I visited the McLarty Honda Service department in Little Rock on 11/28/20 for an oil change. The gentleman who approached the vehicle was extremely short with me when I attempted to ask a question about the services I receiving and to address an issue I have been having with my vehicle. In fact, he cut me off before I could finish my question. When I brought it to his attention that I have not finished asking my question he continued to be disinterested in my concern. I asked another associate if I could speak with the service manager only to find out the person who took my vehicle in was the service manager!!! He is very unprofessional and does not appear to place customer service as a priority which is very disappointing.

I have always hated going to a dealership. Not anymore! These people are so on top of their game! They are knowledgeable, courteous and so friendly! And another amazing thing they are is honest! Absolutely love McLarty Honda! Susann was our Service Advisor and she was the BEST! We came in for an oil change, tire rotation, and wheel alignment. While waiting, [the awesome!] Mr. Jim was able to drop us off to get something to eat and our car was ready by the time we came back! The technician, Chris A., did an amazing job, our car is running smoothly! The entire staff was communicative, professional, helpful, and friendly! Highly recommend!!

Everyone there assumes that I do not have an extended warranty and they want to charge me for everything. I have an extended warranty to 120k miles. Please avoid Will Shrines from sales. We found him to be rude and very fake. Every time we called and asked to speak to someone else we kept getting will. Why pay for an extended warranty if it doesn't cover anything. I have paid for tires several times and I have an specific warranty that covers tires but no one's ever aware of this. Landon works in the warranty department and he's always friendly and helpful. I love my 2020 Honda insight but I think I'll go elsewhere next time.

Updated Jan 2025: I've had my oil changed a couple times more and they are much better now. Maybe that first time was a fluke. I want to shout out Samuel, Juan and Memphis. Samuel has helped me a couple of times and he's so pleasant.One of the last times I went they had popcorn and everything. Oil change took about an hour which was normal. Also, I had to get a part replaced and thought it would take a long time. Took about exactly what he said. Very pleased with the service of late. _________ Oil change took over two hours. Car was ready and parked and they didn’t even bother to come get me. Didn’t give me my paperwork (I had to go back in to get it). Lack of communication with customers. Seats in the waiting area are visibly dirty and so is the carpet. I will say the bathroom was clean and they have coffee and water and when they take your car they are super nice and sweet but for me it was downhill after that.

Diagnosis starts at $240 and can go as high as they want to charge. Russell Honda in NLR charges $99 and will waive the fee if you get the work done there. They keep saying they’ll call back but never do. Much cheaper, faster, and dependable service is available pretty much anywhere other than here

Excellent and professional service department. Your vehicle is treated well. The waiting area is pleasant with good coffee. I highly recommend buying a car and having it serviced here as the oil change price is less than Valvoline Express.
