Meineke does not stand behind their work! DO NOT use Meineke. They tried 3 different trips to recharge my AC. This was a lot of hassle to take the car there, 12 miles from my house, and have someone follow me, to leave my car overnight. Each time I picked it up, the AC was not blowing cold air, and I walked back in, and told them. Each time was a different excuse: 1) the machine is not working right. 2) We have new technicians. 3) You need a new compressor, we have worked up an estimate for you. It is over $1000. This one was the real corker. They did not know how to fix the AC in previous 3 visits there.... and so they think i will pay over $1K for THEM to do more work? I took the same car to Ben s Quality Auto in Puyallup. The diagnosed the AC problem - a wire had been half chewed up by a squirrel. They fixed it in half a day and it works fine. It was about $250. That included the diagnosis, the wire fix, and recharge with new refrigerant. Meineke refuses to give me a refund for the work I paid for, but they were unable to do. They charged me $233 for the AC recharge..... paid up front. But they refuse to refund it, even though i had to get the AC fixed at a different shop. I wrote the Store manager. Also the Regional manager, Brandon Cruz. And also the Corporate office in Charlotte, NC. NEVER HEARD ONE WORD OF RESPONSE. These people should not be in the car business. Got a Full Synthetic oil change, but the sticker affixed in the window afterwards indicated I should come back in 3,000 miles. Such inattention to detail (full synthetic is good for 7,500 miles) makes me wonder what else they missed. Also had to decline a bunch of other “suggested” stuff before I could finish paying. Good price on the oil change, though. That’s why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1.

I've been going here for two years and I didn't understand what was up with all the negative reviews, now I know that I just got lucky at first. They have a revolving door of employees, you never know what you're going to get. I tried to bring my car in for some routine maintenance and to check on the lights and breaks. They didn't get back to me until a day later and sent me an invoice asking for $1800 to replace the rotors. Completely insane, especially considering I've had my rotors replaced here before for far less AND they didn't even include some of the repairs I had requested in the first place. Also, they didn't include any pictures of the "problem" area or an explanation for why they thought that was necessary. I told them to forget about it and I promptly picked up my car. I dearly hope they didn't break anything. But either way I won't be coming back.

I was very disappointed with the service. My car was sitting at the shop for 3 weeks. Justin quoted me a price of 1,300 dollars to "Test" my transfer case. The communication is terrible throughout this process I didn't get any calls.I had to call and all they gave me is excuses. They finally stopped answering the phone and that's when I when down to the shop to find my car sitting in the parking lot collecting dust. I told them to give me my keys. I WILL NEVER GO TO THAT SHOP AGAIN. If any ones car is their I suggest you go get it. I guarantee it's in the parking lot piled up with all of the rest of the cars they haven't got to yet.

Don't expect to take your car in for service without having a bunch of other diagnostics done (at your expense) prior. Be careful as they overcharge for parts. The parts they want you to pay $1500+ for can be purchased at AutoZone for less than $400. The mechanics are all personable; however the girl at the front desk is not AT ALL.

I called as my windshield wipers randomly stopped working. Now as a preface, I came in here a few years ago and had a poor experience. Based on recent reviews I decided to try again. The gentlemen handling the front counter said they could get me in about an hour. When I arrived, he asked if the lady explained the process over the phone. Taking that it was him I spoke to, I reminded that I wasn't told anything over the phone other than my appt. He then informs that the initial diagnostic is free but if they can't figure it out and need to check wiring or more, its $293 for that diagnostic. To pay $300 just to tell me how much it'll cost to fix is ridiculous. Had I known this when calling, I wouldn't have wasted my time at this business. They're back on my no business list as I was able to get assistance for FREE somewhere else.

Meineke #2378 Bridgeport Way W Tacoma oil change 1/14/2026.The Meineke website offers a synthetic blend oil change option but the service advisor at this business told me that they only use full synthetic oil now without an option. Although to lessen the sticker shock difference in price I was told that the Valvoline oil company offered a $20 rebate. I went ahead with the service. I was directed to a rebate sign at their service desk promo code. Unfortunately the rebate code was for oil service last year! I tried to claim the rebate online which failed then called customer service and had to start over. Furthermore I was promised a $20 existing rebate by the service advisor. The new rebate is now $10 for 2026 for full synthetic oil service. While I was leaving another oil change reservation customer was helped and was told the same thing about only full synthetic and a $20 rebate was available for them. I’m not impressed with my latest visit from this dealership!!

I think I've found a repair shop I can trust! They are polite, honest and offer a payment plan and they are authorized carfax mechanics. I have a Chrysler town and country that I have an extended warranty they recognize which is rare. I'm not afraid of being overcharged . And lastly, when I walked in the door, every seat was taken. There were cars on all lifts as well as the cars waiting. No one goes to a mechanic they don't trust. That's when I felt I was in the right place. I highly recommend them!

Customer Service was amazing. My fiancés 22’ F250 battery died across the street from the shop at the Arco Gas Station. Carl, a service agent drove their personal vehicle across the intersection to jump our truck. We appreciate the time taken and appreciate the manager from that shift for allowing them to give us a jump. Y’all deserve 5 stars just because we weren’t even an actual customer and we felt prioritized for that second (:
