This was my second time renting a truck from this location. The same man was there both times. He's very efficient and helpful. I assume that he is the owner/operator or general manager. A+ customer service and customer experience. This time I was making a one way move and had to have the car carrier too. Penske is very reliable and helpful. They moved a truck with the carrier just over a hundred miles for me so that I didn't have to add that to my move over a hundred miles in the other direction. They stepped up when U-haul dropped the ball on a reservation I had made weeks prior.

Motor Tech Auto Repair and Ricardo saved me over $2,300 by fixing my car’s A/C for about $170. Honest, professional, and the best mechanic experience I’ve ever had. Here’s the full story of what happened… I can’t recommend Motor Tech Auto Repair and Ricardo enough. After another shop quoted me over $2,300 for a new evaporator core, I had to put down a $400 “non-refundable” deposit with the other shop just so they would order the part. (At one point, Ricardo went above and beyond to do some research and show that the other shop was maliciously over charging me.) I was ready to pay for the new part in full at the other shop, but something felt off after one of our conversions. Before I paid for the part and labor (the $2300 to the other shop) I called Motor Tech Auto Repair and spoke with Ricardo, who was polite, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Ricardo charged a fair $150 diagnostic fee, showed me his equipment, and walked me through the whole process. Using a special camera, he proved there were no leaks in my evaporator core. The real issue was too much Freon from an over-the-counter recharge that someone recommended at a retail auto parts store. Ricardo adjusted the levels, and my A/C has been ice cold for over two months now, even in the Florida summer. What really stood out was Ricardo’s care and professionalism. When the other shop refused to refund my $400 deposit and demanded the other mechanic (Ricardo) call them, I assumed Ricardo would politely decline because I thought nobody would want to insert themselves in the drama of fighting for a refund. Instead, he took the time to speak with them — and I’m not exactly sure what he said, but he had my back and the other shop offered a full refund. My only regret is that I didn’t go to Motor Tech Auto Repair first, but at least I now have this story of how they fixed my A/C for about $170 and their honesty saved me thousands from the other mechanic. Since then, I’ve gone out of my way many times in normal conversation with others to discuss cars just so that I can recommend Ricardo and Motor Tech Auto Repair to the person I’m speaking with. Being new to Naples, I didn’t know a trusted place to service my car so I saved those jobs each time I visited my sister’s mechanic in Delray Beach. To be honest when I saw the 420 5 star reviews. I thought no way. But I was only 2 minutes from his shop, so I stopped by for a diagnostic. I drive a Mercedes so wasn't sure if they could figure it out. But Ricardo new right away what it was. Without the computer. I had just left another shop that had it for 2 days and made an incorrect assenet. Ugh. Than man told me exactly how and what he would charge me. And he did.

Riccardo and his mechanics/technicians are really professionals and caring. For the past few weeks, we were experiencing trouble starting our 2007, 70,000 plus, Honda Accord. Knowing that in January, 2026, a brand new battery was installed. So, yesterday, 2/24/26, I attempted to start the car but became much more difficult. Where, I had to perform multiple engagements to start the car. Becoming very concerned, friends had told us about Riccardo and his staff at Motor Tech. Prior to calling, I conducted an additional review of his repair shop. The reviews and information found reflected his shop performs quality work, are experts in foreign cars especially with Hondas’, are specialists in electrical systems and are honest, transparent with fair pricing. Well, all this information was reliably true and I was incredibly surprised when I called at 12 noon, Ricardo was able to get us in immediately to do diagnostics to assure that was the problem and then to remove and replace the starter BY THE CLOSE OF BUSINESS at 5pm.
