I’m incredibly pleased with my experience at McMahons Best on St. Joe Rd. I originally booked the wrong location and showed up without an appointment. They were quick to fix my mistake and get me in for my oil change. The total time spent was short and they had my car back to me in no time. Their customer service was excellent. I also absolutely loved the inspection that came directly to my phone and was highly detailed. I will definitely be returning for future needs!

My car was with them for a month Spent $1500 on the parts and repairs and I had my car back less then a week and it broke down had them tow it to them just for them to say the cars basically finished didn’t offer me any money back or any solution to the issue all they gave me was $10 off my next purchase with them they are very money hungry not professional at all when I told them I was gonna sue them they guy at the counter got smart and said “with what money” if u value your car I wouldn’t not take it to their company or shop at all. Definitely will be taking them to court. Nicholas R and Mark C were the ones that worked on my car.

The staff is always super friendly and informative. Shout out to Nicole! Even when Nim shady (Subaru) tapped out, I knew they did everything they could for her. I recommend taking your vehicle to them. Not only are they straightforward, but they're also willing to work with you to make your visit as painless as possible, as well as working with your budget for repairs. They also have a credit card so you can break it up into payments over time.

During a routine oil change they performed an assessment on my car and suggested that some additional maintenance was needed to keep my car running well. My car is 11 years old and I felt it necessary to have the issues fixed. Nicole did an awesome job in explaining what needed done and why. They were able to do the repairs in one day as promised, and at a reasonable rate. I would highly recommend the St Joe Rd location for auto repairs.

The air conditioning on my Subaru Forester went out, and I first took it to the local Subaru dealer, who wanted to replace the condenser for $3000. I quickly called McMahon's on St. Joe Road in Fort Wayne, and had them take a look. They replenished the A/C refrigerant for well under $200 and suggested if it gave any trouble over a week's time, bring it back in and they would check the condenser. If it needed to be replaced it would cost about $650. Very honest people who do the job correctly and are friendly to deal with. I highly recommend them.

The place where we normally take our vehicles was not able to diagnose our problem and thought maybe it was related to transmission. So I called around to see where we could take the vehicle and when I made an appointment with McMahon they said they would have time to look at it the following Monday so I said fine. At the time I made the appointment I made sure to ask them if there was a charge to the diagnose transmission and whomever I talk to said no there was no charge. So we dropped it off on a Sunday evening and Monday I received a text that the car had been checked in. The day goes by and I hear nothing so by late afternoon I'm calling to find out what the status is. Whoever answered the phone said they had not been able to get to it and couldn't tell me if they would be able to by the end of the day but probably not. I was furious. Why bother making an appointment when they don't honor it. So the next morning I called and they said they were bringing it in to have it looked at. I would have expected an hour at the most to see if it was a transmission issue. Hours go by and I hear nothing so I call again. They told me they were just finishing it up and would be texting me with the diagnostics. Well lo and behold not only did they check for my specific problems but they did a complete diagnostic on the whole car and never told me they would be doing that! And then I find out it's $150 charge!!! You want to talk about unethical. Telling me there would be no charge and then taking two days to get it done and then doing more work than what they told me they would be doing. When I call to me the appointment they should have told me what the minimum was and what they do when they look at a car that has problems. They didn't tell me any of that. I'm still angry about it. I called and talked to the manager and he told me the best he could do was take $50 off of it and give me a coupon so the total charge was $85. I paid it but boy I will never take my car back there and I will tell everybody I can never to go there. They are unethical and they lied to you. They lie about making appointments and they lie about keeping their appointments and they lie about charges.

I visited the McMahon Auto Center on St. Joe yesterday to have all four of my tires replaced, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. They took the time to explain my options clearly and made sure I understood the process every step of the way. Everyone I interacted with was not only pleasant but also genuinely helpful and knowledgeable, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It's great to see a team that truly values customer service. Highly recommend!

Do not take your automobile to these people under any circumstance. They were paid 1500.00 and I couldn't even stop at a stop sign without putting the car in neutral and pushing the gas pedal in order to keep the car running. Less than a week after paying them 1500.00, I have no car. One employee told me that the spark plug was sucked into the cylinder. The manager told me that I couldn't sue him because I didn't have any money. Do not take your vehicle to these people. Accidents happen. But instead of being honest and fair, they lied, they covered up what happened and then had the audacity to tell me that they won't be refunding me any money and that I can't sue them because I don't have any money. It's called integrity, people. Maybe they will fix your car right and maybe they won't but if they don't, you will see their true colors. Is it worth the risk? There are too many mechanics out there to take such a risk on people who clearly don't have any integrity. Do NOT take your car here for repairs!

I started going to Best One after calling and scheduling with Nichole. She is so kind and friendly. It is so nice to call and talk to someone who understands what is going on with your vehicle. Yesterday, I was getting my oil changed and tires rotated. They noticed that I needed a new air filter. It was there within 15 mins so they could get that done too! I am impressed with the service here!
