was amazing ! We HIGHLY recommend him. He worked hard for us and was so fun and relaxed that we found ourselves, for the first time ever, enjoying the car shopping process. If you are looking for a car, go see Aaron Shortino, you will be happy you did!!!

We were fortunate to have Aaron Shortino be our contact with this dealership. We were interested in a truck that we had seen online -----so we went to see it "in person". Aaron came out to greet us --then showed us the vehicle and answered all of our questions. He was not pushy or aggressive --- smart on his part, as we do not respond to that kind of assistance. Everyone we came into contact with at the dealership was pleasant and respectful.

I found a car on Facebook Marketplace posted by McCarthy. I made an inquiry and engaged in online conversation and decided to pursue the car. The salesperson then went aloof on me, stopped answering questions I had asked multiple times, so that made me skeptical. A few days later I reached back out to see if the car was still available. The salesperson would read my messages (in Messenger you can see when they are read) but not respond. Finally got a response and, giving benefit of the doubt, decided to proceed with pursuing the car. Long story short, what ended up happening is this salesperson was caught in a lie (I asked a direct question in our Messenger chat and he gave me an answer that turned out to be a complete lie). Further, in looking at Marketplace again, I found the EXACT SAME car (same VIN!) posted by McCarthy for $2,000 less than what the salesperson had posted it. I called them out on this. I ended up speaking with the sales manager. I told him of the poor experience and that I was not happy with being treated in this manner and that if they wanted to sell me the car, they would have to honor the first price. Manager came back to me and said that listing was "before the vehicle had been received" by the dealership and he wasn't going to sell it to me for the lower price. I should have just gone about my way, but we did end up negotiating a price I felt was fair. I was connected with the Finance Manager. That first conversation went south and I ended up telling him to just forget it and I ended the call. He then texted me explaining he understood my frustration and did apologize for "our sales person's lack of maturity and dishonesty." I went ahead and proceeded with the purchase. Then came the fun of the sales pitch during the financing conversation, which just about pushed me over the edge. When I told him I was declining the extended warranty and GAP insurance and all the other things, he went into pushy mode as to why I would not opt for those. He asked me "why" and I told him simply, "I don't want them" and I don't owe any explanation. Here is something I want to warn customers about - when you go into that conversation with financing, what they are going to do is tell you all about these options and then they will give you a number of what your monthly PAYMENT will be. They leave out what the cost of each of those options are. ASK THEM TO BREAK DOWN EACH OPTION AND GIVE YOU A TOTAL COST OF EACH OPTION!! Tell them to a la carte it so you can decide which options or if you don't want any options. Don't just agree to it when they give you a monthly payment amount!!!! Don't let them guilt you into anything you don't want!! In the end, I bought the car, things improved, but I feel it necessary to share my experience so someone else doesn't have to go through all that heartache. And one other thing....I read many of the Google reviews for this dealership and many of them have a response from the dealer, specifically "BK", which is Brian Knight the General Manager. In his responses, he generally asks people to reach out and call him personally. While I was in the midst of the earlier frustrations, I did reach out to BK and I left him a voice mail message. Guess what? He NEVER bothered to return my call! So I'm sure he will see my review and he'll post his response, and I'm also certain that these folks I dealt with will be unhappy with me for posting a 3-star review, even after things were made better. But this review is about my ENTIRE experience, not just the good stuff at the end that all seemed to work out. So I will end by saying - proceed with caution if you decide to purchase a car from this dealership. While they will tell you all the things you want to hear.....ask questions! Do your due diligence! Stand your ground when they put the pressure on you! Call them out if you don't feel like you're getting the facts. I'm happy with my car, but this was a headache and a half just going through the purchasing and finance experience and I wouldn't wish this on anyone else.

My boyfriend who used to work at MCLS brought me hereโฆ.I had an amazing sales experience with Charlie Trumps. This was my first time buying and financing a car from a dealership, and Charlie made it such a smooth process. I filled out paperwork right away, he came back with an approval, I test drove it, loved it, did a little more paperwork, shook some hands, got a big hug and congratulations from Charlie, and drove off the lot with a smile on my face. I really appreciate how patient Charlie was with my daughter. He was super kind and understanding, and Mike was too. They even played a quick game of catch with my 3-year-old to keep her busy, and Charlie bought her gummy worms from the vending machine while I finished up paperwork. That meant a lot to me. Overall it was an A1 experience. Iโm really glad I decided to stay with Chevrolet. My first car was a 2006 Chevy Impala and now I have a 2025 Chevy Trax 1RS. She was brand new when I drove her off the lot and I couldnโt be happier. Iโll definitely come back to buy again in the future!!!!

This was our first time buying a truck in Missouri and the Lees Summit Chevy dealership delivered! Taylor and Ray were absolutely amazing to work with and did the best for us on our new truck and trade in. They thoroughly explained everything and answered all my questions. They detailed the truck and installed a front license plate bracket for us. We will be back to this dealership to see Taylor when weโre ready for our next vehicle! Thank you to all for helping us get the truck of our dreams!

Yโall. If I can help it, I will NEVER buy a car from anyone except Troy Reichle at McCarthy Chevrolet in Leeโs Summit. Ever again. Loyalty unlocked. ๐ Buying a truck was the LAST thing I wanted to deal with. I was already drowning in stressful, grown-up, probate-related nonsense and this felt like one more thing on the pile. But Troy, plus his amazing team Jeremy and Ethan, made it ridiculously easy, fast, and actually enjoyable. Yes, I said enjoyable. We showed up with my dog, who the whole dealership immediately fell in love with. My kid had a cold and basically wiped out every Kleenex box in the building. We kept them there WAY past closing because paperwork likes to test everyoneโs patience. And not once did anyone rush us, side-eye us, or make us feel like a problem. No games. No pressure. No shady vibes. Just genuinely good people who actually care. So if you need a vehicle and want a stress-free experience with zero nonsense, go see Troy. Tell him I sent you. ๐
