Woah, great experience. I got quoted $130+ for a serpentine belt replacement down the road at Firestone and I said, "let me get back to you on that one." Called Michaels and he said he could do it for $97.50. Done. Made an appointment and he had it done in a few hours (I dropped my car off). Great experience and he accepts everything but American Express, some close by mechanics only accept cash. Will be back.

Mike and his staff did a great job on both my vehicles on two separate occasions. I even referred a family member and they were as equally pleased! Mike and his staff were honest, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of. My air went out in my van and they knew I had little ones that I cart around, so they got me in as soon as a few days after I called and had it fixed within a few hours!

Mike is one of those small town mechanics you hear about on TV sitcoms. He does the job right, goes above and beyond. He has worked on my mom's vehicles and mine when I don't have time to either fix it myself or it's too much work for me to complete in a reasonable amount of time. Excellent Service! Michael's Automotive mechanics are honest and trustworthy! They have fixed my vehicles for over twenty years. Never had a problem or issue with any of my auto repairs. They will communicate with you up front as to what needs to be fixed right away or if something may need repaired soon. Highly recommend this place for auto repairs and oil changes!

I've been going to the same dealership on the east side of Indy for several years. Sometimes I get great service and Sometimes I don't. My last trip they pretty much told me my car had A LOT of miles on it and I should probably be thinking about trading it in. In this economy...no way. I started going to another dealership on the north side of Indy. I got great service and never once did they say anything about my high mileage vehicle. I don't want to make that drive up north just to have my car serviced. I went to my trusty friend, Google, and found Michael's Automotive. He schedules appointments and doesn't overbook for more work than he can handle. He explains things so anyone can understand. His pricing is fair and doesn't have all the mark up the "stealer"ships do. This is a family owned business that has been around for a while so it's not a here today gone tomorrow shop. I'm confident if you start taking your vehicle here you may never go anywhere else; it might take a while to get on the schedule but don't let that deter you. Top notch mechanic and excellent customer service.

Stopped into Michael’s today because I remembered hearing about this shop word of mouth from the neighborhood. The experience I had with them was wonderful! I needed my tires aired up and originally had made an appt at the east side Pep Boys location, but no one showed up so I left. I explained what happened at Michael’s and they were fast at helping me air up my tires and at no charge. Very welcoming atmosphere too, if I need other things tuned up or fixed on my car I’ll be visiting again!
