I scheduled an appointment a week in advanced for required work on my fleet car, I talked to the manager multiple times the day before regarding the work that needed done as well as the fleet company. I dropped my car of the night before scheduled appointment at 9 am on Saturday. At 3:00pm hunter called me to again request information regarding the work needing done and the fleet company. I went to pick the car up right before closing as I had not heard anything from hunter and the work had not even been started. When I ask hunter why it was not communicated to me during the multiple times I talked to him over the past 2 days that the work would not be completed his response was " that is my bad" I 10/10 do not recommend this company or to do business with hunter. Hunter needs to take a lesson in managing a business and customer service!!!

These guys are absolutely overcharging for their services. Do not recommend. They wanted 700 dollars to change a set of break pads on the back. Yup you heard it right…. It cost me 50 bucks to get the pads and do it myself. Please stay away from these scammers.

Review for Meineke Car Care - Highway 58, Chattanooga, TN I have had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with this Meineke location. Over the course of several visits for repairs, I’ve noticed parts mysteriously going missing from my vehicle, including my engine cover (with Honda branding) and my rear windshield wiper blade. These are not minor oversights—they show a lack of attention and care. One of the most concerning issues was a broken mirror, which I noticed before I even left the lot. It took three weeks just to process a claim and get a replacement. That kind of delay is unacceptable for something that was clearly damaged under their care. I'm currently dealing with an oil leak that has been "fixed" three times already, and now I’m waiting to hear back—again—about the valve cover gaskets and service availability. It’s been four weeks with no concrete answer. Meanwhile, the ongoing leak has caused even more damage: I’ve had to replace my alternator twice and now the belt is beginning to squeak. This is the result of poor, incomplete service. I wanted to have the warranty work done at a different Meineke location due to lack of trust in this one, but was told it must be done at the same location to be covered. That policy only adds to the frustration. With the high employee turnover, there is zero consistency in communication or workmanship, and I’ve lost all confidence that they are capable—or willing—to properly resolve the issue. I’ve been calling twice a week and stopping by in person, only to be met with delays and excuses. It really feels like they are just stalling until the warranty runs out. At this point, if I don't get a resolution soon from either the store or Meineke corporate, I will be forced to report them to the Better Business Bureau and consider filing a police report for small claims court. There is no excuse for this kind of service. I strongly do not recommend this location.

Was vastly overcharged for an oil change, radiator drain and refill, transmission drain/filter replace/refill. They replaced the starter, not sure what the replacement part cost. They were supposed to replace coolant elbows and said they did, but did not. Transmission was three quarts low this morning and was whining. I took it to Goodyear, no leaks were found, it simply was not refilled correctly. The radiator was also low on coolant, yet no leaks there either. Was charged almost $1800 for this fiasco which only took them about 3 hours to do. I have been happy with past work I’ve had done at this location but the employees I dealt with this time lack knowledge and integrity. Rip-off artists and poor excuses for mechanics. I will be contacting corporate.

Told me a blew a head gasket when that indeed was not the case they will try to drain your pockets. Also took parts off my car and forgot to put them back on before releasing my car to me. I would not let them work on your car very rude and unprofessional.

If I could leave a zero star review, then I truly would. Meineke has had my car since August 21, 2025 and has not done any work on my car as of today. Every time I call, they give me the runaround about how they’re waiting for my engine to come in when they have indicated to the finance repair company that the work in service has already been finished as of August 30. I have called multiple times trying to figure out why I was having to pay for a service that has not started and the shop manager insured me that he was going to call Brighton early that next day to tell them that they have not started on the work and he did nothing. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had and I’ve gone to these people before I would not recommend this particular shop to anyone beware and they will overcharge you for everything. I’m paying $8000 just so I can get a new engine in my car on top of. They’re giving me a used engine with 154,000 miles on it but I’m paying $4500. That makes no sense. Beware of this place.

I was charged 5.6hrs of labor @$175/hr for front and rear rotors and pads plus a serpentine belt for a total of $2007. Just went in with the paid invoice to point out the discrepancy as my car was only worked on for 2.5hrs max and the service advisor Brian is getting back to me after he is to discuss with the manager Levi. Hope they correct this error. I will post an update with that information.

