Jerry and his team always go above and beyond. I started going to Jerry in November 2022 when a local Firestone store I had been going to for over 16 years told me they could not order a set of Blizzak (a Firestone brand) winter tires that I needed to replace. Jerry was able to find the Blizzak tires I needed, finding two locally, one in Utah, and one in NH. Again, thanks to Jerry, I was able to travel home for the Thanksgiving holiday with winter tires which is much safer because there is a high probability that I hit some sort of snow when I go home anytime after early Nov. Most recently, I brought my car in on 11/25/25 for what I was hoping was a simple repair before traveling home for Thanksgiving. Turned out the parts needed could only be obtained from Hyundai and would not be delivered until after Thanksgiving. Knowing I was trying to go home for Thanksgiving, Jerry sent a team member to a Hyundai Dealership in College Park, MD to pick up the parts and had my car repaired by 12pm on 11/26. If it was not for Jerry and his team I would not have made it home for Thanksgiving.

Took my Nissan Titan 2004 to Midas in Alexandria for a diagnostic check. At the time she did not have any codes or any lights displayed on a dashboard. They did they diagnostic, when picking up the truck after the diagnostic, I noticed that the VDC/SLIP light on. Come to find out, Midas in Alexandria had taken the fuze out. Warning light and my 4x4 was no longer working. I called them and let them know that I found out what they have done. Of course they deny any wrongdoing and it is hearsay. I know that! I have no reason whatsoever other than make other people aware of what they're doing! Struggling with life for a major company to come over and try to take advantage. Ridiculous but true. Then the diagnostic didn't say much of the reason my battery is draining...only that I need to change the negative cable and needed a new battery. None was true. I went on and started doing things myself I changed the negative cable, same symptoms. Bought a new battery, same symptoms. The battery was still good, the negative cable was not the issue. Now the starter is not working properly and I still don't what's draining the battery. Midas you provide a service for the most part the working class. Why not help instead of taking advantage of people. Lies, deception, and when found don't take any responsibility for your wrong doing. What a disgrace! That's my review to the Midas in Alexandria. I got a reply, apparently from the owner. Seems to me that was a standard answer. I called them ...your customer service...they denied any wrong doing! Probably not the 1st time brought to their customer service nor the owners attention. As the customer service had their standard answer as well as the owner. No further actions, as taking the fuze was as malicious intent...just standard SOP. You can see through their BS!

They were able to fix my car quickly for a reasonable price. I was referred here by a friend who had positive experiences and I was very happy with their service. I didn't have a clear idea of what was wrong with my car and they were able to figure out the problem and fix it the same day. I didn't feel like they were trying to take advantage or up charge me. Friendly, communicative, fast and, while car repairs are never as cheap as you want, fair price.

Went in to determine if I had a faulty battery or alternator. They correctly diagnosed it for me for $45. Gave me an invoice for a $300 battery and $60 worth of service along with $1,500 brake pad replacements. Bought a $125 battery from Costco and swapped it out myself taking all of 5 minutes. Did what I asked them to do but tried to over sell.

The communication from the staff was thorough and transparent about the status and state of my vehicle. They are making updates to paperless inspections and updating systems- we love efficiency and reducing paper waste. I have been coming here for the last three years for my maintenance needs.

Really well managed shop. Very fair prices for oil and tire rotation. I also needed a minor repair done and they quoted me at a reasonable price. Overall I feel like this Midas shop treated me with respect and did not put me through endless haggling unlike many other shops these days. I’d definitely recommend coming to this shop.
