These guys are the best! I had done some work on my car after it broke down on me. I had to replace my fuel pump but after doing so we couldn't figure out why it wouldn't crank. I took it to Bobby and come to find out it was as simple as a sensor not being plugged back up. They double checked it by letting it sit overnight to make sure it would crank again on the next day. It did and Mr Bobby called me and told me to come get my car and he charged me absolutely nothing. I'll always use Memphis Auto Repair because they are honest and very reasonable on price they could have charged me at least a little something but they didn't. Thanks again!

Was needing a oil change. Firestone wouldn’t even look at my car because they heard a “knocking” in my engine. They recommended I bring it to a engine shop ASAP. Stopped by Memphis auto to see if they could help. Gentlemen there told me he doesn’t normally work on subarus (they’re a different animal) but was happy to take a look. I was really low on oil…it’s an older car with high mileage. Not only did he top off my oil, he talked me through the issue and what to look out for for future reference. Wonderful and honest. Customer service at its best. Can not recommend more.

High quality work at a fair price. I was recommended to use Memphis Auto Repair for AC work by Harris Quon Auto. They replaced just about everything in my 1997 Toyota 4Runner's AC system: compressor, condenser, receiver/drier, expansion valve, belt. They let me source my own parts so I could get all OEM and now I'm good for the next couple decades. Robby was helpful, honest about costs and scheduling. Quick turn around the day I brought it in. I won't hesitate to use them again.

The guys at the shop were super helpful and nice! I had been to several shops looking for help with my air with failed results. I was hot and frustrated. The owner of the shop told me that I come right on and he would have it looked at. When I arrived they did just that. They were very knowledgeable and professional. He gave me several options for the possible problem and was very straightforward. Luckily my fix was super simple and I didn’t have to have the system replaced or repaired, but if I did I know I would’ve been in good hands. I will definitely recommend this shop to anyone and I will be back in the future when I need my car serviced.

Was visiting from out of town and the a/c went out on my truck with temps around 100 degrees outside. Originally took my truck to a national chain shop in town and they said they couldn't fix it because they couldn't get the parts. My next call was to Memphis Auto based on the reviews and they did not disappoint. Said he could have the parts the next morning and to have it there when they opened. He got my a/c fixed quickly and at a reasonable price for the amount of work involved. Would highly recommend to anyone.

He has performed excellent work on my 1979 CJ-7 Jeep. and I appreciate him and his fellow mechanics very much. Take whatever vehicle you have to him, he will take good care of you.

I have a 1932 Chrysler CI that needed help. Robbie and his mechanics did a great job of fixing everything on my list of 12 items including rewinding the original starter motor. This car has never run better in the 52 years I have owned it. Classic antique cars don't scare these guys! And a very fair price! Great job!

This guy is unbelievable, a bit of a unicorn. He always does his best to keep the cost down, and actually feels bad when it feels expensive to him. I've wrenched on my own vehicles my entire life because of incompetent mechanics, so I've been very relieved to find this shop. Their work on 2 separate vehicles has been flawless, and the price has been EXTREMELY reasonable.

Can I put a ZERO??? Horrible service and they wanted us to come back?! No thank you!!! I went in for one thing. The first time they said all it needed was a cleaning but next time I would need to replace it. Well within a day, my vehicle was back in their shop. I told them to just replace it. Did they though?? No. No they did not. Instead of replacing the part that clearly needed it, instead they replaced a battery that I just bought 2 years ago. And then charged me for it. They didn't ask if that's what I wanted. They did not even tell me that that is what they were doing. I just get a call saying my car is ready and I come in to hear this!!! Then when it messed up again, they told me bring it in for a 3rd time. No thank you!!! For what? So you can replace something else that doesn't need it and still not fix the problem??? No to the no, no. I'm good on that. Then, they told me they didn't replace the needed part bc they didn't want to test out the vehicle and then get stuck and have to tow it back to their shop. Like, this is your job. So you don't want to do the job and yet still get paid?? Ha! Not by me!! Waisted over $350 on repairs that didn't fix the problem. My car is at another shop getting fixed because they wouldn't do it. Worst service ever!!!

I took my Tahoe down to those guys and the owner was really straight forward with me about the process. Another idiot mechanic put a lot of stop leak in my car and stopped up my heater core. They told me up front that not it may work. But at least they were honest. So now I may to get them to replace my heater core which is a 1 or 2 day job. Also price-wise the owner was real fair with me, in my opinion.