They installed my transmission and destroyed my truck. They don't deserve a single star. I would never take a vehicle here. They installed a transmission in my truck and left the transmission mount bolts out, And 2 bolts out of the bell housing, Put grease all over the headliner and driver sunvisor, Damage the front passenger CV joint, Lost several bolts holding sensors, Wires, and transmission lines. They left numerous things unplugged. Melted a clip on my wire harness, And A 02 sensor by allowing the wires to hang on to my exhaust. My truck was also so bad out of line that if you let go of the steering wheel it would jerk you into the right lane. After 6 months of them, having my truck and me complaining they have fixed some of the issues but now the transmission is bad again. They have sent it home 5 times where I've taken it home. Looked under it found the issues are still there and brought it back the same or the next day. Now they want to install a used transmission out of a junkyard, even though I have not had my truck for 6 months. This establishment is a joke. They have no idea what they're doing. I would not recommend using one of these businesses anywhere in the country. All of the employees that I have talked to at this company will play stupid And try to wait you out Hoping you will get aggravated and take your car elsewhere. during this time i was forced to buy a different vehicle just so I could drive back-and-forth to work. It's been 6 months since I've had my truck, and they still cannot give me a straight answer about what they are doing. Mostly It just sits in the parking lot. Do not take your vehicle to one of these companies, No matter what, they will break your vehicle.

If I could give negative stars I would. Do not! Do not take your car here. They charged my father $3300 and did nothing. Forced him to pay that to get his vehicle so he could take it some place else. They had it two weeks and at first told him it would be $954 for a tune up. Every time he called the price was more yet he never authorized any other work. Once we took it to another mechanic it was discovered that someone had tried to cut off the exhaust manifold with a blow torch. One bolt broken and melted debris was on the manifold and exhaust. He was charged for their mistakes. Because of their screw ups he’s now out another 4 grand. At best we should be refunded every penny. I will be emailing corporate as well as looking into any other actions we can take.

This is the worst place ever, from the mechanics all the way to corporate, I took my car 4 times and almost $6,000 later my truck is still Not fixed, They had my truck for 2 weeks and could not diagnose it because they said they didn’t have a scanner, I’ve asked to speak to a manger multiple times and I was told they didn’t have one and they re just winging it …. I was absolutely shocked . They charged me labor again because the first pet from the manufacturer was bad , which is not my fault , however weeks later when I spoke to a GM he told me that they shouldn’t have charged me another labor fee, but offered to take it off the new balance of over $3,000 . I will be contacting the BBB because I see that I’m not the only person that got screwed from these reviews. Do not take your car there !!!!!! Very unprofessional and unprofessional Ben worse customer service!!!!!!

Charged $720 for an oil change. Charged $55 per quart for an oil change. They refused to correct the issue. Levi the regional manager failed to call me to correct this after I was told he would several times. This is fraud and theft. The regional manager never contacted me or refunded the money. Apparently he is content to steal from customers. He was just bumping up numbers for his bonus. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. ABSOLUTE THIEVES. Manager Levi never corrects the issues or calls customers to correct the billing. They didn't make a mistake. They intentionally over charge in order to boost bonuses.

I started taking my vehicle to Meineke in December 2024 under warranty for two bad window motors and a clicking noise from the dashboard. They replaced an actuator, but things have only gotten worse since. The original issues still aren’t fixed, and now the A/C won’t switch from the floor vents—I have no defrost and no air from the center vents, which makes the truck unsafe to drive. I’ve dropped my truck off over 15 times, including leaving it for a full week, and now they’re saying it’s something new. On top of that, I just found out they lost the hardware that holds the center console down. Seriously? The staff constantly changes, and everyone claims they’ve “only been there two weeks.” No one knows what’s going on. It’s been 5 months, and they still can’t fix my vehicle. This place is full of incompetence, excuses, and flat-out lies. I’m reporting this to corporate and the Better Business Bureau. I will never return and strongly warn others to stay away from this location.

2nd time here. Made an appointment for a brake inspection. No verbal feedback said to look at my text. What bothered me was the brake and coolant fluids were low! Did they offer to top them off? Nope. I had a better experience the first time here for an oil change- was in and out.

Would not recommend. I got a verbal quote over the phone for exhaust for around $6000. Asked for it to be put in writing never provided. Did not even let me authorize the work, told me it was ready for pick-up and it should take it to a muffler shop for a faction of the price. Maybe they should take the service off the website as a service provided. I think they just didn't want to do the work.
